Great location!!

Beach access was amazing. Great view from our place. The staff in the office were very helpful. We would stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is doing a better walk through. There was food in the fridge left from a previous stay.

Run down, smelled of urine/dog, black mold all over shower on top of it not being clean and full of toothpaste when we arrived, one of the beds was broken, dishes in the kitchen were not clean prior to us arriving, “living area” was extremely small with a disgusting brown couch you wouldn’t dare sit on. Did not stay the night it was so bad. Reached out to property manager just for them to do absolutely nothing and accuse me of dirtying the place myself even though we didn’t stay. Couldn’t find accommodations elsewhere with it being a holiday. Had my children and family from out of town with me. Absolutely terrible experience. Stay away from this place and the ownership. They don’t care about their guests never mind anything else.

Great property, unit was meh.

Tropic Terrace is a mid century dream. The property, pool, beach accessibility and amenities are all terrific. Our particular unit was in desperate need of an update and it smelled funny. Would definitely go back, but stay in a different unit and different time of year. Beware of red tide!

Not as expected!!!!

This location is not a true beach front property. It is a bit of a walk to the beach. You can not see the beach from the condo. The location was far from all the shops. We flew in to Clearwater and did not have a car. To get to anything we had to do Uber or take the ptsa. The location is not convenient. The condo is very old but was very clean. It takes the property manager days to answer back with any questions that u may have.

Beautiful location

Tropic Terrace is in a great location central to restaurants and activities. We found a good selection of shells on the beach and the sand was clean of debris. Our room was cozy and met our family of 5 needs. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool equally. Great place to stay and would come back in the future.

Nice Condo + Awesome Location

The condo was perfect for spending a few days on the beach within close walking distance of lots of good restaurants! We loved that it was right on the beach.

ok w the right expectations

Tropic Terrace is located steps from a beautiful beach, it could not be more convenient and you can catch the sunset from the property or stroll to the beach in a few minutes. The grounds are well maintained and the heated pool fun for everyone. With that said, pictures of the unit we stayed in are misleading. It is very tiny and very dated. Our biggest issues were: Two queen bed advertised but actually one queen and one full mattress. The fridge was horrific. Both fridge and freezer smelled of dead fish that stunk up your food and the entire place each time you had to open the fridge or freezer. I am not sure the fridge is salvageable and am not sure why this was not addressed prior to our arrival. Smaller issues we encountered were a dirty sheet was left on the sleeper sofa mattress, two non working lamps in the living room and one of the bedroom, the bathtub water faucet fell in the tub when I tried to take a shower. The listing should clearly state what is and is not provided (salt/pepper, olive oil, sponge, bath towels, beach towels, hand soap for kitchen and bath, etc) We spent most of our time outdoors which minimize the issues. We didn't get our check in information until after 4pm when I called a second time to ask how we could get in the unit. You will receive an email the day before check in telling you that your code will be emailed as soon as the unit is ready, possibly before the 4pm check in time, however when I talked to someone they specifically said that information is emailed automatically at 4pm, so no chance of an early check in. You will be urged to get a parking pass, which you can get in the office of the building - nowhere does it tell you where to get your parking pass or that no one is there on a holiday so we freaked out about having our car parked there the first night since we couldn't get a pass. I had send a few emails 5 days prior to our arrival which were not answered until after we got there, too late for us to plan accordingly. With all that said, you cant beat the location and we made the best of it.
