Le logement est caractĂ©risĂ© par un beau plafond Ă  caissons et des poutres en bois. Il se compose d'une chambre double et d'une armoire, d'une chambre avec deux lits simples ou d'un lit double sur demande et d'une armoire, les deux avec de trĂšs longs matelas TV, cuisine neuve et Ă©quipĂ©e, salle de bain neuve, terrasse, air conditionnĂ© et machine Ă  laver. De toutes les fenĂȘtres, vous pourrez admirer des aperçus de la mer.
L'appartement est dans un bùtiment historique, situé au troisiÚme étage et sans ascenseur.

Relaxing, beautiful space

This was the perfect end of our Italian vacation. The location was perfect, close to the beach and great restaurants. Luigi was easy to work with and super responsive, as was Fabio when it came to check in day. We definitely recommend staying here!

Incredible property and location

Amazing property! The location is perfect, right near the shops and restaurants in Ostia, but on a quiet and private street. There is a private balcony with a table and chairs and an amazing view of the beach and Mediterranean. There is a lot to do in this area, including the beach, shops, restaurants, and Ostia Antica. The owner, Luigi, was very helpful and accomodating. He met us at our pre-arranged check-in time and went over everything we needed to know. Highly recommended!

Lovely Mediterranean apartment

Luigi was wonderful to work with. He met us on time, showed us around the apartment and recommended restaurants nearby. We wish we would have had more time at his lovely apartment with an ocean view!!

Great time in Ostia

We stayed in Luigis appartement for one week. Luigi was very complaisant and helpful. The Appartement is in top condition, everything looks New with some really nice and fancy furniture elements. The balcony with the seaview is wonderful and absolutely worth the steps to the Appartement on the third floor (no elevator), of course seaview means looking between two buildings in front of, but we were glad not staying directly on the sometimes noisy beach Road. The beach areas close to the Appartement are with costs for entrance and offer sunloungers and umbrellas. For the free areas you have to walk the Beach Road for about 6-8 minutes. So we had a really good time there and would totally recommend it. Thank you very much for everything, dear Luigi!

A nightmare check-in

One star overall rating because of the arrogant, supercilious, impolite or simply cutting rude attitude of the owner. After all what happened to us it is hard to believe that he holds a 5 star rating. We (a family of 4 with two kids) rent the apart for 2 nights in early July 2019. Upon arrival we met someone who called himself Antonio. As usual for any check in I gave him to photo my Canadian driver license, and that was ok with him. We thought that it was all for a check in as it is an official ID document with a photo and address. We also agreed that we will pay some taxes and fee in cash the next day, as Antonio has no option for a credit card and asked we pay cash. All ok up to this point until we met Luigi - the owner, on the next day. Luigi told us that he needs to photo or copy passports of all the family (!) including my 9 y.o. and 4 y.o. kids. We've been shocked by that, on top of that, because of the language barrier the oral communication with the host through Google translate was neither clear nor precise. Without providing us all the information Luigi insisted that he need our passports "now". I said that we could do that in the police office as passports contains too sensitive private information and I cannot let him just photo passports of all members of my family. I have inquired what kind of urgency or emergency is to this matter and asked his permission to let us at least to take a shower before going to the police, because by that time we all just returned after our day at beach. While Luigi answered that we go "now" as he is loosing his time with us and he would rather relax at home then dealing with us. That was extremely rude, but we comply and went to the police wearing bathing suits, all the family with 2 kids. Unbelievably humiliating experience! After all we have find out that by law we required to provide ID documents as we always do and that what I did with Antonio on the first day, but there is nothing that it must be particularly passports. Never before Luigi and after him nobody in Italy has asked to copy our passports. So all this story happened because of the rude attitude of Mr. Luigi and his incorrect interpretation of the law requirements as well as his inability to properly inform his clients. No excuse, no nothing after all... never again to Luigi apart. Be careful who travels by car as it is mentioned that parking is included but no parking available and you have to look for a spot on the street.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Dank der schönen Unterkunft haben wir unseren Urlaub abseits des Trubels in Rom sehr genossen. Unser Gastgeber Luigi hat uns freundlich empfangen und war fĂŒr uns jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Verkehrsanbindung nach Rom mit der Metro ist unproblematisch. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und nette Restaurants gibt es in der NĂ€he.

