À propos du quartier

Ormond Beach

The unit was ideal for our group of four. The views of both the ocean and the Daytona skyline were exceptional and truly enhanced our stay. I would highly recommend this unit for families, couples, or solo travelers.

There is partial ocean view from the side balcony and good view from master bedroom. Communication is excellent with customer service. This specific home had windows in guest room that you weren’t allowed to open which was frustrating. Balcony seats are hightops and not very comfortable . No laundry detergent in home and no kettle. Limited # of plates. Pans worn out. Appliances nice and clean. Parking easy, nice beach chairs in garage.

Great Location

Ormond Beach is the best. The condo had a great view and was easy in and out. Great location, close to everything but far enough away that it was a nice quiet beach. We saw a rocket launch at night and it was the perfect place to watch it! Would definitely stay again!

Great place to relax. Beautiful Views.

Ormond has always been the perfect location for us when visiting the Daytona area. Close to everything, yet far enough away from the crazy folks and noisemakers. This condo was perfect. Nicely remodeled with beautiful views and every amenity you need. The buildings common areas are old Florida funky and give the place some character; hint of mothballs and even a shuffleboard court which we had to try out. Would definitely stay here again.

The beach view was beautiful and the unit was nicely furnished. Unfortunately they were having some maintenance issues and the AC was broken. They had temporary units in all of the rooms. This blocked access to the door to the balcony from the primary, blocked the side of the bed in the second bedroom and the one in the living room was literally secured with cardboard and packing tape. It rained and of course leaked all over the floor. The Florida Vacay team was very responsive, but given how strict the contract terms were and all of the undisclosed insurance costs or security deposits I was not happy to deal with all of that. They also had construction above us ongoing all day on our last day which was awful. I understand things are going to happen, but at minimum the AC issue should have been disclosed and alternatives offered. Also note very minimal supplies provided (2 trash bags for a week, no tissues, minimal toilet paper, etc.)

The condo was clean. They washed the sheets in a product that was very perfumed. I had to rewash them twice to remove the smell. They told me NOT TO TOUCH THE HURRICAN SHUTTERS. they were not properly locked down when we arrived, we discovered on the night of gale force winds, when they banged and creaked ALL NIGHT. That was 2 nights of lost sleep. The mattress in the guest bedroom is soft and creaky. We were a family of five. There were 4 forks and 4 spoons. I picked up a set of 4 at Walmart and left them there. You're welcome. There were 8 dinner plates. For a place advertised for 6 that does not cover breakfast and dinner. The building elevator is slow. OK. But when you check out, give yourself extra time because they remotely lock your door at 10 a.m. You need that key fob to make trips back and forth to the car and need to return the fob at the end. I had to call the Vacay Office and have them unlock it remotely to return the fob. If you are headed for an airport plan for that. I enjoyed my vacation, because I roll with what is. But I feel that Vacay does not rise to the same standard that they ask of the guests.

Great Condo. Clean, great location, great view, easy beach & pool access. Has just about everything you need. The beach is not overcrowded like other locations. Updated appliances, comfortable beds. Little pricey for me, but it was worth it.

Time well spent!

Walked in and immediately went to the window to see the view! Was hooked from there. Found all kitchen utensils that were available and was immediately impressed about what we could do without having to go out for every meal! The balcony gave a beautiful view of the early morning sun. The whole month was a great success!

Location

The were not a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. We really needed a rental vehicle to stay here. Also there where a couple of strict rules that were enforced that did not seem necessary like my some getting yelled at for not having a shirt on.

Thank you for leaving a review! Since we only manage the condo and not the property, unfortunately we do not have control over the rules and regulations that are set by the onsite management. We greatly apologize for the way they were enforced and we will be discussing this with the office to ensure there are no issues with our future renters. We hope you come back and visit us again soon! “Beach Wishes” from the Florida Vacay Team
