Love the Rooftocp Deck and Dive Bar

Everything was great. Houseboat was clean and functional. Folks at the marina were friendly and at night we met many locals at The Dive Bar. Good food and company by the fire, cornhole, friendly kids who live at the marina taught our son to fish and catch lobsters. Great time, we look forward to going back!

Beautiful Views and Amazing Hosts

We had our 3 children with us and everyone enjoyed their stay! The views were amazing from dawn until dusk. The staff and hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!!

Fun stay on the water

It was a fun few days on the water in a houseboat. Watching the sunsets and the surroundings from the top deck or back deck were a lot of fun. I would rent it again.

Great place to relax

Staying on a boat house was a first for us. We enjoyed it. The upper deck was great in the evenings to relax and see sunset or storm clouds rolling in. The beds were very comfortable. Over all, this was a great place and awesome experience. Would come back again.

Loved the house it was better than expected. Plenty of room for the 6 adults that stayed there. The dock workers were friendly and ready to help if any was needed.

The property was in a great location, great views and environment. Some areas that could improve is the lack of bedding, towels, the current bedding doesn’t fit the beds. There are some small upgrades to maximize the space but overall it was a unique experience.

Low key and relaxing

Overall the boat was very comfortable and well maintained. It had all the basics that you needed and plenty of room for the whole family. I thought we would feel cramped but it was just the opposite - lots more room than staying in a hotel! The roof deck sunrise and sunsets were to die for. The location was close to many parks and good spots for eating. We will be back!

Family lobster trip

I thought the accommodations were very nice. I was a little sad that there weren’t more pops, pans and cooking dishware. The two barbecue grills at the front of the marina were falling apart, and it made it very hard to cook in the evenings.

Hi, Thanks for the review. When I check guests in and do a walk through on the houseboat, I show where the pots/pans are stored and mention, "if you need anything, just ask. We may have it in housekeeping or there is a 'dollar store' located less then a mile from the resort" (we have sets of NEW pots/pans in housekeeping). As it relates to the BBQ grills, since we are basically out over 'salt water', then tend to corrode quickly. Unfortunately you where here near the end of there useful service. The next set of guests, will experience 'new' BBQ grills. That's how 'life in the keys' operates. I noticed you checked in on a Tuesday (my day off). I will make sure my collogues mention what I've stated above, when they check in a guest. Question: Were you UNABLE to cook in the houseboat or on the grill? THX, Mike

Winter escape.

Great location. The Manatee is a little tiered. Cupboard doors don’t stay closed...furniture cushions flat and a bit uncomfortable and the window in the salon leaks when it rains...but we had a great time. The staff is very helpful and Fun and Juice is a great place to relax at the end of the day! Will be back.

Boat house adventure

This was our first time staying in a house boat. We can now check that off our bucket list. The roof top deck and lower decks were excellent to get sun or shade. Their was plenty of parking. A/C worked well. If we had a negative- there was only 2 forks in the kitchen drawer. We had a great time.

Double booked

VRBO booked us with a place that was already booked and the property manager had to find us a place to stay which was too small but the only thing he had available. VRBO messed this one up according to the property manager. Will deal direct with this property in the future.

Oldie but goodie!!

Unique experience, would do it again!!! Boat needed a little TLC, maybe some handrails. Property bar only had beer and wine. No food. Light menu would have been ok. That was disappointing. But they’re transiting!!! Decks were great on boat. If you’ll have us back. We’ll c u soon.
