Amazing Cottage

Well what can i say, stayed in quite a few cottages in the Lakes over the years, but can honestly say not many can beat this, immaculately presented cottage in the heart of Windermere. Everything you need is there, and its all quality, from pots and pans to bedding. The location is great right in the centre of Windermere but its so peaceful. Plenty of parking on site. Definitely would stay here again. Thankyou.

Beautifully decorated cottage.

Beautifully decorated cottage. Although in the centre of Windermere is very quiet & is bigger than it looks in the photos. Very peaceful master bedroom with comfy king size bed & quality linens. Good selection of DVDs, books & equipment. Great location to get out to the lakes & would not need a car as walking distance to transport. Would definitely recommend.

Great little find in Windermere.

Great little find in Windermere. Really convenient for restaurants especially cafe italia which was excellent. Train and bus very near and ideal when visiting the local but busy beauty spots. Having stayed in Swallows Nest previously we did not have any hesitation in booking it again.

Having stayed in Swallows Nest previously we did not have any hesitation in booking it again. The open plan living suited us well and the outside space was a bonus. Location wise it is right in the heart of the village. The only issue we had was my wife likes the instruction book for all the utilities in the property. It was stated that these would be on the coffee table but it was missing from the whole of the property. Other than that 10/10. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely cottage very spacious for a 2 bed.

A lovely cottage very spacious for a 2 bed. Possibly the cleanest most looked after cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. Everything is on the doorstep. Only downside for me is the outside terrace was very small but we did know that would be the case and our pooch could still go outside securely to toilet. Highly recommend

Wonderful cottage in a great location - perfect for a Lake District mini break. The cottage was well equiped and had some lovely touches that we hadn't experienced in other holiday rentals. Fpr example, a selection of games, books and DVDs for all to enjoy. Great that they accept well behaved dogs too.
