Plusieurs belles plages telles que Venise, Manasota et Sharky sont situĂ©es Ă  seulement quelques kilomĂštres. L'avenue historique de Venise, avec ses boutiques uniques, ses restaurants exceptionnels, ses Ă©vĂ©nements spĂ©ciaux, son marchĂ© de producteurs, son court de tennis et sa fontaine pour enfants, ainsi que la piste cyclable Legacy Trail (de Sarasota Ă  Venise), sont Ă  proximitĂ©. The home was a perfect place to spend our winter vacation! The screened-in pool was great, a bit cool pool, but it was first week of March and pool is heated by solar from roof system, which is cool to watch at 10am every day. We loved the outside area, all screened, no insects, liked the ceiling fan & lights to play cards thru the late night.Comfortable beds, plenty of space in both bedrooms and great master bathroom shower. We enjoyed the very large kitchen prepping breakfast and lunch every day, and enjoying our meals at the dining room table or outside table. We even spent one evening watching a movie, having so much to choose from to watch was great and your internet is fast.We were w/o a car for 2 days and walked to have meals and shop, sadly there are no sidwalks, but the subdivision is very quiet and easy to walk in the street along the sides. Wish this part of Venice had more sidewalks by the stores and restaurants too, but of course lack of sidewalks are not our owner's issues, but the city of Venice, just for your info. We had communications with Jan and he was very pleasant and quick to answer everything. A great host.

two chairs are high top chairs at lower table, but others were normal heighth.Kitchen cabinets are wonky
doors don’t mesh, and cheaply made. Nice countertops, however.Kitchen ware could use some updates.Decor lacked coordination, and seemed mostly second hand.Washing machine settings didn’t all work. Jan to repair or replace.

Had to sweep up dead and live ants from the hallway bathroom on 2 mornings. There was a small amount of coffee left in the pantry, enough for half a pot. Host stated would not replenish due to house policy. Otherwise check in was simple and the house met all our needs nice neighborhood. Would stay again

We fully enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.Prior residents of Sarasota, we return to visit old friends.This home is in an older neighborhood of Venice. Upon arrival, the yard was neat and clean.Upon entering, we found one of the cleanest, most comfortable homes we have ever rented. This was a particularly HOT summer for the area. As frequent visitors to the Florida Panhandle beaches and as our focus was on visiting friends, we weren't interested in a lot of outdoor activities. That's why we rented a home with a pool! This pool is wonderful! Larger than most found in homes this size, it was very clean and the temperature quite comfortable with the help of the screen cage. No mosquitoes, no flies, it was heaven!The kitchen was well equipped (though it could use more serving dishes), it was very nice to have a washer and dryer and the bathrooms were well stocked with soap, shampoo, TP and towels. The bedding was quite comfortable. There were also plenty of beach/pool towels, floats, beach chairs and coolers available.The host, Jan, was easy to communicate with and very prompt to respond to the few questions we had both prior to and during our stay. This home is going in our favorites! We would love to stay here again on another visit!

I would highly recommend this rental. It is clean, fully stocked, great tv with satellite and free Netflix, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and showers, and nice pool. The owner lives in the area and was extremely responsive. Beach was very close and beach chairs and pool items were provided. Will return again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

2 week Snowbird Escape

Perfect home base for our time in venice

Nice family style home in quiet neighborhood.

House is just as described. Not luxury but well maintained. Pool is relaxing and clean. Host was responsive to inquiries. Jan (he/him) initally came off as a bit overbearing, but that was probably just a misunderstanding of the situation. We encountered a bit of a language barrier but we got everything worked out and we hope the a/c issue was just a temporary fluke. We enjoyed our weekend and it was nice to be within just a few minutes of beaches, good restaurants and not too far from several neat attactions. Highly recommend a day at The Ringling (about 30-40 min drive). reported.

Absolutely perfect

We really enjoyed our time staying here and only wish it was longer. This was the cleanest house I have ever rented. The bedrooms were large and the mattresses were so comfortable. The pool was definitely the star. We enjoyed sitting poolside and swimming all day long. Can’t say enough good things. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

The house was delightful to stay in for the week. It had everything we needed. The house was clean and well kept. The pool and outdoor area were wonderful! Owner was easy to work with and answered any questions quickly! Looking forward to staying here next time we travel to FL.

We loved it!

The property was just how described. The house was clean and cool when we entered. The check-in/out process was very easy. The bathrooms and showers were large and very clean and we really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/silverware/coffee maker etc. There were beach chairs and beach towels available as well. We really enjoyed our stay. We only had two small issues. The stove top burners were not working properly when we went to use them the first time. We contacted the host about the issue and they fixed it very quickly, the host actually replaced the stove for us! The mattress in the main bedroom was a little too soft for our liking. Not a major issue, just a preference. We would stay here again, no doubt about it. We would recommend this property to family and friends as well.
