This fully renovated, A/C, family-friendly home is located on a quiet street, in a quaint village, near all the conveniences of urban life. It has everything you need to work remotely, enjoy a family vacation, or have as a home away from home.

2400 Sq Ft home with easy self-check-in with keyless entry, High-speed internet, HD cable and easy sign-in access to your streaming services. We have a well-stocked kitchen with a granite countertop, NEW refrigerator & double oven, with a gas range, filtered water both next to the sink and in the icemaker, electric kettle, multiple coffeemakers, and a propane BBQ.

The house features a beautiful yard with an outdoor dining area, family sized hammock, wood burning Solo Stove, outdoor games, and storage access for bikes and/or boats. We provide beach amenities, toys, and baby gear. We offer shorter rentals from mid-September through May. We are responsive hosts that know that this is your vacation!

• Across the street from Millway Beach: which boasts smooth sand, calm clear water & epic low tides/tidal flats excellent for finding sea life; roped of swimming area, restrooms, a visiting ice-cream truck and gorgeous views of Barnstable Harbor, Sandy Neck Lighthouse & sunsets!

• Walkable to Barnstable Harbor, which offers a public boat launch, whale watching, sunset cruises, fishing charters and two restaurants.

• 0.6 miles to Barnstable Village, its charming history dating back to the 17th century, plus a well-stocked market, 5-star coffee shop, restaurants, galleries, stores, and a playground.

• Only 15 minutes by car to all major amenities: grocery stores, box stores, ferries, airport, hospital, etc.

• Centrally located to an abundance of vacation and family-oriented activities.

First Floor: 1 Bedroom with Queen Bed, small office setup, ¾ Bath with large newly renovated shower with shower stool available, Open concept modern Kitchen, Dining, and Living Rooms, gas fireplace, mud/sand room and a NEW large Washer/Dryer set.

Second Floor: 3 Bedrooms: (1) Master bedroom with a NEW premium Queen sized bed, walk-in closet, small office setup and private patio with ocean views, (1) bedroom with 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin/single, and (1) bedroom with Bunk beds plus a twin/single bed. 2 Pack n’ Plays & a trundle available. 1 shared Full Bathroom with large newly renovated shower and separate air-jet bathing tub.

Outdoor Space: Good sized yard with seating for 8-10, a dining area, wood burning Solo Stove, family sized hammock, propane grill, outdoor shower, lawn games and a driveway that will fit 4 cars.

We’ve had questions about the access to Millway Beach!
Our residential easement is a “rustic” dirt path and you do have to walk down 4-5 large rocks to get to the beach. Pictures included. We’ve never personally had any issues.
You also have access via the public beach. It is 0.2 miles away and offers stairs, down to the sand.
Millway Beach has nice sand, not rocky, great for building sandcastles, tidal flats, and lots of sea life. There is sea grass. The bay is calm, shallow and not too cold. The views & sunsets are gorgeous!

This house was in excellent condition and the best-stocked rental I have ever stayed in. The hosts clearly have experience with children and made sure that everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay was there. There weren’t a ton of child-friendly activities within walking distance, so we did need to drive about 20 minutes for those activities (mini-golf), but it was great to be able to have a super easy walk to the beach. At low tide there is not really a swimming area, but it is fun to walk around and look for wildlife. At high tide there is a nice little swimming area with calm water. Ideal for small children!

So love this quiet neighborhood and relaxed section of the Cape. The downtown is a lovely 15-20 minute walk, past the harbor/marina. Between coffee at Nirvana and the fixings for dinner at the Barnstable Market - it has everything we want! It's the perfect spot to be able to gather as a family, relax, and enjoy being together. The house has a nice open downstairs area that is perfect for some to play games, while others cook or watch tv. The hosts are also great communicators and very responsive. One of our favorite places in the neighborhood!

Well equipped (baby equipment, toys and all) , great location, walking distance to great restaurants. This was a perfect location for my family. Grandchildren age range is 8 months to 3 years so having everything close by was wonderful

Absolutely perfect for our family

The description and photos of this property are spot on. We had a blast here with our 2 kids and their grandparents. Perfect family property, right next to the beach and right next to two seafood restaurants. This was a fantastic stay. And the central AC was sooo helpful when it got up to 90 degrees 2 days in a row. We loved our stay here and you will too.

