EXCELLENT LOCATION! Just a few minutes to the beach/Zoo/Park, 3 minute drive to Blue Chip Casino, 5 minute drive to Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, 15 minute drive to Indiana Dunes National Park, and about an hour drive to Chicago or a train ride.
This home is in a quiet, safe, beach neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay here. Overall the place was just what we needed and met our expectations based on the listing. The walk to the beach with small children was fairly easy with a wagon.

Great Girls Getaway

A nice place to stay

The dune gras appartement is a nice, clean and cozy place to stay. Well maintained, you’ll find everything you need in it. The walking distance to Lake Michigan is really only 10 minutes and the beach is gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment

This was a great place for our family to stay while in Michigan City. It had everything we needed to have a pleasant trip and it’s a short walk to the beach. We brought our own but they even had some beach supplies available for guests to use if needed.

Great little weekend getaway house

Very cute house that was newly renovated. I felt so comfortable there, like I was in my own home. It had a great location! The host was wonderful to work with. I would like to stay here again.

Convenient access to the beach. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Located in a residential area so generally quiet, although there is another rental unit above this one. No dishwasher or garbage disposal. Excellent communication with rental agency. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house close to the beach

The house was perfect for me and my 2 sisters. The manager was very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly when needed. Beds were very comfortable. A short walk to the beach. Will definitely stay again.

This was a great rental that was in close proximity to the beach. It was just as described in the listing. We could hear the upstairs renters walking around at times. The host was very helpful when I needed some help. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cozy and near all attractions!

We stayed at this location and it was near the beach and all the main attractions. It is a nice and cozy apartment. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a home away from home. I also would like to state that Robin was very helpful and nice. Had a wonderful time with my family.

Perfect weekend getaway

Very impressed with how clean the condo was, fantastic kitchen utensils and amenities. Couldn’t have asked for an easier and pleasant stay with friends. We also used the backyard fire pit one evening with Adirondack chairs.

The condo was amazing, well equipped, close to the beach, and nice neighborhood. This is one our most favorite places we’ve stayed so far and that says a lot for as much as we travel! I highly recommend this condo to anyone. We did several beach days, ate breakfast at DuneBillies, dinner at Shoreline, visited the zoo, and took the train into Chicago. Such a great place and perfect spot close to everything! Met all our expectations and then some!

Cute, clean, close to the beach

We enjoyed our short stay in this updated, cute, and clean lower unit of a duplex in Michigan City. A short walk to beach, the unit has beach chairs, expandable wagon, sandcastle building kit, shovels!! Close to zoo and marina. Beds were comfortable and the unit has all the comforts of home.

It was nice on the inside but lacks curb appeal of other rentals in the area. Pretty well appointed and what we needed the property manager sent over immediately. I LOVED that they use free and clear detergent on the linens!

This cute duplex didn’t disappoint. It was very tastefully decorate. The location was really great. Short walk to the beach and close by the casino and places to eat. The bed was very comfortable. The duplex had everything we needed. There was noise upstairs when people were walking but it didn’t take away from our experience. Thank you!

Family Beach Vacation

Well equipped location perfect for a family of 6 within easy walking distance of beach. Had everything we needed for both staying and enjoying the beach. About an 8 minute walk to the beach from the house. Full kitchen and outdoor grill available. Laundry on premise to keep on too if dirty clothes. All communication from property manager was quick and responsive. Would absolutely stay again when we come back to Michigan City.

Great location!

Traveling with adults, teens and school age kids. Check in was a breeze. Newly remodeled and beautiful with comfy beds. We loved the minimalistic aesthetic (no tvs in bedrooms and no clocks other than microwave, but you're on beach time!) 3 min walk to beach access, 7 min to shoreline and this was with our 5 and 7 yo in tow. Walk back from beach includes an incline but you can pay to park at beach access ($15 at the time of our visit) if you prefer. Property manager was very responsive and easily met our needs and beyond. Everything we did was within a 5 mile radius (we loved the outlet mall and the jamaican restaurant close by). We will stay again, in fact we already have our next trip booked! I will note you can hear the guests walking around in the upper duplex, but we expected that and it did not disrupt our sleep.

Clean and Comfortable

This apartment was great for my husband, myself, and four teenagers for a long weekend visit. Very clean apartment with all the amenities. Having two full bathrooms was especially nice with six of us sharing the space. Quiet and charming neighborhood. This apartment is the lower level of a duplex. We could hear the guests on the 2nd floor sometimes, but they were never disruptive to sleep or anything at all. And the beach was beautiful and not too crowded, even for a holiday weekend. We never timed our walk to the beach, but other reviews have stated 7-8 minutes, which I would say sounds accurate. I can say that the walk is much closer than it appears it might be by looking at the map. Walking distance to the zoo and a short drive to the outlet mall, which we all enjoyed. The host was very friendly, but not much communication was needed as we had no issues. We would definitely stay again.
