We are enjoyed our stay very much and love the layout of the house. The one thing I think would’ve made our stay better is to have access to some pool toys and beach chairs and possibly some games or activities for the kids on rainy days.

This home was beautiful and clean. The view was great. The pool was a nice addition and our grandkids loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

Great view from both sides, easy walk to the beach, and when the red flags are flying the pool makes up for it!

House was great! Only issues we had were needing to buy cooking utensils (which we cook a lot on vacation) and the door to the pool didn't lock for almost 4 of the 5 nights we were there. I messaged immediately about it on Monday and had to ask again on Thursday about it. Once I asked again someone finally came and fixed it. House was perfect location for our graduation trip!

This was our second visit to Dauphin Island, we have decided to make it our family vacation every year. With that said, we probably won’t rent this home again. We walked in, the floor was peeling up in every room except for bedrooms/bathrooms. We had to buy tape just to make it livable. The woodwork/ doors were filthy, refrigerator was dirty, ice maker didn’t work, couldn’t open crisper drawers, crumbs all around kitchen floor. Pool was so dirty. My husband went to sit down at the dining table, the leg on chair was broken, checked the rest and found more like that. Nails up everywhere on deck, and boards warped. My granddaughters were getting several splinters at a time. And yes, they wore shoes, but not getting in and out of the pool. It’s a good thing we are ready for anything, we packed tools to fix things, and cleaners to wipe down woodwork and refrigerator. The positive about the home, nice location, bedroom and bathrooms were very clean. I realize it was towards the end of season, but these things need to be checked after each rental. If all is fixed, a nice home.

House is nice a clean, and lots of space. Love that each room has a private bathroom, great for multiple couples or families as well as kids. Location was great with public beach access a very short walk away. I marked down cleanliness because the grill has a grease trap underneath that was apparently FULL when we arrived and caught fire. I dont mean a small fire, I mean the grill was basically engulfed, which not only destroyed 2 racks or ribs, but obviously poses a huge hazard sitting on a wooden deck and next to the propane tank. The propane tank was empty when we arrived, but we called it was replaced very quickly. Also the pool walls are kindof grungy and need to be scrubbed. The water was clean though. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pans, but no dish drainer or strainer which seem like staple kitchen items. Absolutely minimal starter kit provided (1 dish washer and 1 laundry pod, no pool or beach accessories like towels that you find at many beach rentals), so bring EVERYTHING with you. Overall, great for our stay and would recommend again.