This was, without a doubt, the best vacation home we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much thought and care the hosts have put into every detail. They were incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions, although everything was so well organized that we hardly needed to ask anything.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with absolutely everything you could imagine. The kitchen had every gadget we could possibly need, and there were books, puzzles, games, and the best assortment of beach toys and activities we've ever found at a rental.The short walk to the beach made it so easy to come and go throughout the day, which was perfect for our family. And of course, the star of the house was Minnow—we absolutely loved the mascot!This home truly felt like it was created with guests in mind. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent Experience

The property is about a 1-2 minute walk to the beach. The house is very well equipped and in excellent condition. It was very good for our multi-generational family. The little village is about a 15 minute walk away and has a coffee house/bakery, restaurant and small market.

Everything as advertised and then some

A quiet neighborhood with a 5 minute stroll to the beach set the stage for a wonderful week. The house was as advertised and this was the best equipped kitchen in any summer rental we have had. We used to rent the same house for ages but then our family expanded and we needed an additional bedroom. Having rented several houses, none were noteworthy enough to return to till now. We have every intention of returning next year.

Excellent family-friendly vacation home in a great location

This Sunset Lane home was our favorite VRBO! Perfect for our family (2 young kids +grandparents). 1st-floor bed&bath with walk-in shower was ideal for grandparents. We loved the big fancy upstairs bathroom! Hosts thoughtfully provided baby gear incl. a pack-and-play. Home-brought blackout curtains were a lifesaver for us. The AC was excellent, the kitchen new and very well-equipped. Loved the many nearby dining options. Millway beach is fantastic, but check the tide charts. Beach gear was abundant. Outdoor shower & laundry room were great. Host communication was superb. This family-friendly home in an excellent location is a must-visit!

Family vacation 2022

This home is spectacular with plenty of room for our growing family! The location was perfect - a short walking distance to the beach for daytime trips (multiple times a day!) with the toddlers/babies ( one liked high tide, one liked low tide!!) and nighttime trips for the adults to enjoy the sunset and stargazing. Along with the beach, all you need is within walking distance - playground, restaurants, ice cream, quaint village shops and a whale watch! All of the amenities are a lovely addition to this beautiful home- the hosts have thought of everything. Having baby items, towels, linens, toys, beach chairs, umbrellas at our fingertips and not have to pack them was a saving grace! You can't beat morning tea and coffee on the porch to start each day and relaxing around the fire pit after being awed by God's wondrous sunsets to end the day. We created wonderful memories in this beautiful home on Sunset Lane and look forward to a return visit!

Amazing Cape Cod Property.Our multi generational family recently stayed at this Barnstable property and we had an amazing time. The hosts communicated promptly and efficiently making the check in and out process a breeze.The house is very comfortable and well stocked with supplies, linen and kitchen equipment. It features large bedrooms and lots of open space. We enjoyed all the amenities provided which included beach equipment, games, outdoor grilling and fire pit, and WiFi.The location is just superb, just a few steps from Millway beach, a beautiful, quiet and safe beach for the children to play. The property is also close to the marina for whale watching cruises, very good seafood restaurants, and the Barnstable village. Its proximity to Route 6A was also a plus.My wife and I have been vacationing on the cape for more than forty years and this property stands out for confort and location. We hope to be back in the future.

Amazing Week in the Best Spot on the Cape

I had an amazing time at this charming property. The owners were perfectly organized in the instructions and have created a really livable vacation house. We had everything at our fingertips. The Mattakeese down the street was great for dinner and we enjoyed spectacular sunsets every night. Barnstable Village is really cute and functional. We had coffee there every morning and did most of our shopping at the Barnstable Market, all walkable from the house. The house itself is perfect. Rooms are big and comfortable. The backyard is great, we loved the birds. Grill, fire pit and outdoor shower are all a pleasure and made for a great trip. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic for families

We had a wonderful week in Cape Cod and this house made everything easy and comfortable for our family—from newly walking 1 year old to grandparents. Location is a 3 min fun walk to a gentle, quiet harbor beach, as well as to a casual outdoor restaurant and fancier restaurant. ~10 min walk to small playground, 12-15min to more restaurants in town. And short drive to everything in Barnstable. The house itself is well laid out, newly renovated, and all the furnishings and decor are new, lovely and good quality. (Including very comfortable beds and nice bedding). Kitchen is good size and very well equipped with all the tools you’ll need—we cooked or grilled most of our meals. My 4-year old loved all the games and kids books, as well as beach toys, and we loved not having to pack all our baby gear. Backyard is also great for lounging, playing, grilling, and dining. Owner was responsive and kind. All in all, a fantastic rental and clear that the owners put a lot of thought and love into the house and the rental experience.

We loved to visit the cape summers with friends. We still do. Our home is set up to be convenient for sharing with 2 families/friends. We know how hard it was to travel with young children and even though those days are beginning to be behind us, we still remember. We hope our house is stocked so you car doesn't need to be.
