Maison de luxe, très bien situé dans les murs de York City

Superbe maison d'une chambre située dans le quartier historique Bishophill de York, à quelques minutes du centre de York. Grand salon / salle à manger moderne avec des sièges confortables, TV, DVD, PS3 et wifi haut débit. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour confortable. A l'étage se trouve une chambre lumineuse et spacieuse, avec un lit king-size Silentnight de haute qualité, beaucoup de rangement avec des meubles vintage et une armoire encastrée. La propriété est adaptée pour deux adultes et deux enfants avec des lits de camp supplémentaires / et un lit de voyage peut être fourni sur demande,
La propriété est nouvelle sur le marché et a été entièrement rénovée.

L'extérieur est une cour couverte sécurisée qui est parfaite pour stocker des vélos et des poussettes. Sur le stationnement de permis de rue est également disponible sur demande.

La propriété est située dans les murs de la ville et est à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville avec toutes ses attractions, restaurants et boutiques; Il est seulement 0. 6 miles de la gare, donc est parfait pour ceux qui arrivent en train. York est une ville cyclable et la propriété est parfaitement placée comme une base pour des vacances à vélo dans le Yorkshire avec un accès facile aux pistes cyclables locales, en évitant les routes principales. La maison est également à une distance de marche (1. 1 miles) de l'hippodrome, les navettes circulent également de la gare les jours de course. L'emplacement central signifie qu'il est également idéalement situé pour visiter les deux universités de York. Bishopthorpe Road est bien connu pour sa gamme de magasins indépendants et la maison est à quelques minutes à pied pour un petit déjeuner tranquille.

La maison est à seulement 5 minutes à pied du Shakespeare Rose Theatre qui visite York cet été.

This was a wonderful stay for our visit to York. We arrived by train and it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the accommodation. From it, the city center is just another easy 15 minute walk, with Yorkminster 20 minutes away. Check in was easy. The house was just perfect for our needs, with a spacious bedroom upstairs and a seating area and kitchen downstairs. We fixed tea and breakfast there. The house was spotless and well maintained. We had no issues. Our host Lisa was very easy to work with, giving us great recommendations for sights to see and places to eat. We followed both and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of places to eat within 10 minutes and there’s a wide variety of choices for eating and shopping. The house is on a quiet street with no traffic. I noticed there’s a parking permit available and street parking would be no issue. We love using VRBO is the is one of the best of the best. We’ve made a new friend, sharing book recommendations and interests. Thanks Lisa!

Wonderful house

We absolutely had the best stay in this beautiful walk up townhouse. Everything so nice & clean. Lisa is great, she even left little treats in kitchen and glasses and carafe water in the bedroom upstairs.

Excellent Property & Location

We recently stayed at the Property over a weekend. Location of the key was simple and inside the house was well kept. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We did have an issue with the Shower but the Owners were extremely responsive and resolved it very quickly. A credit to the service they were providing. The location was extremely good situated extremely close to the City Walls for a quick wander, or if that isn't your thing, then very quick to get into the centre of town. Parking was never an issue and with a community Pub at the end of the street, what else is there to look for!!

Decemebr Weekend Visit

Hi read all the previous reviews and hoped they were accurate. Need not have worried Lisa and the place were all spot on. Checking in easy and although the place is small it was perfect for the two of us. Warm and clean and great location for a 10 minute walk into the centre. Milk in the fridge, coffee, tea and biscuits already there. Many thank for the use of the house highly recommended.

Love this place

Everything was great about this apartment. We loved the location as it was easy to find with my sat nav. Our host (Lisa) was an excellent communicator. The bed was very comfortable and the entire apartment was super clean! We would definitely stay here again.

The property was as describe. We were not in the premises very long and did not use any of the appliances. The shower lacks pressure but a minor complaint. A microwave would be a useful addition.

Family break

Great. Prior to booking-owner was very helpful, providing additional information about her property. Location : quiet, easy to find from the station. Enjoyable walk along the walls into the town centre. Facilities: thoughtful! Kitchen/cooking: great having basic cleaning products provided so no need to go out and buy dishwash liquid etc. Welcome pack was enjoyed by all :) Bathroom etc: unusual and welcome bonus of being provided with soap/shampoo.. Entertainment.. plenty to do in York, but noticed there were games etc, should people just want time to chill out! This was a first trial of using homeaway self catering, and certainly a great experience-so much easier to self cater when breaking a long journey.

This apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It has a well stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting area. The bed was very comfortable. Five minute walk to the river and tourist area.Fifteen minute walk from the train station.

Wonderful situation in lovely city.

York is a lovely, characterful, city with endless things to see and a magnificent part of our heritage. Lisa's property is situated within the old city walls and wonderfully situated to allow seeing all of the sights conveniently by foot - including visiting many by walking around the marvelously preserved city walls. The house/apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable, equipped with everything that you could need and Lisa has added small but thoughtful touches such as leaving small snacks, milk, tea and coffee for her guests - not to mention things like cling-film to wrap sandwiches. I can not recommend either York or Lisa's accommodation highly enough and hope very much to return there.

Like coming home

Arriving at Lisa's flat was like arriving at the home of a long known friend who had prepared everything just-so for us. Lisa was responsive, helpful, friendly with every detail of our stay, from beginning to end. The flat is perfectly located, clean, well kept. I highly recommend staying here.
