There are acts of God and there is only time to wait for service which is due to Hurricane overbooked. At this time everything is 100% working. A/C was optional per unit but at this time we changed availability to use it throughout all house. About masks it is absolutely lie because nobody was telling to take off their masks, it is pesrsonal think and everybody is responsible for own behavior. Thank you

I am shocked to receive this unrealistic, negative review from these guests so I’d like to clarify a few things. I received a last minute request to check in earlier, I told them that the group before them was leaving the same day and that I’d do my best to accommodate them. I said they could arrive at 3pm, and they arrived at 3:30pm. My pre-arrival information package states that they can check the house to make sure everything is in order and when I walked through the house with them, they did not complain about anything. The house had already been cleaned and just the last few beds were being made upstairs. They relaxed by the pool and some of the guests unpacked their groceries into the refridgerators. I switched on the A/C‘s and invited the children to play ping pong and pool, which they did and they were happy. They mentioned the house was super dirty but this is incorrect as you can see we handed the clean house over to them within a short period after their arrival. My pre-arrival package clearly states that the water is not drinkable, however I provide twelve 5 gallon drinkable water containers and a water fountain. All showers are in perfect order. We provide top quality linens and towels and the utensils are changed yearly. A cleaning service is provided once a week and I offerred if they wanted it everyday but they declined. I apologized for the slight delay and they then promptly asked for a discount which I could not justify. I walked them through the house and handed them 2 sets of keys, it was 4:10pm. Upon my departure I told them if they needed anything, I was just 10 minutes away and can help them anytime. They did not call me until the day before they left they asked for an iron, which I gave them within 20 minutes. If they needed anything prior to that, why did they not contact me earlier? I checked the house every other day and cleaned the pool, and have a security camera to show it. I asked them their departure time but they delayed to tell me and when I got to the house, the door was open, the lights and A/Cs were on and there were some damages. Food was left all over the kitchen. We strive to keep the house in the best shape possible and look forward to receiving more families in the future. We hope that VRBO will také this matter very seriously and be careful not to recommend this group to other home owners.
