The cabin was beautiful and very spacious. There were no chairs for the deck as the pictures had shown. Also the pots and pans need replacing, so bring your own. The water was yellowish brown. We used bottled water to brush our teeth, cook with and drink. Bought ice also.

Great Beach House!

Accurately presented online, close proximity to the beach, great hangout area below the house, plenty of seating in living room and dinning area, and water pressure was good enough that we could take showers at the same time!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Swordfish for my daughters wedding. Plenty of room for all of us. The place was clean and we had everything we needed. We will stay there when we visit again.

Surfside Beach fun

We stay at surfside yearly , The property was very nice and location was great and beach was clean and easy access to beach ..it’s a great spot for kids with cul-de-sac road so not much traffic! Owner was very responsive on questions we had.. also we loved the professional clean sheets and towels

Blue swordfish was beautiful

The Blue swordfish was a beautiful spacious house. I loved that every room had their own bathroom. Everything was very clean. Enjoyed after every shower the nice towels. Perfect after a long day at the beach.

Great get away and hidden gem!

I only stayed for a weekend but will be coming back for a week long stay! The house is amazing and love the updates! Great location and easy access to the beach. Highly recommend this house for any size family. My friends and I enjoyed this house immensely! Again we will be back soon!

This was a great beach house. Location was perfect. House was perfect because every room had a bathroom. The smell of the water was the only issue when taking a shower. Space was great for our vehicles and boat. BBQ pits provided were rusty. This is a beach home I would book again. Thank you for a welcome stay.

Great vacation rental and just what the family needed! Although yard could’ve been maintained/trimmed to try to alleviate the mosquito problem or had the yard sprayed prior to our arrival, we spent little time outside the house unless it was to grill our food! Also PLEASE look into the egg, it is a huge liability for yall, the lid was not secured on as for the hinges were rusted to no return luckily we had eyes and hands on! The lid is very heavy and was super inconvenient to have to lift on and on just too cook! Thank you!

Great news, we're glad your family received some good island therapy! We appreciate you allowing us to host your stay. Unfortunately with the repeated rain before your stay, it creates a challenge with both mowing and mosquitoes. Just need things to dry up a bit and so wish we could control Mother Nature for our guests. As for the green egg, we appreciate the feedback and have passed it along to this home's owner. We will be adding a regular charcoal grill. Thank you.

Labor Day weekend

Considerate host, stayed 12 people for 3 nights. Overall it was great! Except the mosquito situation outdoors is not good, especially at night. Pack lots of repellent. An upstairs grill would be awesome!

It is a great location and home and appreciate you noting. We're sorry the shower curtain was misbehaving for you and hopefully you were able to put it back up? As for the dishwasher, perhaps you didn't have the switch turned on? There is a switch we've labeled "dishwasher" (looks like a light switch) that needs to be in the ON position for there to be power to the dishwasher. It is common here on the island, but you may not have been looking for it. Thank you for allowing us to host you.

Small Town Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this Surfside beach house! The home was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect—just a short, easy walk (about a block) to the beach, which often felt like our own private stretch of sand. The neighbors were friendly, and the entire area had a peaceful, welcoming vibe.The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The check-in process was a breeze, and checkout was even easier. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back—it was a perfect trip!

Nice and clean house

Very clean, fresh paint, wonderfully uncluttered. Nice deck. Bring your own beach towels. Boardwalk across to beach accommodated our golf cart, which was great when getting our chairs & supplies to the beach. House is on corner of road so a bit of road noise.
