Cette belle, spacieuse, chalet de sĂ©quoia se trouve sur l'Ăźle incroyable lac Ă  environ 2 miles Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la communautĂ© non constituĂ©e en sociĂ©tĂ© d'Orange Springs. SituĂ© sur une parfaite, lac terrain privĂ©, la propriĂ©tĂ© se compose de la grande maison principale, une spacieuse maison d'hĂŽtes, parking, station d'accueil, maison de bateau, et d'un patio. Grands vue sur le lac, de vieux chĂȘnes en direct avec la mousse espagnole, et une brise du lac dĂ©crivent cet environnement pittoresque. EntiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ© en 2011, cette merveilleuse retraite a une grande cuisine avec cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz; restaurants, vie, famille et chambres donnant sur le lac; nouvelles salles de bains; laverie; mobilier bien amĂ©nagĂ©es; et plus. La maison principale peut accueillir 7. Si vous louez la maison d'hĂŽtes en option (2 personnes), la propriĂ©tĂ© peut accueillir un total de 9. Le dock est excellent pour la pĂȘche et le lac est idĂ©ale pour la baignade. 80 pieds de rivage vous attend. Il ya un canot, barbecue, table de pique-nique, et d'un foyer pour se dĂ©tendre Ă  l'extĂ©rieur.

En outre, je dois 2 autres maisons sur le lac à proximité, si celui-ci semble trop grand.

Birthday weekend

I celebrated my 70th with family and that live in Island Lake! It’s a great location for me and it’s a beautiful setting. The house is clean comfortable and inviting. The process of renting couldn’t have been easier. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

Relax and Decompose

The lake house is something of a fairytale. Hugh trees with Spanish moss, an adorable home, and a spectacular view right on the lake. It’s located in the country so you can relax and get a piece of mind.

Great End of Summer Vacation

My family and I are frequent visitors to the Redwood Cottage and always have a great time. The weather was great and the fishing right off the dock was amazing. Ed has always been a great host. We have booked with him for at least 15 years.

Perfect getaway

This is the second time I have rented from this owner. It is set perfectly on a lake and made us feel like we were on a true vacation from everything. The neighbors aren't close, but close enough that you don't feel too isolated. The home was clean and had everything provided that we needed. I hope to be back at some point!

Fabulous FL Lake Stay

We were all very pleased upon arrival to see this beautiful property. The cabin is well appointed, clean, has a fantastic view with an open feel of surrounding windows. Gorgeous oaks with their Spanish moss abounding. The kids & dog enjoyed playing in the lake daily, canoeing around & just having outdoor fun. We brought bikes but didn't use them since the neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks & folks drive fast. Fishing off the dock was just what we wanted. The yard is fenced along 3 sides to the water, there is some gap by the gate(s) if your dog would consider running/swimming off you will have to watch them. There are motor boats in this lake with some noise but it is overall peaceful. My older 2 kids stayed on the bunk beds in the den with the TV (YouTube only available unless you have other subscriptions). This room is nice for family relaxing with comfortable furniture, only no door for those staying in it for privacy. One child in the guest room slept comfortably. Master bedroom is nice, some sag in the bed had us switching places after a couple days. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower & a tub in the master. Everything is labeled for easy use, there is most anything you need in the kitchen, nice washer/dryer. Plenty of towels. A Dollar G is a couple miles away for most food/sundries, but not a full grocery. Need charcoal for BBQ. Good wifi access. Few bugs, especially for FL by a lake. Need to transport trash to recycling center yourself. Beautiful & will return!

The Red Cabin on Island Lake

We had a wonderful time at this charming, old-Florida cabin on Island Lake. Exactly as described, well-appointed and plenty of room for everyone to be very comfortable. Communication with the owner is prompt and helpful. This is a rural destination so pack extras like paper goods, toiletries, and bottled water (due to well water). This place is very peaceful and relaxing. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend this property and owner!

Great spot

Overall, great place to stay. Great value, comfortable, gorgeous view, clean, comfortable beds. The lake is so serene and great for swimming and fishing. My kids had a blast and pulled out a bunch of little Bass. Access to Horseshoe Lake Park nearby was a plus. Several miles of trails walking distance from front door. Main house clean and not musty, the family room with bunks surprisingly works since there's so much living space in the foyer dining room kitchen and back porch. Really enjoyed our stay. A few critiques. Not much information about the check-in / checkout process. House does show it's age abit in nooks and crannies and bathrooms. Water has strong sulfur odor and plumbing is a little slow.

Amazing Property

This property is so beautiful and we'll kept that it far exceeded our expectations. EVERYTHING is labeled in the house which is awesome. Canoes are available for use. This place is a perfect example of old Florida at its finest.

An Absolutely Amazing Vacation

We absolutely loved our vacation at the lake. The house and guest house exceeded our expectations. The view was breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. The firepit was so relaxing and our food on the grill was delicious. A fantastic time.

After extenisve renovations and infrastructure upgrades, I began renting our other 2 lake homes in 2004. I wanted others to enjoy this part of Florida as I did growing up. I have a wonderful local staff that works to ensure that guests are satisfied.
