Profitez de notre chalet confortable avec vue sur le lac depuis le salon, la cuisine et la salle familiale. Nous avons une cuisine bien équipée si vous choisissez de manger. Un gril à gaz est à votre disposition. Nous avons 2 kayaks et un assortiment de gilets de sauvetage pour vous permettre d'explorer l'eau - il y a un magnifique banc de sable tout près.
Après une journée sur l'eau ou sur un sentier ou sur un terrain de golf, retournez au chalet et profitez du foyer extérieur.
L'accès au lac est à 4 minutes à pied d'un fond chaud, peu profond et sablonneux - parfait pour les jeunes!
Se détendre et se détendre est le seul but!

This site is absolutely phenomenal in reality. I should give it 10 or 10 there’s one very minor item and that the shower is a little old, but the entire property is not only pristinely located, it’s very clean and very quietThe bed was super comfortable and I am a fussy traveller so it was an overall fantastic stayI literally bombarded the host Jeff with questions and each time he answered them flawlessly and patiently I am 100% coming back to this locationThank you so much, Jeff

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting beautiful Houghton Lake! This was our second time staying at this property and we had great time! It is clean, cozy, and perfect for us. We will be back!

Family visit

We had a wonderful time staying in this cottage! We were visiting our grandmother and we were looking for a quiet place near her home. This place was perfect! It is a very comfortable place in a nice neighborhood. It had all of the comforts of home and we look forward to staying here again! Its a cozy cottage with nice views of the lake!

Ice Fishing

Up for weekend of ice fishing. This house was perfect for me and would be great for a small group. Lake access is very close and easy. I had a great weekend and will stay here again!

Wonderful cabin stay!

Jeff was awesome in communicating when needed. Cabin was super clean. Comfortable and quiet. We had my 4 year old and she had a blast. So many options for beach vacation. I would definitely go back for a week anytime. Beds where comfortable also thats always a plus! Thanks for letting my family enjoy.

All was good. The only thing that i would suggest is to update the shower. It is very old and hard to operate and very low water pressure.

Family week

My husband and I came up for a few days by ourselves and then our adult kids came up for the remainder of the week. The cabin was cute in a nice neighborhood. Everything we needed was provided. It was in walking distance to a great spot to watch the sunset. The water is waist deep and seems to stay that way for miles. The owner was attentive and communicated well during booking and arriving.

Short Stay

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t accommodating to our plans. Place was very nice. WiFi excellent. Good kitchen capabilities. TV entertainment not so good and complex to navigate. Normal issues with well water use.

Houghton Lake stay

The home seemed if it had never been updated and the plugs would not stay in the receptacles. The toilet was a problem from day 1 as it wouldn't accept much toilet paper and seemed as if it was always going to over flow. Therefore it had to be flushed more than once while using not to clog it or overflow.The fire-pit had a lot to desire. Also there was wood but no kindling. During our stay we found another place that was spectacular and right next to the lake. I would never waste my time or gas to go back. Sorry Jeff.

Hi Debra- First, I am always readily available by phone or text, yet I never received anything from you regarding problems. I touch base with each guest the morning after check-in to make sure they are happy or see if they need anything, but you never responded to my inquiry. I did note that you contacted me 21 times (I actually counted them as they are still in the app) prior to your check in, so why you wouldn’t contact me DURING a stay I’m honestly baffled. I am sorry you are unhappy with our toilet. You are the first guest to ever mention it in 5 years of renting. We are on a well, as noted in the listing. But flow has never been a problem according to hundreds of guests, and my own wife and children- and my wife would not tolerate a problem toilet. In regards to the fire pit, pictures are in the listing, so it should’ve been as expected. We do not supply firewood or kindling, nor is it noted that we do in the listing. Firewood is plentiful in the area from many private citizens selling on various streets. Again, if you had concerns, I could have resolved them had you responded to my inquiry. Here’s hoping your new choice of host can meet your expectations.
