Great Space For Fishing Group

This was a great clean house, perfect space for a group of fisherman. Plenty of room, the garage was a perfect hangout, and having two fridge/freezers was a huge benefit. Will definitely be making this our place to stay for future fishing trips.

The house was included with a lot of extra amenities most house rentals don't include. The house has 6 TVs to allow everyone in your group the opportunity to watch what interests them. The house also includes 2 refrigerators to hold plenty of food for your stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Great for a girl’s weekend! It was cozy, comfy, clean and decorated so cute! We had a fabulous time finding new places to eat and have cocktails in Port Clinton and Marblehead!

The house is so cute! Located on a canal off of the Portage River. The place was clean and so beautifully decorated. All of the beds were comfortable. We came for a family vacation with our boat. We have a 23 ft center console. The dock space was great would just add cleats. We did have to radio the railroad bridge to open to make it out to lake. Channel 14 for anyone else who may need that. The sign was hard to read. The garage space that is used for additional living area and game room was great for our family. We walked and rode bikes that were provided to Lagoon Saloon a couple of evenings. Great time! Great food! The community is very friendly. We watched the fireworks and they were spectacular. Cory and Brooke are very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Quick getaway!

We loved the property. Clearly the owners have updated everything - clean bedding and towels, clean kitchen etc. We loved the porch and the outdoor dining table and had a lot of laughs playing ping pong! Definitely will recommend!

Stay was very nice and convenient. The house was super clean and welcoming. Having the dock in back was a pleasant surprise. Our group came out for a walleye fishing trip and we fished off the dock in spare time. Caught a bunch of pretty good sized catfish, bass, and sunfish. Good time overall and good location.

Fishing trip at the cozy cottage

Our group of 6 came to port clinton for a fishing trip. The cozy cottage was the perfect place. The garage is a great place for the group to gather at night. Neighborhood was was wonderful and quiet. Hosts are great and communicate well. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended. The pics dont serve this house justice, its much nicer.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

We had an excellent experience staying at the Cozy Cottage. The home was clean, comfortable, fully stocked with everything we needed and close to everything Northern Shores has to offer. The beds were comfy, each room has a TV and the back deck overlooked the canal. Loved the ping pong table and extra fridge in the garage. Very quiet for a relaxing getaway. Brooke answered any question we had very timely and went out of her way to make our stay a 5 star experience. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great For Families or Boaters

This little home has fully maximized its space to accommodate plenty of people of all ages. The location was quiet, with restaurants and other conveniences available nearby in Port Clinton. The boat slip is great to have, although it does take 20-30 minutes to get out onto the open lake (be cautious when crossing from the bridge under Highway 2 to the railroad bridge, as there are no channel markers). The home is well-equipped with everything you need to cook or relax, and the huge driveway makes things easy for boat trailers or multiple vehicles. The finished garage offers extra space, and the fun touches like a ping pong table and giant connect four game were a cool surprise! Our group (five adults ages 40 to 81) and a toddler (age 2) had a terrific time, and we can heartily recommend this rental to others.
