Charming flat in an ideal location with a wonderful host! As a solo traveler it was nice to meet Trish and have her show me the particulars of the flat vs fussing with an app or something. The place was cozy and had everything I needed. I hope to return.

Heather, Thank you so much for your generous review and I agree with you that apps are somewhat of a pest and greatly overused. I hope you will return to stay one again one day and, until then, look after yourself and give Maisie and Daisy a cuddle from me. Look after yourself, all the the best Trish and with a head bump from Ozzy xx

Great spot for a solo traveler. Easy access from Heathrow, a five minute walk to West Kensington station and not much more than that to Kensington Olympia. Kind and obliging hosts with just about all the kitchen supplies I needed to get rolling in the morning. A shower would be nice but no biggy, baths for the week it was!

Many thanks for y our review, Jay, and I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay- and the food supplied! - as much as I enjoyed hosting you. Yes, the Flatlet is in a good location but, as it is small, there is no room for a cubicle shower in the bathroom but we Brits love our baths :-) I trust you got home safely and we look forward to seeing you should you return to London again one day. All the best, Trish.

Lovely place to stay. Trish and Kim are wonderful hosts. Both were very helpful with anything I needed or questions answered. Close to Tube station. Very nice neighborhood, restaurants close, and Sainsbury's 1 block away. Laundromat 1 block away to wash multiple loads at same time to save time, very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again!

This is a very cozy flatlet with private kitchen/dining/bathroom/bedroom areas. Perfect for one person. Very close to the train lines, pubs, express groceries, and the like. I really enjoyed the homey feel of this place. I didn’t realize entry was through the owner’s home. It wasn’t bad, I just didn’t want to disturb them. The back garden is very relaxing. The only recommendations I have would be to install a shower head and remove the bathroom carpet. Otherwise this was a nice place to escape the noise of the city.

Many thanks for your review Vickie and I'm pleased you enjoyed your time with us and, particularly, in the garden! Unfortunately there is no room for a shower cubicle in the bathroom which is why there is a hand shower for those who, unlike we Brits, don't like having a bath! I hope to see you again in London one day, whether or not you come to stay, and till then wish you all the very best. Trish

Thank you so much for leaving the Flatlet in perfect order, so much so that my cleaner had very little to do after your departure. All hosts, if you receive an enquiry from Holly to rent your property then do accept it immediately andwithout question as you will be as pleased as I have been to host her in the knowledge that she will care for it as if it were her own.

Perfect location for getting around London. Five minute walk to west Kensington tube on the district line. The area felt very safe which is important when travelling alone. Trish was a wonderful host - easy to communicate with and left me with basic foodstuffs so I didn’t have to worry about food on my first night. Trish also very kindly organised a taxi for me on the day I left. There are plenty of food options in the area if you want to eat out or a local sainsburys is within a short walk. The fully self contained kitchen is a bonus if you want to eat in. The flat also has a washing machine/dryer which is also a bonus when staying a few nights. Enjoyable stay.

I am so pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay in the Flatlet and found the kitchen provisions useful as you settled in. Yes, we are luckily very well located given West Kensington station is close by and Sainsbury's too. It was such a pleasure to meet you and thank you for leaving the Flatlet in good order when you left at what, for me, felt like the crack of dawn! It would be great if you made a return visit one day and, Hosts, should you receive a booking request from Janine then, please, do accept it without question in the knowledge that y our property will be in very safe hands.

I had a wonderful stay--the flatlet was quaint and cozy with the added bonus of a full kitchen and a lovely garden view. Trish is a wonderful host, very welcoming. The locale is great, a quiet side street near the West Kensington Tube station, in easy walking distance, as is a local Sainsbury's for food, and lots of good takeout options as well as a great local pub, the Cumberland Arms. An excellent home base for exploring London.
