Great location-short walk to good food (Sour Duck, ADP) & cold beer, short drive to every place we needed to be. Cozy, comfortable & tidy little spot.

As others have noted, AC wall unit directly above the bed which was not on upon arrival so it took hours to MOSTLY cool down the unit. Overnight the temp was comfortable, but the small AC does not keep up as the day goes on - temps got up to 98 for our stay. Internet and TV are simply aweful. Location was everything for this rental, which worked out well for us. Overall it was OK and doable for a night or two.

The A/C is plenty powerful for the whole unit. It keeps the home very cool even in temps of 100 . Perhaps you had it on a wrong setting. Wish you would have reached out. Also, we never have complaints about the internet. Again, if you would have reached out, we could have helped to troubleshoot the issue. Sorry this wasn’t a great experience for you.

Weekend Getaway

Girlfriend and I attended a concert at the Moody Center and this spot was a great place to stay for the night. Perfect walking distance to the venue and great place to stay for the night.

Adorable house

I had a blast staying here. It’s a cute, quirky little house that was perfect for me. I was able to cook meals, do a couple loads of laundry and walk back and forth to the pool at the University to watch my daughter swim.

Great location, home had everything we needed

Super comfortable king size bed and nice shower. My friend and I were out of the Vrbo most of the time but when we were there it was a great place to rest and chill. I loved the bench swing on the front porch. Also, great location! Close to Rainey Street, 6th Street, Lady Bird Lake, etc.

Perfect little studio. Loved it!!!!

This little cabana was so perfect for our downtown activities. I loved the uniqueness of the garage back door opening up to the outside to a nice sitting area. It made the flow of the place perfect. The overall ambience of the place is very relaxing and peaceful.

Excellent property with easy access to the city

This was a wonderful property. Communication was timely, courteous, and thorough. The house fit three people perfectly, with the air mattress. Clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a weekend stay. Beds and mattress were really comfortable. Garage-door wall opening to the patio was amazing on a nice day. Hard to close, but whatever. I would absolutely book this property, again.

Great location - needs some attention

Location is wonderful if you are looking for close to the UT Tennise Center, Softball etc. The house itself has some challenges though. It wasn't terribly clean, with several dead bugs in kitchen upon check in. Very sparse on plates, glasses etc. No coffee machine (french press). The Internet is dreadful, lost connection many times and extremely slow. The TV is unusable. yes lots of channels, but the TV speakers are totally blown. Water pressure is very poor. If you have thick hair you would need to stay in it for a good while. The AC unit is right above a bed which has a slight gradient slope to it. Sleep was poor. The blinds are basically see thru, especially in bathroom which is very awkward. Overall, I would not stay here again which is sad as we go to this area each year and the location was great.

Better off staying at a hotel. I’m sad to say I did not have a great experience here. To start, the unit only has a window air conditioner. It is also locked to only have a few settings available, which could have been fine had it been turned on to cool the unit down prior. I probably spent a total of an hour at this unit, and it had not cooled down at all. I’m not sure how this is safe in the Texas heat, as it was sweltering hot in there. I get you want to save money on utilities but you should think of your customers first. Next, it was not very clean in there. Dust and cobwebs on the lights, stains on the beds comforter and pillow, ripped up chairs, etc. For the price, you would think you wouldn’t have an issue. Another issue is the door leading to the backyard is an old garage door. It is not properly sealed and lets in the horrible heat. The backyard is also facing a trailer home that has access to the backyard, and with the unsealed door, it creates an unsafe environment. At this point, I decided to find a nearby hotel to stay at. Ironically the Super8 in town was by far more clean, safe, and you could actually use the air conditioner. I brought all of this to Vrbo’s attention, and all the things listed are NOT considered hazardous or unsafe. I would have loved to enjoy this stay but I did not. Especially for not staying in the unit over an hour, I would love a partial refund, but dirty sheets and unsealed doors are not enough for Vrbo. Stay at your own risk.

This review is way off base. The home cools down nicely with the A/C. It is not “locked”. Not sure what he is referring to but you are free to set the A/C to whatever temp you want. The home is professionally cleaned after each guest and we rarely have cleanliness complaints. It seems this guest is piling on because he wanted to cancel and did not receive a full refund. One thing I agree with - this guest is better suited for a hotel.

Very convenient location to walk to UT Moody center and Stadium for graduation. Easy parking right on street in front of place. Nice kitchen. Only negatives were water pressure in shower and slant of floor where bed is. Would still choose to stay here again.