Es war einfach perfekt

Die Wohnung sieht genauso schön aus, wie auf den Fotos in dem Inserat. Das Bett ist "richtig" bezogen mit BettwĂ€sche und nicht - wie oft im SĂŒden ĂŒblich - nur mit Wolldecke und Laken. In der KĂŒche findet man an GerĂ€ten (inkl. Kaffepad-Maschine) und Geschirr alles, was man braucht. Das Einzige, was man bedenken sollte, sind die vielen Treppen (4. Stock ohne Fahrstuhl), daher ist das Apartment fĂŒr körperlich eingeschrĂ€nkte Personen nicht geeignet. FĂŒr mich war es ein prima "Training" ;) In der Umgebung ist eine FußgĂ€ngerzone mit vielen schönen Restaurants und CafĂ©s. Bis zum Strand lĂ€uft man keine 5 Minuten, allerdings wird dort ab dem 01. Mai Eintritt verlangt (der ist es auch wert!) - aber von der Promenade aus sieht man leider nur die UmkleidehĂ€uschen. Das scheint aber in Italien allgemein ĂŒblich zu sein. Der Weg nach Rom mit den Öffis ist unkompliziert, allerdings muss man schon von der TĂŒr bis zum Zentrum mindestens eine Stunde Weg einrechnen. DafĂŒr kehrt man aber abends in ein wunderschönes und sehr ruhiges Apartment zurĂŒck und guckt von der Terrasse aus noch ein bißchen auf das Meer oder geht in einem der Restaurants ohne die Hektik von Rom in Ruhe essen. Ich empfehle den Besuch von Ostia Antica, einer AusgrabungsstĂ€tte in der NĂ€he, die grĂ¶ĂŸer und fast so beeindruckend ist, wie Pompeji. Wenn man mal einen Tag keine Lust auf Sightseeing hat, kann man den Tag gut am Strand verbringen, der sehr gepflegt und sauber ist. In der NĂ€he des Apartments ist ein sehr guter BĂ€cker und am Bahnhof ein guter Supermarkt, in dem man alles bekommt , was man braucht. Da ich alleine verreist bin, fand ich es sehr schön, dass ich abends auf dem Fernseher Netflix und Youtube hatte. Luigi ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und die Kommunikation auf englisch war völlig problemlos und immer freundlich.

Eine wirklich tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist super modern eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Meer und in der NĂ€he der Innenstadt ist perfekt. Man muss sich nur immer gut einen Parkplatz suchen, da direkt vor der TĂŒr nicht gut geparkt werden kann. Man ist schnell an der Bahnstation, wo man mit einem 24 h Rom Ticket fĂŒr 7, - in Rom mit allen Verkehrsmitteln von atac fahren kann. Direkt beim Bahnhof ist sich ein Carrefour Markt zum Einkaufen, der 24/7 geöffnet hat. Luigi ist ein sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der uns wĂ€hrend des Aufenthaltes auch ĂŒber Whatts App mit Fragen gerne weiter geholfen hat. Ich wĂŒrde auf jeden Fall nochmal in diese Wohnung gehen wĂ€hrend meines Aufenthaltes in Ostia.

Ein tolles, sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Appartement

Ein tolles blitzsauberes und gut ausgestattetes Appartement. Sehr gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet – wir haben uns sofort wohl gefĂŒhlt. Durch die Lage im 5. Stock hat man einen tollen Blick auf’s Meer. Allerdings sollte man sich bereits im Vorfeld ĂŒberlegen, wieviel GepĂ€ck nötig ist. Direkt am Haus kann praktisch nicht geparkt werden, so dass man u.U. ein paar Meter mit GepĂ€ck laufen muss. Die Bahnstation fĂŒr die ZĂŒge in Richtung Rom ist nur 500 Meter entfernt. Die ZĂŒge fahren fast im Viertelstundentakt in ca. 35 Minuten nach Rom. FĂŒr unsere tĂ€glichen RomausflĂŒge konnten wir deshalb das Auto stehen lassen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Übergabe der Wohnung war unkompliziert, alles hat hervorragend geklappt. Ich kann das Appartement auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Comfort and convenience

The condo was beautifully decorated and the owners were very helpful in getting us settled. The view was beautiful, and the patio off the master bedroom was the perfect place for wine in the evening and coffee on the morning. It is located less than a block from the main piazza, where there are many good restaurants. Excellent place to stay!!
