Une maison extrêmement privée située dans un quartier résidentiel, avec un bosquet de trembles à l'avant et une forêt nationale à l'arrière, mais à seulement un mile de toutes les commodités, magasins, restaurants et magasins d'usine!

La cabine comprend une terrasse enveloppante, un poêle à bois et de nouveaux meubles dans la grande salle / cuisine. Cette cabine comprend des améliorations modernes telles que la fournaise à air pulsé, le système de filtration d'eau de toute la maison, le chauffe-eau et les stores occultants motorisés, et tous les appareils.

L'arrière-cour privée pénètre dans le Eagles Nest Wilderness dans la forêt nationale de White River, reliée aux sentiers sereins de Buffalo Mountain, Lily Pad Lakes, Willow Falls et bien d'autres à énumérer! La randonnée, le nordique et la raquette sont dans l'arrière-cour de votre logement privé. Vous pouvez même voir le renard et l'orignal résidents!

À quelques minutes des stations de ski de renommée mondiale, Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin, Loveland et Copper Mountains ~ Seulement 15-20 minutes! Un court trajet en voiture de Vail, environ 40-45 min, et Steamboat un peu plus d'une heure.

Après une journée de plaisir, détendez-vous sur la magnifique terrasse, avec vue sur le lac Dillon avec un cacao pour les enfants, un Hot Toddy pour les adultes, créant un excellent repas sur le barbecue à gaz Weber!

We had an amazing vacation at this home. The owner, Lisa, was so accomodating and the home fit our group of nine perfectly. I am glad we had four wheel drive vehicles due to the heavy snow. We would definitely stay here again!

Our two families absolutely loved our stay at the Silver Chalet. It has so much great character and it was a real treat to snuggle around the wood burning stove. Silverthorne has great access to the rest of Summit County so we felt like we were away from it all while still being close to the ski resorts. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was very convinient for hiking, fishing, restaurants, shopping... We enjoyed it very much. The kitchen was the most beautiful place to hang out in my opinion, the artisan table was the star of the house! The Aspen trees all around the house was very pretty too, especially when the windy blows.

Great Experience

My family had a great week at this lovely cabin in the woods. It was clean and well-appointed. Lisa, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, and graciously answered our many questions prior to arrival. The location of the cabin is a great spot to explore/enjoy Summit County and central Colorado. Some days we just hung around the cabin and walked into the backyard National Forest for a few hours, what a great time!

Amazing Mountain Retreat!

Our group had the most wonderful time ringing in the New Year at the Silver Aspen Chalet! The location is fantastic - close to town, a short drive to Copper Mountain, but set back enough that the mornings and evenings were so peaceful looking out at the view. The house was equipped with everything we needed to make for a fun filled weekend - kitchen supplies, logs for a fire, sleds for playing in the snow and puzzles/games for quality time. Great cabin retreat

Updated kitchen with a warm common area for watching the beautiful Colorado scenery through a wall of windows. There is no master bedroom as two bedrooms share the same bath. Three beds in the loft are great for kids or teens! A nice touch from the owners included motorized light blocking shades for the windows.

Perfect Stay

The cabin is everything we hoped it would be; everyone enjoyed it immensely! Great location close to town so everything you may want is easily accessible. A small neighborhood out front and a forest out back. We stayed in late June into July so we did multiple summer activities. Hiking, rafting, kayaking on the reservoir, horseback riding, etc. Any adventure you may want is close by or a short drive away. A fully stocked kitchen made meals easy to cook. The owner is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. I would give our stay 10 stars if I could, and would easily and happily return again. Great memories with our family!

Amazing Cabin

We have done at least 20 VRBOs over the past five years and this cabin was our all time favorite. The location was awesome with the mountain and woods behind the cabin and easy access to stores, restaurants and adjacent towns. The view out the huge front windows provided a great view of the mountains especially when the sun was rising over them in the morning. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a group of nine. The owners was awesome and extremely helpful. Even though we went when there was four foot of snow behind the cabin we saw a lot of wildlife from foxes, pine martins and a variety of birds (bring a bird feeder, bird feed and put out on the porch...you won't be disappointed). With access to trails behind the cabin I think this would be an even better place for the summer and if we can make it work I plan on renting it again then. Overall Amazing Cabin!!!!

Amazing house with Amazing location

Property owner was very good with communication of details, address, and could be reached before and during our stay. House came with games, fireplace, comfortable beds, very close to grocery store and restaurants. House had lots of little extras that some rentals don’t have and had fully stocked kitchen. Great location to drive to ski mountains like Breck, Keystone, Copper and Vail. We were sad to leave and would definitely rent this house again!!

Trust me, you will love this place. Beautiful setting and house. In prefect condition. The owner is always reachable and so helpful. Above and beyond. Absolutely no issues and if we return to this area, this is our place. Only warning... if going in the winter, four wheel drive is a must. The driveway is just steep enough that a two wheel drive vehicle won't make it in the snow/ice. Our four wheel drive rental had no problem.

Actively playing in Summit County since 1980, we are finally able to call this our home! Pat and Lisa Pfeifer live in Denver and are thrilled to retreat in the mountains with the seclusion Mesa Cortina provides, just minutes from the conveniences of civilization!

Our two sons, Steven and Ryan, board and ski respectively, with our daughter-in-law taking to the snowboard now too! Pat and Lisa downhill ski, but have been enjoying snow shoeing and can forage a new path or pick up the existing Mesa Cortina trail out the back of the house.

Summit County is our escape!

We have had many family memories exploring the trails of all seasons, both hiking around Summit County and on the slopes of Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and A-Basin. We are excited to share our home with you!

With Pat being a woodworker hobbyist, the unique construction caught our eye. You will notice the custom dining table, a couple of end tables, and shelving, were made by Pat using fallen lumber from the backyard forest, which he refers to as his lumberyard. The home was built by a craftsman 3 generations ago, having a unique personality, from which we like to enhance.

This home has great character! Love with the views from the deck. Full sun and excellent lighting. A great floor plan for the family to gather as a community and enjoy one another's company. All the creature comforts, with access to nature.

As picturesque as the setting is, unfortunately, no weddings are allowed.

Cabin fit for a king!
~ This place has everything you will need for a great ski/snowboard trip in the mountains with your friends! We had ample space and never had any issues with feeling cooped up. It is within 15-20 minutes from Keystone. Beautiful view off the deck viewing the town below with mountains as far as the eye can see


Great Location and Stunning Views
~ The cabin was fantastic. It was a little up in the mountains and had stunning views in front and back. One morning a couple of Foxes were playing in the yard and one of them got curious and stared at me (I was on the balcony) and eventually laid down facing me near the driveway. There was plenty of space in the cabin and beds for everyone. One thing my tall friend enjoyed was actually being able to stand up in the shower. He is 6 foot 7 and typically has to bend over but not here! The place had plenty of the everyday essentials you might want for making meals in the house should you prefer to do so. The table was great for eating and board games.


Cabin was perfect... Exceeded our already high expectations!!
~ We stayed at this cabin for a week after Christmas and during New Years to go skiing at Loveland. The cabin is in a very nice neighborhood in an outstanding location, near shops, grocery stores, restaurants, a couple of major ski areas like Breck, Keystone, and a bunch of others. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the loft was WAY bigger than the pictures depict. We had all the beds full but space was never an issue.
