Plenty of space!

This property worked well for our large group. There were plenty of beds for everyone, and lots of amenities. Ms. Lee was very good with communication, and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay.

60th Birthday, Family Trip

Brenda Lee's Genesis Estate was perfect for our party of 16, ranging from ages 4 to 75. Communication with Brenda Lee was perfect, she was very responsive and courteous. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The kitchen was amazing! The commercial refrigerator and stove were a huge plus. The outdoor grill and Blackstone were nearly new, and worked great! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool too. It was an amazing 4 days, and we would stay here again. Thank you Brenda Lee.

Perfect place to stay

Family reunion in TN

My family and I (about 30 people) found this listing while planning our reunion for this year. I was extremely pleased with Brenda's responsiveness and eagerness to answer questions and support our planning efforts even months in advance. The property recently had some renovations so the actual condition of the house was even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the pool area, grills available for use, and the pool table in the basement. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group looking for a peaceful getaway that is still close enough to surrounding larger citiies.

Lots of space

The property had plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone to enjoy. The pool was great and well kept. Plenty of towels in the different rooms. Good water pressure and hot water.

Perfect house for amazing family reunion weekend

We loved staying at Brenda Lee's place during our family reunion. We had 12 adults and 2 children and had PLENTY of room. Nice size kitchen and plenty of spaces to socialize in big and small groups. We had a great time in the pool and just lounging on the porch. We ate almost every meal at the big double picnic table outside! This is a great place for a large group and has plenty of space -- inside and outside!

Huge country estate that is fabulous for large groups!

Our group had an amazing stay at Brenda’s home. It was perfect for our large group and we truly enjoyed the large kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, pool, and acreage. The home is large enough to have quiet space away from the group, but has terrific gathering spaces as well. We made use of the giant dining room table too! We traveled with dogs, and they loved to space to stretch their legs. Brenda was always very responsive to any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this estate!

Family Reunion in Lascassas

The property was the perfect setting for our family of 26 to gather to celebrate one of our family members 90th birthday. The property was spacious and there was much to enjoy as a family (outdoor entertainment space with pool, indoor exercise space, open yard space for games for kids, etc...). The rooms easily accommodated the size of our family with sleeping arrangements and bathroom facilities. All of which were well maintained. The large kitchen and food preparation accommodations made it easy to serve meals for our large group. We enjoyed are stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Genesis states what a gem!

I was at this beautiful estate for one week. It was wonderful from the driveway to the home and the beautiful backyard the views were beautiful and relaxing . Mother nature does this place excellent. Plenty of room to be inside the home with a great workout room fireplace beautiful pool picnic area outside gorgeous kitchen all the great amenities that you may need. You are minutes away from Nashville and a Nother beautiful city name Franklin and beautiful lakes and reservoirs are nearby. I definitely will be back again.

Perfect Getaway with Family

This house was just perfect for 10 of us - 5 adults and 5 kids - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and lots of differrent areas to explore in the home. We spent most of our days around the pool - we brought pop up tents for some shade as there are no pool umbrellas - and the pool was perfect - nice size and the whole pool is the same depth - 4 1/2 feet - great for games and just hanging out in the water! The kitchen provided space to prepare all meals and the grill was put to good use a few times. We made use of the yard as well for family wiffle ball games and corn hole too. All in all it was just what we wanted - a great space to hang with family !!

Great for large group

We were looking for a large house for a family reunion. Genesis fit the bill. The house was clean and fit our needs. Brenda Lee was the perfect host. Her communication was great. All questions were answered within an hour. Children loved the pool and yard. Adults loved the porch and pool. We did karaoke and all laughed and participated. Don't hesitate to rent this house. We also went to Nashville, Bell Buckle and played golf. Great get away.

A wonderful country estate it is!

We gathered in Tennessee for my Mom's 85th birthday celebration and this house was perfect for such an occasion. The owner, Brenda Lee, was wonderful to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We have stayed in multiple large properties throughout the US and each has its own "quirks", but the pictures and descriptions of this property are pretty accurate. The living areas are beautifully decorated and we didn't even have the chance to use all of them. Consider this country estate if you have a big group who each like their individual space and can take advantage of the beautiful pool and outside areas. Labor Day

Lots of space for sleeping and bathing. Very limited space for bringing in supplies for cooking. Space is occupied with owner supplies and materi als. Similar in bedrooms... had to live out of suitcases. No Hot tub, contrary to what the advertisement depicts. No large table for 10 as stated in advertising. Overall good stay.. just did not meet expectations as listed in advertising.

Great big house for family reunion

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful large home big enough to accommodate our large family. Brenda stopped by as we were checking in and was very nice and made sure we had everything we might have needed during our stay. The pool was just right for the kids and adults to enjoy on the hot days and there were plenty of floats as well. The kitchen and dining area was big enough for our family of 23 to enjoy each other company. The kitchen was loaded with everything you needed to prep and cook meals and the fridge is huge, one of the dishwashers was not working during our stay but it didn't make a difference to us as there are 2 sinks to wash some dishes by hand. The basement was a great gathering space to relax, play some pool, and make fun memories singing on the karaoke machine. There are 2 rooms upstairs that are suites with 2 bedrooms in 1. Perfect for parents that need to have their little children in the room with them. Overall our stay at this gorgeous home was great and if we chose to vacation in the area again, we will for sure be staying here.

