We had a great time! The condo was perfect and had great access to the beach! Only downfall was the unaccounted cost of the bracelets they required. We were under the impression it was included in the price we paid not an extra cost. When trying to discuss with the host they just stopped responding.

I sincerely apologize for the delayed reply regarding your question about the bracelets. Due to a high volume of messages during check-in time, our follow-up was much slower than our usual standard. We always want our guests to have a smooth and stress-free arrival. To help prevent any surprises, we do include the details regarding the bracelet fees in the condo description and send text message reminders when a reservation is initially booked. However, I will certainly review our communication process to make sure all of our guests are fully informed and that these details are as clear as possible. It was a pleasure to host you, and we truly appreciate your feedback and your understanding. We would love to welcome you back for another great beach getaway in the future!

short stay but provided all we needed. All were extremely happy with provisions and area location. Much nicer actually than our Galveston stay last year for cheer competition! Thank you so much

Great place!

We loved our stay here! It was in a perfect location for us as we were visiting family in Port Isabel. The property is accurately represented, perfect living space for our family! We had 2 very minor issues. A light out in one of the bedrooms and there was a bit of a fruit fly issue. Both were addressed the day after we contacted maintenance. Fruit flies remained but it was not a huge deal and the light was fixed. Pool area is absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was beauitful and listed as the picture on the website. Had a great time. The only thing that we did not understand is why the game room closed at 5. We like to eat and head to the game room with our grandsons to play the available games so that was disappointing. Close enough to walk to the beach. thanks for letting us use your place

Wonderful staff perfect location

We saw a couple of bugs that would be very normal to see in the humid climate but we called and they came out right away and sprayed for us and we didn’t see any more bugs after that. The staff at this resort were all very friendly and very helpful. The location is a short walk to the beach and we went everyday hauling a wagon full of beach toys for our kids. The outdoor showers made it nice to clean up after our beach visits. The pool was wonderful. The game room was a nice place for a rainy day or to get some wiggles out. I did wish it was open later in the evenings though. It closes at 5. I would totally stay here again. The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to lift our wagon up the stairs to our condo patio. Due to the strict HOA rules we couldn’t leave it downstairs in the grass.

Customer Service/Cleanliness

Place was nice but poorly kept. I asked about a possible early check in because our friends/family had just flown in from Belgium. This was denied because the room was not ready and still needed to be cleaned. However, when we arrived, the condo seemed to still be cleaned. There were bugs that crawled in the restroom and kitchen walls. We found insects inside the refrigerator and floors were poorly mopped. When trying to get ahold of the contact shared via check in and contact info for 24 hour service. We could NEVER get ahold of anyone. We had to make multiple trips to the office because no one would answer our calls.

The condo itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained, including the pool area. We had four teens with us, and they enjoyed the amenities. There is a straight walk of about 2-3 city blocks to beach access, which was convenient. Location wise, the condo is on the very southern tip of the island, so it's quite a hike to get to most stores, restaurants and other stops of interest. We were flying in late in the evening, and were given a keyless entry code for access, so that was really convenient and easy. The only area I feel could use improvement is overall communication by the management company. Months before our arrival, I received a text advising that is how we would communicate. However, anytime I texted, I received no response. When I would call, they were able to see my texts in their "system", so I'm not sure why there weren't responses. We were given incorrect information about sports equipment available for checkout which caused us to waste money purchasing. There was also a fire alarm caused by a power outage on the island while we were there, and the 24/7 customer service line was entirely unhelpful so the fire dept came in and removed smoke detectors. Last, they give you only minimal items for your stay (1 garbage bag for kitchen). We ordered delivery of more supplies midway through our stay (they charge 15 delivery), and then we were missing items from what we ordered. I hope they're able to work those issues out in future.
