Nous sommes au coin de 2 des meilleurs restaurants de Lake Placid. Il y a une belle aire de jeux clĂŽturĂ©e et un parc riverain Ă  proximitĂ©. C’est une promenade rapide jusqu’au Centre Olympique, Ă  l’Anneau Olympique, Ă  Mirror Lake Beach et Ă  Main St.
Cette maison privĂ©e dispose d'un salon, salle Ă  manger et cuisine au premier Ă©tage et 3 chambres et salle de bain complĂšte Ă  l'Ă©tage. Deux chambres ont des lits king size qui peuvent ĂȘtre convertis en 2 lits simples si vous prĂ©fĂ©rez. Le troisiĂšme a un ensemble de lits superposĂ©s. Tous les lits, y compris les couchettes, sont protĂ©gĂ©s par des housses anti-allergĂšnes. Il y a un canapĂ©-lit dans le salon. Nous avons des planchers de bois franc rustiques Ă  l'Ă©tage et des planchers de bois franc polis au rez-de-chaussĂ©e.
Notre porte est munie d'un verrou d'entrĂ©e sans clĂ© Schlage oĂč le code de chaque locataire est unique, donc il n'y a aucune crainte de duplication de clĂ©. Great spot and wonderful hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was warm and cozy and plenty of space for our family of 6. Pat was excellent with communication and very hospitable with helpful local advice. We hope to stay again here.

Family visiting from Germany to spend time in the Adirondacks

This property suited our needs for an accommodation for a multigenerational family visit very well. The hosts were extremely accessible and helpful. It was fun wandering around in Lake Placid. We would very much consider staying at this property again.

We had 4 young child who easily walked to Main Street for all the activities multiple times a day. Great location, nicely stocked with all necessities. Property owner was accessible and prompt to respond. Will stay again!

Location is Everything!

We Hiking women were happy to find a place where we could cook a meal, eat on the patio, get a restful sleep in our own private spaces, and prepare for an epic high peaks hike! This property was perfectly equipped for our needs.

Lake Placid Getaway

We had a great time in Lake Placid at Patricia's place. It had plenty of room for our family of 5. The location was great for exploring downtown Lake Placid. There are many good places to eat close by as well as lots of outdoor activities. Pat was great with communication and it was easy to access the space. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Excellent location and amenities

The cottage is in a wonderful location, that is close to the main street and to main highways while still being secluded enough to have peace and quiet. The amenities provided, particularly cookware in the kitchen are also terrific and allow you to feel like you're at a home away from home while staying. Pat is also incredibly communicative, considerate, and helpful as a host.

Quick Getaway to Lake Placid

House is so well appointed - you want for nothing! The kitchen has all you need, the beds are comfortable and even though there is only 1 bathroom, it works! It is a bit of a walk into town, but definitely possible. Everything is super clean! Parking is easy.

Clean and comfortable

We were impressed with how clean this house was. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets. The owners were very nice and let use use their sleds and snowshoes. The only downside might be that if you have a large group there is only one bathroom, but we made it work. We were very happy with our stay there and would definitely stay here again.

Motorcycle trip to whiteface.

Boy was it a trip. Our host were great! The house was clean and in order they had little things like laundry soap and coffee. Air conditioning! On top of that the host themselves were fantastic and made the trip overall like we were at home would definitely recommend!

Very nice stay at the Red Door Cottage

My husband and I visited Lake Placid over the Fourth of July weekend, along with our two grown sons (20s) and our 17-year-old daughter. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the house is very clean and well-maintained. We loved hanging on the front porch and there is also a nice fenced-in backyard area. The kids walked into "town" (about a 15-minute walk, uphill on the way, downhill back) which worked out really well. As our children get older, we know that vacations for the five of us are drawing to a close. Our stay at the Red Door Cottage will be remembered.

We are business owners and active members of the Lake Placid community where we live year round. My husband grew up in Lake Placid and I moved here in 1983. We raised our family in this house at 380 Mill Pond Dr and are happy to rent it out to families visiting this beautiful area.

This rental is within walking distance to the Olympic Oval, Main St and Mirror Lake. It is clean and bright with comfortable beds and bed linens. The front porch, the back deck and the enclosed side yard offer wonderful private outdoor spaces.

The Red Door Cottage was built in 1920 and has beautiful hardwood floors and clean comfortable rooms.
