Bring your boats, backpacks, dirt bikes and ATVs to this recently renovated, handicap accessible home on a canal with access to Lake Kerr. WATER LEVEL IS CURRENTLY LOW SO CANAL IS NOT NAVIGABLE, Tons of ATV and dirt bike trails abound. Property is 1 mile from forest ATV trailhead. Florida Scenic hiking trail within 1 mile. Handicap accessible home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths with spacious living room with smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking for the whole gang! Ample dining room seating. Beautiful deck with propane grill and water and forest views! Come and meet Marley and Olivia (Ollie), my potbellied pigs! Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows and view the beautiful night stars! 3 complimentary Kayaks available for use. Volleyball/badminton net in backyard as well as fishing rods and tackle. Boat launch for Lake Kerr 1 mile away. Lake Kerr is great for fishing, boating and swimming! Salt Springs is 10 min away with restaurants, bars, marina, parks, fishing bait and supplies as well as sporting goods for boating and hunting. 30 min from Silver Springs State Park. House is non-smoking but may responsibly smoke outside. Please note that the 4th bedroom has a cabinet murphy bed and the space is shared with the dining area

QUIET TIME 10PM TO 7AM, STRICTLY ENFORCED. MUSIC MUST BE KEPT AT REASONABLE LEVEL.

NO ATV RIDING IN NEIGHBORHOOD EXCEPT TO AND FROM THE ATV TRAILS.

Wonderful Stay

I came out with friends and family and throughly enjoyed our stay! It was exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect, neighbors are very welcoming and I cant say enough good things about it. If I’m ever back I won’t hesitate to book here again.

Amazing Stay!!

Kathy was super accommodating for our stay. Her place is perfect. Very peaceful with everything you need. We enjoyed the fire pit, plentiful firewood, deck, scenery, kayaks, and played some volleyball. The house is spacious and the beds are comfy. We just left and can’t wait to get back and stay here again! Please book. I searched for a long time and am so happy I found and booked this stay!

Salt Springs Memorial Weekend trip

This was probably the best place we have stayed at down there! The house was basically perfect! We wish the back deck would have outside entrance but that's the only thing we can complain about. The kids loved seeing the pigs, playing volleyball and laying in the hammock! The owner Kathy was very nice! We will definitely be staying there when we come back again!

Wakesurf weekend

My friends and I came to lake Kerr for a wakesurf weekend and had a blast! Kathy was great let us check in early so we could drop our dogs off at the house and hit the water for some surfing!! This house had pretty much anything you could think of. Fire pit, ice if you needed, pontoon boat to rent fishing gear. We all enjoyed our stay!

Amazing family memories

We booked this and the communication with homeowners was great and easy. The pictures and description are accurate. When we arrived we loved it! The house, the area, the outdoor was exactly what we wanted! The owner was always available and very friendly provided suggestions and help us to have the best experience. I will recommend this for families the kids loved Marlie the pig, played with the wood, they had the opportunity to go fishing and used the ATV! Doing the s’mores at the fire pit was a highlight!

Beautiful and Peaceful Property with Some Boating Challenges

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, with the highlight being an early morning sighting of an owl in flight. The only minor hiccup was that the lake was a bit too shallow for our boat, which meant we couldn't take it out as planned. Unfortunately, it was too late to rent one from another location. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and appreciated the serene environment.

Great Springbreak from our busy lives

Our two families were looking for some adventures and relaxation from our busy lives. This was a great place to do it. Kathy was a great hostess! We rented the pontoon boat on property for a couple days for our relaxation, and then we did ATV trails (brought our own ATVs) and zip lining for our adventure. We grilled on the deck, made s’mores and used the fire pit a couple of nights. The older kids loved the kayaks and playing volley ball at the house. So much to do on property and nearby. We had a great time! Thank you so much Kathy-it was definitely needed.

Spring Break Get Away

We stayed for summer break 2024. This gem was the perfect house for our gang. We brought our side by sides and rode in the early morning straight from the property and rented the host pontoon in the afternoon. Great mix of entertainment for our kids that ranged from 8-19 years old. The house was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. The kitchen was recently redone. Plenty of dishes, pot and pans and silverware for a large group. The weber grill on the patio was great for quick lunches. We loved our stay and hopefully be back again. Thanks Kathy (host) for the wonderful time.

The best getaway !

This property is amazing . The photos don’t do it justice at all . The owners are super awesome! House is cozy and adorable and had everything we needed in the house and more! It was very well equipped! They even have a mini beach that you can go to by their boat which is amazing ! The ATV was super fun to ride! Best vacation ever ,we had a blast ! Thanks Kathy and Ed!

Family reunion

We were able to cook out, and most importantly we all sat at the table together. Kitchen is equipped to cook for the whole gang! We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Wifi and smart TV allowed for a modern day sharing of pics. Memories of many smiles and much laughter made here. Enjoyed it very much!

It was not what I expected to surprise my family

It's honestly not what I expected. -Outside is dirty and looking bad. You don't have a good view of what looks like a lake in the photos. It has 2 bedrooms for 2 couples with privacy, it has another bedroom with twins beds for children and two sofa beds in the living room and dining room ... My son and his wife left because there was no private bedroom for them Definitely not going back there. I must say that the owners live next door but they are very friendly. The owners of the house is the only I liked.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Our boat dock is under construction so the yard and the water area is a work in progress. I have noted that in the property description. Great time with friends

The hosts were amazing. The location is great, on the canal. We rented their pontoon boat for a little additional fee and enjoyed a great day on the lake. Huge fire pit, big back deck. Neighbors are not big on any noise after 10. Voices carry out in the forest. Marley the pot belly pig was a great addition.

Cabin Review

Had a great weekend staying here for the Easter weekend. Kathy and Ed were very helpful friendly and accomodating to us as we had a late checkin. We enjoyed staying here with our friends. Kathy was very helpful in giving us tips about the area, where to hike in the area and Ed helped us out with the pontoon boat at Salt Springs Run. We Loved the deck and big firepit out front with copious amounts of wood available. Would recommend to stay here again

The house comfortably accommodates big/multi families and is handicap accessible. There are plenty of outdoor activities to stay busy or you can just sit on the deck or around the fire and watch the stars! We live nearby so we are available for any help/questions/concerns you may have or we can give you as much privacy as you would like.

My neighbors say that living in this area is like "old Florida", the way it used to be before the big tourism boom. The people are tremendous and the area is quiet and laid back. Your get all the benefits of the lake with the bonus of the beauty of the forest without the beach crowds..
