Lovely villa, exactly as described and seen in the photos. All rooms were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area is stunning with a great view and beautiful pool. We were very happy there and can highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

We loved our week at this lovely villa overlooking the south coast of Madeira. The property is as beautiful as the photos and the owners were so helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay! Loved the location and the place was even better than advertised. Beautiful view and fantastic accommodations! The owner was extremely responsive with communications and the check in/out process could not have been easier. My only complaint is that I had to leave at the end of my stay!

Amazing place

This place is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. It is well stocked with all needed amenities. Location is good as long as you have a vehicle. Check in process and communication with owner was all very good. Highly recommend staying at this place

Magnificent vacation

We stayed in this magnificent villa for 10 days in July. Everything was just as we were hoping for, the villa in perfect condition and the view astonishing. The cooperation with the Lira’s family was extremely good and we felt taken care of already from the beginning. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and highly recommend it!

A perfect stay

We were let down by another host on the island, and luckily found this villa. An excellent location for exploring the island, the villa is lovely, lots of space, very clean and first class facilities. Easy and helpful communication with the host. We had a lovely week. Thank you.

Breathtaking views and extremely responsive host

This house is a real find. The view from the house is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Minutes away from tons of restaurants. 40 mins from Funchal. In our opinion, this end of the island is far more beautiful and far less crowded. House was well appointed and extremely clean.

Absolutely stunning property, very clean - check in/out was brilliant. House is huge, 3 excellent size bedrooms (especially master downstairs). Excellent kitchen, well stocked. The views from the pool are just amazing, the pool itself was excellent but it's not heated so was pretty chilly and took a while to get in. House has AC in main living area and in all bedrooms which worked great. Although there were some issues with the house the host responded immediately and sorted them out - the host was friendly, welcoming and kind - communication was excellent. There is parking outside the house down a steep driveway, parking can be tricky. Please take note, when you get to the top of the bank/road coming from the main motorway and you reach the Snack Bar Pavilhão/gym take the first left and not the second! We accidently took the second left and it took us up a road that was created by the devil himself, we thought the car was going to get stuck it was that steep and narrow. House only 5 minute drive from Calheta for supermarkets, beaches and lovely restaurants. Fabulous stay, one of the best houses we have stayed in from VRBO.

Könnte man mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben , so würden wir das tun. Die traumhafte Villa in absolut sonniger Lage lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und unglaublich sauber, Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist hervorragend , wir haben viele tipps erhalten und einen unkomplizierten check in and out genossen. Villa Panorama einfach traumhaft!

Wie werden wir diese Aussicht vermissen. Wenn man es morgens nicht abwarten kann, dass die Sonne aufgeht und endlich den Blick frei gibt auf den Atlantik. Grenzenlose Weite, ein Farbenspiel aus unterschiedlichen Blautönen, das glitzern der Sonne auf dem Meer, die grünen Bananen Plantage auf dem dem Hang von Arco de Caletha und die orangen Dächer der Häuser, die aus den Plantagen hervorstechen. Es ist nicht kitschig und auch kein Traum, es ist Realität. Wenn du dann Abends im Whirlpool sitzt und wie aus einem Flugzeug die beleuchteten Hänge von Arco de Caletha siehst, wirst du dankbar für die Möglichkeit eine Weile in dieser tollen Villa gewohnt zu haben. Hier hat einfach alles gestimmt. Danke an Rui das du uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden hast. Für den Tipp mit der Gelateria in Caletha, die Pizza und das Eis waren super lecker. Wenn wir die Gelegenheit haben, kommen wir gerne nochmal wieder in diese tolle Villa.

Villa Panorama, Arco da Calheta, Maderia

Villa Panorama photos and detail within the VRBO app highlights the quality which you are purchasing. Would highlight that in real life those pictures are quickly dismissed to the true quality of both the villa and the view alike. Arco da Calheta is the perfect place to stay and would recommend this area over others like Funchal but certainly worth a visit for a day but great to get back to Villa. The Villa has everything (and more) that you need and is the perfect base, indeed our group highlighted that you could just stay at the villa and prepare your meals for family and take a laid back approach to your holiday. We choose to use fully the local restaurants across the area, there is many to choose from and range of both quality and price which would suit all. Would suggest that you choose local taxi's to get around, the roads are very steep and you need your wits about you regards thinking about driving yourself around in this area. We found a taxi driver who literally became part of the group, he generally lifted and laid us to all our destinations and indeed took time to show us some spots which only locals would know about. You must budget for this to enjoy your stay, you can walk but this is not for the faint hearted and certainly tests your fitness. Overall the villa and location beautiful, would definitely book again and recommend anyone to enjoy Arco da Calheta from Villa Panorama.
