Family vaction 2025

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, very satisfied and would return.Property floors were not a clean as they should have been. Pantry was full of junk. Snack bar out of same product for multiple days & and as closing time approached, staff became less interested in providing good service.

The house comes with everything you need, including a pack and play, and beach toys. The management company is very response to any needs in the house- the front porch screen was missing, and they came over and fixed it immediately. The only thing that needs a little attention is the growth around the property. It made it hard to get out of the cars in the back driveway. Highly recommend this property.

The property was clean for the most part - except the floors - which I imagine is difficult considering the fact that it's a "beach rental". Everything we needed was there and it was located in the midst of the fun yet also far enough away to have quiet time. The screened in porch was great!

Reviewer Comments: Our family of 18, having vacationed at Beachwalk for 10 years, enjoyed perfect weather and the Shores at Beachwood. We had plenty of room, and enjoyed the most comfortable seating of any home we've ever rented. The only downside was the condition of the tile flooring in the main room and kitchen. We noticed that our grandkids' feet were all black on the bottom. We found a mop and mopped this floor 3 times to get it anywhere clean. The water from the mop was rinsed in the kitchen sink and it was totally black. A photo was shown to the ladies at the front desk. For the cleaning fee we pay, we expect better than this. Overall, a good stay.

Great Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous Beachwalk community home. Access to lake Michigan, great pool and new activity center. Great for family of all ages. Multiple golf courses nearby. Lots of room to spread out. Good sized kitchen to accommodate everyone. The only thing missing was an outdoor shower, golf cart and FIRE PIT!! We had to buy ourselves a portable pit just to enjoy the summer nights by the fire for s'mores. That was a little disappointing but we made due.

Reviewer Comments: The best parts of Eastern Shore and Shore Side (guest house) are its size and location. Close to the pool and playground and not too far to beach. I wish the places were a bit more updated and cleaner, but that may be the result of the cleaning crew. The house could be better stocked and use some beach towels, at least for those families traveling from far who can’t pack all those things. Despite those things, we had a great time with the whole crew

The unfinished basement turned out to be a place to let loose and burn some energy.The location is great. Near all the amenities and the waterfall park.For the most part it was clean. Would have liked cleaner floors for the crawlers. But with sand and playground junk, it was hard to keep it clean enough.

Week stay in beachwalk

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to beachwalk for several years and have stayed in various rental homes. This house has a great layout in terms of space for two families but other than that cannot compliment any other aspect of the house. We rented both the main house and coach house and each house suffered from lack of upkeep. For the amount we paid in a weekly rental, it was a shame how there was no effort to maintain some type of care to the homes. The furniture was so old and covered in stains, both pull out couches in each home were not even usable and the couches were so dirty you would not want to use them. The walls all need to be repainted and covered in stains, floors all were still dirty despite housekeeping cleaning. Shower liners falling apart in bathrooms, dirty kitchen drawers and cabinets. The list could continue. Don’t have enough space. This rental was not worth the price of what we paid and would not recommend to others.

The screened in front porch was perfect for meals outside, well shaded enough for even the hottest days. The houses were well supplied with everything we needed. Our only real issue was the noise at night - fireworks and loud parties outside until well after midnight. We won't choose the week of July 4 again.

Loved the recent enhancements to the pool deck and cafe area. Our house was great but it’s getting a little run down (understandably considering the high usage). But we are wondering about the policy for homeowners to make updates. It’s about time based on the ages of many of the properties.

Fairly good stay

The house was not as clean as I would have preferred in this pandemic, but the house was clean. The grill at Shore Side was not working properly. Could not control the temperature, food burned (but could be the grillers fault?!)Screened porch was great, house was roomy and the lay out of the rooms was good. We had 16 people--12 adults and 4 kids. Loved the large dining table and the big kitchen to prepare our meals. Overall it was a great vacation!!!

Was "fixed" more than once but really was NOT fixed plus a toilet ran all the time. It also was "fixed" but wasn't!!! Found a condom wrapper in one room and a bottled water in another room.........not our's!!

We needed a house that didn't have stairs going up to it for my grandparents. This house was perfect for the amount of people in my family and gave us the space to eat/hangout all together. The location is farther from the beach, however the small lake was directly in front of our house. The employees were all very polite and took great care of any accommodations needed. Overall great stay- and we plan on doing this again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect for families with lots of activities to keep you busy! Eastern Shore was large enough for our family with plenty of space. The house was well supplied with all our needs (a crockpot would be nice). The house was brightly decorated and very comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed room and the area outside their room to play. We spent a lot of time on the porch. The house is located conveniently for all the Beachwalk amenities. However, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the floors when we arrived. We expected sand but the floors were very dirty and under the furniture in the main living space had not been dusted for some time. The Shore Side was musty smelling and several cobwebs throughout the house. Even so, we enjoyed the main house very much!
