Fabulous Como Villa

Varrena Villa Visit

This was a very enjoyable stay in Varenna. When the city crowds got to be too much we could come back to the villa for peace and quiet.

Best Views in All of Varenna!

This villa is in a great location -- close to the train station and ferry dock, yet within walking distance to all the best shopping and restaurants. The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and modern. We loved staying here!

Wonderful Stay

Best view of the lake. It was a privilege staying in this lovely property. Convenient to everything. The owner-manager was wonderful and was kind to shop for us for wine-cheese as we were getting in really late.

Wonderful Villa

This villa was wonderful-great location, close to train and ferry stations as well as restaurants. Quiet, clean, well furnished. Perfect for two couples travelling together for 4 night stay! Really felt as if we were experiencing an “Italian villa” just without the servants!

Exceptional Small Villa

The property more than lived up to its description and was just the right size for two couples. We have stayed in Varenna previously and knew the village. The location of the property was perfect. Overall, the villa was magical with spectacular views of Lake Como.

Wonderful Villa Stay

Great views. Rooms comfy. Street level entrance and a walking path entrance that is close to town and Ferry. Lucca was awesome. Location perfect and views are spectacular. Comfortable, clean and was perfect for sipping wine and watching the sun set over Lake Cumo.

The only issue was no smart TV in the living room. Other than that it was magical! The owner was so accommodating and meet us at the property with a warm welcome. The location was perfect. The veranda was amazing with amazing views of Lake Como. The wear was perfect .Wish we had more days in Varenna. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Varenna stay

We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in this special and unique property. Arriving early after an overnight flight, Alessandro was willing to allow us to store our bags until check in, and then actually ended up letting us check in early when the villa was ready earlier than expected. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable and clean, and the views were spectacular. The location is so convenient - two minutes walk from the center of the town, but tucked away in a magical garden for privacy and peace. A wonderful stay!

Magnificent stay!!

We enjoyed all of it, the breath-taking views from the villa both day and night, ferry rides, exceptional restaurants, villa tours, great hikes, the castle. The host was so kind to meet with us and share his family stories. Five nights wasn’t long enough! The meeting point of 47 Via Venini is important if you are being dropped off or picked up by drivers as the entrance to the property is merely a gate. Most memorable place we’ve stay in our lives,

The perfect escape

My wife and I stayed here for close to a week and we loved our stay. The scenery was beautiful and the private garden and walkway made it very easy to visit the town without having to walk in the street. My wife particularly enjoyed the views from each level of the villa and the many amenities offered. The kitchen is fully equipped (although oddly without plates) and so we were able to have a dinner we prepared ourselves, with the amazing view to complete the experience. We will definitely have many fond memories of our time here.

The photos do not do this home justice. The views from the balconies are incredible and the rooftop vista is the best in Varenna. The garden is amazing. You have access to the main walkway along the water by exiting the garden gate. There’s an elevator for your luggage which was really nice. We stayed here when we got married and we’re so glad we did!

Magnificent!

What an absolute Perect little vacation & this was the most perfect view right on the lake, close to everything. Clean, comfortable, everything was so lovely. Not one complaint. We lo bed being here in the "off" season (if you can even call it that) because it was so nice to hang with the locals & take crisp air walks & not be crowded. My favorite place. Thank you!

Pretty sure I want to live here

We loved every piece of this visit. Unique, interesting, comfortable, beautiful views, private, amazing location, incredibly well stocked kitchen. We went slightly off season so the garden was not completely grown in but I imagine it is quite spectacular. The bedrooms were not the highlight but worker very well for our family of four. We spent most of our trip on the balcony, watching the ferry come and go and enjoying the sun move over the lake. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. It is a 2 minute walk to Veranna and 1 minute to the ferry. The location is amazing. The grounds are amazing beyond belief. The deck is perfect for eating meals or enjoying a glass of wine. The views cannot be done justice by the pictures. It was very comfortable, with nice AC, fast internet and good hot water. Our host Alessandro was incredibly nice, helpful, and responsive. Will definitely stay here again.

Location is everything!

We loved the location of villa Lucia. It’s nice that the house is air conditioned and the internet is really good. Most of our time was spent on the patio overlooking Lake Como while enjoying a Lemoncello Spritz. There are a lot of keys involved with this house due to the multiple levels of the house. Any time we had a problem (only twice), Alessandro the house manager was there to take care of the minor problem.
