We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for families with kiddos, plenty of activities at the house if you encounter a rainy day. Great spot on the lake, super convenient.

Amazing place to stay. Lots of room, great view, everything was clean and well stocked. Communication with the host was excellent. We really enjoyed fishing, kayaking, playing pool and poker. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property—was exactly as advertised! Kelly was very communicative and quick to respond to any needs or comments. There was no noise from neighbors, and the boat dock was helpful to have for our stay. The teens loved the pool table!

We've been 3 families staying over a long weekend.Check-in and the communication was very easy / efficientWe loved the space and all the outdoor activities including the large backyard with an open fire place leading to a boat ramp where the kids had a lot of fun riding the canoes We would love to come back in the future

Herons Rest was a wonderful place to stay for our vacation. The house is comfortable and clean and accommodated everything we needed. Close enough to everything around town and offered numerous opportunities for vacation fun inside and out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Heron’s Rest. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. The ladies really loved having a washer/drier upstairs and downstairs. The host was very quick to answer my texts. I would really recommend this place to anyone and we are for sure coming back.

Amazing Lakehouse for Big Groups

the property was very clean when we got there and it was a very comfortable stay for me and my friends. would definitely recommend for big groups looking for a getaway outside of Austin!

Ecellent Stay at the Lake!!

Our group consisted of 10 adults and 4 teenagers. We all had a great time! We enjoyed the upstairs porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. The kids loved the pool table, ping pong table, and kayaks We all had a blast playing cornhole together! The outdoor firepit was very relaxing at night. The place is super clean and the neighborhood was great. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Place for Boating & Jet Skiing

This is a great house that has a lift for a wakeboard boat AND two jet skis. Perfect for our family. We have stayed here three years in a row now. The only thing missing - STILL MISSING - is some shades on the upstairs main room windows so that you can watch a movie in the heat of the day and avoid the glare / reflection.

Better than a Marriot

This place was amazing! The accommodations were more than expected. It was so nice to relax by the fire, have a place to park the boat, and enjoy time with friends and family. We want to come back every year! It was well worth it!

The overall stay was very nice. You can tell the house has been remodeled recently. Everything was in great condition. The kitchen is stocked very well, you will find anything you may need. The bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels. The boat dock has two spots for jet skis which was perfect for the two we brought. It has two boat lifts. One had a boat on it already which I am assuming is the owners. On the other lift, a board had come lose and was floating when lowered all the way which would have been a problem for us to park our pontoon in if the host hadn’t got the repair technician out there the very next morning. It was repaired before the whole house was up and moving around. We were very impressed at the urgency in which they had it repaired and ready for us for the remainder of our stay. Do be aware that the ramp that butts up to the property stays locked. It is for the permanent residents in the neighborhood. It was not a problem though, there was a boat ramp less than A 1/4 mile down the street. We had just assumed from the pictures it was a private ramp that we could use. I highly recommend you stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice house

Very nice and well equipped house. You don’t need to bring anything. A lot of fun stuff available in the house and backyard to keep everyone busy.

Great House, Perfect Location

We had a group of Dads/Daughters for our annual trip and chose to stay close to home this year. We had a great time playing in the water and enjoying the house and huge yard with games and overall fun. The pictures definitely did the house justice and the bunk room for the girls was perfect. We also took advantage of the marina and restaurants close by for food and lake toys. Thanks again for the use of the house.

This house is great ! We enjoyed our stay. We were there when the Llano river flooded July 24, but we received great notification from VRBO and the neighborhood folks that guided us to protect our boat and the dock area. I'm thankful the area got needed rain and it was interesting to watch the river rise. But...it would've been nice for it to have waited a few days !! :)
