Windy Shores sur le magnifique lac Dunlap

S'il vous plaßt noter que le barrage sur le lac Dunlap a éclaté et ce lac a trÚs peu d'eau. Notre maison est toujours à louer mais il n'y a pas d'accÚs en bateau à l'eau. Les gens peuvent nager, faire du kayak, du canoë, etc.

Ce trois chambres, deux et un demi bain maison se trouve sur une partie de la riviÚre Guadalupe connu comme le lac Dunlap à seulement deux miles à l'extérieur de New Braunfels, Texas de l'autoroute 46. Cette maison est sur 2. 5 acres de propriété riveraine avec un quai.

Amenez la famille pour des vacances vous ne serez jamais oublier sur cette retraite paisible situĂ© dans la belle New Braunfels au Texas. New Braunfels est la maison de la riviĂšre Guadalupe et le parc aquatique le plus populaire aux États-Unis, Schlitterbahn. Également Ă  proximitĂ© sont les centres commerciaux Ă  San Marcos, oĂč vous pouvez passer des jours les achats de plus de 200 magasins.

Aussi est Ă  environ une heure de Sea World Ă  San Antonio ainsi que Fiesta Texas et le San Antonio River Walk.

Relaxing

My husband and I had a phenomenal time. It was quiet and the views were amazing. We also had the pleasure of see a family of deer running and relaxing in the front of the house . We absolutely loved it. It was much needed down time. Can't wait to book again. Thank you Wendy

A Get away from the “Fun”

My brother got married this weekend, April 19, 2025 and needless to say like it was a little chaotic. Your home was more than just a house. It was exactly that a home for us away from the chaos. Everything was so tidy and comforting. You didn’t feel like you were going to break it when you stayed there.I told so many people how great and amazing it was that. Girls weekend

The pictures are beautiful. However, the moment you drive through the gate you know you have arrived at not just a beautiful property, but a beautiful experience. As you walk through this house you realize that attention to all possible needs are met. But, when you step onto the back patio and see the grounds, the family of deer and beatiful lake, you know you are in for an amazing time. Oh and you have to walk barefoot through the grass.

Wonderful Stay at Windy Shores

Everything was wonderful from the long driveway, seeing all the deer, easy straight forward entry into the beautiful clean home, wonderful screened in back porch, and sitting areas with wonderful views of the lake. We played in the lake, fished off the dock, and enjoyed the board games. We went to wonder the tube chute and enjoyed the river and went to San Antonio! Windy Shores was wonderful and close to

Perfect little house in quiet location. Near all attractions that NB has to offer yet not right on top of other vacationers.

Relaxing

The home itself was great. It was very clean and had every thing. The only thing that was a little disappointing was how hard it was to get to the water. There was a ladder that didn’t seem sturdy enough to climb down from the dock to the water. Due to this we felt the description of the home was misleading. You really can’t swim from here and if we had kayaks it would have been really hard to get them down and then back up that ladder. The home was perfect for my elderly parents but my teenagers were bored and disappointed.

Windy Shores Winter vacation

My husband and I rented this beautiful property for the month of February. If I could, I would have given them even more stars. . Everything was even nicer than we expected. Wende and Sandy were very pleasant and helpful. It was a great experience! We hope to make it back, next year! I would highly recommend this property! You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful property and very homey.

We all loved staying there. The outdoor space and dock area are beautiful and relaxing! Even though there are houses all on the water, it was never too loud at any time of the day. The outdoor screened patio was great for sitting out when it gets dark and having some wine with good friends. The home is very spacious and comfortable. Wish we had decided to stay longer!

Perfect place to enjoy a weekend or spend a week!

Great setting. Loved the screened in porch, large yard and semi-secluded back yard. Perfect access to the lake for swimming, boating, fishing or just a relaxing evening by the water. Hosts were easy to work with and the house is large enough that your not tripping over each other. Will be back for sure.

A great house for family & friends to gather

We spent the weekend with family and enjoyed it very much. The course is very comfortable, and well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the huge yard, and the docks made it easy access for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Layout and Excellent Location!

We fell in love with this house. The location is convenient to Gruene, New Braunfels and even San Marcos. We rented the house while we moved in our Texas State Bobcat. The house slept our niece and her friend in one room comfortably. My wife and our two young boys slept in another bedroom. My sister and brother in law slept in the master. We had room for a few more folks with the rollaway beds and couches. The layout is excellent for families. We loved the back patio and open living area. The home is very well maintained and wonderfully equipped with most everything you need. The water front is beautiful. We caught several fish (one big 24 inch catfish as well!) and enjoyed watching the water skiers. My only regret is we didn't bring our boat and stay longer!

Beautiful location, relaxing stay

We loved staying at Windy Shores. The house is clean, inviting, and comfortable...just enough in terms of decor but no personal effects to make it feel strange. Sleeping areas are large and roll away beds accommodate lots of kids! Great location on the quiet side of the Guadalupe with gorgeous views and a sprawling lawn. Only a short drive to town, tubing, Schlitterbahn. We will be back! Thank you Wende