Peaceful getaway

This was a last minute family and friends getaway weekend and Ms. Brenda’s home was in the ideal location for all of us to meet up. The house itself is huge! And you can tell that so much love and care was put into every single room. To say the kitchen was well appointed would be an understatement! My only concern in renting the house was the pool. We were afraid that the weather would not permit the use of the pool, (chilly nights), but Ms Brenda informed us that although the pool does have a heater, it sat in full sun and the use of the heater wouldn’t be necessary. She was absolutely correct. Even at night the water was warm enough for us to swim. The weekend was perfect! The house was amazing! The host was so nice and helpful, and easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to get out in the country and enjoy some time with family and or friends.

Reunion Group

The posted pictures are not current and not representative. The pool was opened during our stay (since the owner knew we were coming I didn't get that) but not usable. Algae, dead frog - you get the point. Cleanliness in general was underwhelming. Two dishwashers yes but one not usable as it was literally falling out of the cabinet. Several nonworking lamps (bulbs), missing window coverings, freezer inoperative so a couple bags of ice provided. Many knobs missing from bedroom furniture. Our best count was six bedrooms with private baths. My group felt like we paid for a five star and got a three star. The owner was very nice , the property has some great features, but as it is today you may be disappointed.

Dear Mr. Foley, I am deeply saddened to hear of all your concerns, I sincerely apologize that the pool was opened on your arrival date. We usually open our pool Labor Day weekend. Due to chemicals, it was not ready the same day. It's usually takes 24 hours. I am in the process of updating the photos of the two rooms that I redecorated. I want to ensure our guest that we always have a current representation as to how the property looks. Genesis Estate has eight bedrooms and 8 1/2 bathrooms. Huge disappointment

The house is not kept up to be safe and ready for visitors. The owner lives there and has clutter in every room; piles of things in different rooms. Unfinished Projects all over the house, floor boards poking up upstairs and down, exposed electrical sockets, bee infestation on the porch, many pans and dishes were dirty, part of the kitchen stove doesn’t work. One of two dishwashers do not work, Outside grill is broken. The sinks don’t drain properly, stains on the sheets and towels. Grass was not cut prior to arrival. Jenny, so sorry to read this review. I sure wished you would of communicated all your concerns during your 4 day stay, I am always willing to address any concerns immediately. There are NEVER additional fees unless you book a wedding or party and that is stated under policy’s & rules before booking. I am not aware of additional charges. Brenda Lee

More Than Expected

The pool was just right for our party of 14 adults and 12 children. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had fun floaties for the kids. Given that there may have been as many as twenty of us in the pool at one time, it was nice we had it all to ourselves. We have been to many newer places, but it seems overall, the bedrooms in Genesis were larger and certainly had more character. With at least ten distinct gathering places (4 living rooms, deck, porch, dining room, patio, etc.) other than bedrooms, the home allowed us to break into smaller groups or pairs for great adult connect times. The grills served us very well. One was a large gas griddle. Our youngest son has been developing his skill as a master in “smash burgers”. The menu had been planned and he and been committed well before we arrived. But fabulous smash burgers require a griddle! They were really good! The big basement room (finished) gave us so much flexibility. The 12 kids all 10 and under could have stayed inside if they had to. It was wonderful. The hostess Brenda Lee was over the top. I had all of the communication I needed. True southern hospitality.

GENESIS VACATION

Our family of 17 adults and 3 youth enjoyed our 4 night/5 day stay. Brenda, the owner, is a person of integrity. She was always available via phone, email, and text. We found Brenda to be caring, cordial, and considerate. The spacious dining room and connecting room accommodated our large group for our Thanksgiving gathering. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate our large group. The beds were very comfortable. The 3 ovens were very handy and of much use for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. The seasonal decorations of the Christmas trees and entire house were beautiful and very tasteful. The commercial refrigerator was sufficiently large to hold all our perishables. Plus there was a nearby standup freezer. There were numerous rooms to find comfort in; including sitting rooms, den rooms, reading rooms (hosting a multitude of books), and living rooms. We found pleasure in knowing you could secure both solitude and privacy, along with group cohesiveness throughout various parts of the house. The huge basement was compartmentalized into three areas: a weight machine area with a 8' pool table, an attached open area room in which we set up our professional photohraphy needs, and a third enclosed room with mirrors in which some of us performed our aerobics and Zumba dancing. The main Living room fireplace was a pleasant addition to the warmth and coziness of the home. The size of the home met everyone's needs. The home has a nice size back outdoor pool which we can be benefited from in warmer temperatures. The outside of the home was well decorated and allowed us to take memorable family holiday photos on the front steps and porch of the home. Brenda, we thank you for sharing your lovely home facility with us.

Great home for cat friendly people. Very old home with a lot of rooms. Owner lives in space when not rented.

Excellent property for large gatherings

We booked our family reunion at this wonderful home. This home was very spacious and had beautiful accommodations. We were able to spread out comfortably and come together in one space just as comfortable. The view of the Tennessee hills was a big bonus. The property owner could not have been more gracious and responsive. I have rented many properties over the years and Miss Brenda Lee was by far the most communicative property owner I have ever dealt with. We would not hesitate to rebook this property again sometime in the future

A beautiful place for families to gather together. Heated salt water pool, Volleyball, frisbee golf, wrap around porches. Beautiful sun rises, very private, surrounded by 600 acres of beautiful rolling hills. Awesome for Church retreats too!
