Family Vacation

The property is located near Barnstable Village, across the street from the bay. Easily accessible to all areas of the Cape. We were 6 adults and 2 babies and it was the perfect family vacation.

Excellent summer vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay. Great location with a nice small beach across the street. Beautiful views of the Harbor, kids enjoyed roaming the beach at low tide. We had many great kayaking trips around the Harbor. Quiet neighborhood with great takeout/seafood market in walking distance. Nice location to get to other Cape activities. House fit the 5 of us perfectly. Only recommendation is to bring your own beach chairs as the ones at the house are quite worn. Some other favorite memories were quiet moments of morning coffee on the porch and watching the sunset from the upper deck. Also has great outdoor dining space!

We had a great stay at this property. It is a beautiful house in a prime location. We loved all the porches. Nice being near the beach, wharf, and 2 restaurants which are a quick walk. Lots of great beach gear. Only complaints, kitchen was not well stocked. Not even a colander or salt and pepper. Also no extra toilet paper in any of the bathrooms so had to hunt for it. These complaints are minor but nice touches in rental houses. Overall a great stay.

Hi Denise. There was a colander in the upper cabinet left with the bowls and dishes and salt and pepper shakers in the cabinet next to the sink. Extra TP was always left on front closet unless all used and no one let us know. Thanks!

Everything You Need!

This was only our second visit to the area, so we wanted a mid-Cape location that would be easy to day trip from. This house was perfect because we were close to the ferry and other conveniences of Hyannis, but you are separated from the more commercial areas by the quaint Main Street of Barnstable. The neighborhood itself is quiet and we enjoyed walking to to the nearby harbor and beach. The house was very clean and exactly as described. We flew to the area, so we especially appreciated that the house was equipped with everything we could possible need (chairs, towels, cooler and wagon). I would definitely recommend this house for a trip to taste what all the Cape has to offer.

Beautiful Vacation Rental

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and it was great! We enjoyed the access to the beach across the street and the beautiful view from the upper deck. House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a great stay with our family!

Location, location, location

We had a great stay with family. Plenty of space for 4 adults and two young children. Beach access is literally across the street. Very close to restaurants in Barnstable Village. Mellow and quiet scene .... which is what we wanted!!

amazing stay in Barnstable

We stayed in Daniel's amazing house last Summer in August with my wife, mother in law and our three girls. The location is perfect, literally 50 yards from the beach if at all. The house has got everything you need and there is an amazing crab / lobster shack at the harbour where you can buy fresh seafood or just get take-out. There's plenty of beach chairs etc available to take to the beach and everything inside the house is of high standard. Would always love to come back! Thanks Daniel for being a great host...

Great house across the street from the beach

We stayed at this great house in July 2020 for a week with our 2 young children and had wonderful week. The house is situated across the street from a neighborhood beach on Barnstable Harbor. The water is warm (73 degrees last week) and the tides go way out, making for lots of fun exploring tidal pools filled with hermit crabs, crabs and little shrimp. At high tide, the water is very swimmable. The highlight of the home is the second floor with the bright family room, porch that overlooks the water across the street and a nice master bedroom. Our kids loved the twin bedroom. The house is well stocked with soap/cleaning supplies/detergent/paper towels (which many homes we have rented in the past did not provide) and has chairs/umbrella/beach toys. The owner is easy to reach and happily answered all of my questions. 2 restaurants/fish shacks are about 1/4 mile down the street and we ordered from there most nights. It's also an easy drive to Hyannis to go to the large chain grocery stores. My only suggestion is that the 1st and 2nd floor patios could use a sanding and re-staining, but I'm guessing that's on the agenda as they just added on a porch to the front of the house. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful stay in Barnstable!

We stayed for two weeks at the end of last summer. It was a great way to end our summer and spend time with family and friends. Steps away from the beach and short stroll into town. The location is great, with grocery stores close by and everything you need at your fingertips. The house was well outfitted and the views at night are stunning. We hope to be back this year!

Quintessential Cape Cod Vacation Home

My two children and I have had the pleasure of renting this home for the last couple of months. It is located in a gorgeous neighborhood by Barnstable Harbor. Extraordinary nightly sunset views and easy access to Millway beach. When the tide is out we could enjoy long relaxing walks or the kids could play on the flats. Very convenient to markets and restaurants too! You will feel more relaxed and peaceful just driving down the street to this home. Everyone's favorite room in the house is the upstairs living room. There are beautiful water views and high ceilings for tons of natural light!

Raised in Barnstable County, we have always loved the Barnstable Harbor area. The beaches, sunsets and activities are amazing from such a small serene area. That is why we bought this house to have our kids enjoy the area as much as I did and we would love to share the same experience with others. Once you stay here you will be hooked, so we will see you next visit.
