This was such a great family vacation house . I loved that every bedroom had their own bathroom and the living space was all down stairs. Having our own pool was the best part . It was perfect .

Only issue was I think the dryer needs to be serviced it took a couple cycles to dry everything other than that no issues at all and very cleaned and maintained.

House was attractive and as described. Complaint was about no curtains to reduce intense morning sunlight. Gate latch did not work well from inside. Amenities were excellent.

We had an amazing time staying at the Blue Lagoon. The house was beautiful, our family gathered from Louisiana , Texas and California to spend the week together. Thank you for providing memories that will last a life time!

Great house for a vacation in Destin!

The property matched the online description. It's nicely decorated with a modern theme. Only drawbacks were one bathroom shower did not get hot water, and a yard maintenance worker came and was doing things outside and blowing some debris into pool. We feel that stuff should not be done when guest are there. Other than that any other minor issue (i.e. broken tv) was rectified quickly.

We do have a scheduled pool clean on day of arrival and mid week to make sure that the amenities are kept clean. We are glad you enjoyed the property and would love a chance to get a 5 star review. Nice place. Is as advertised. The only thing I took issue with was their grill out by the pool. A safety concern that has potential to cause serious consequences. I noticed that this grill was heavily criticized in several reviews prior to booking. I reached out to Travel Life to see if anything had been done with it. Their response was that they inspect it every week, it’s good, and to contact them if any issues arise. Fast forward to our visit, it was apparent that this thing hasn’t been inspected in a long time. All the flame/gas plumes are completely rusted out to the point there is not much left. The uneven heating of the grill was an issue that should have been caught, especially after all the complaints about it. The more damaging issue with this grill is far more dangerous. Old grease has built up inside of the degraded plumes, and hasn’t been cleaned out in a very long time if ever. Major risk of a grease fire that has the potential to injure renters, and cause significant property damage. I’m currently looking into an outside entity(Fire Marshall) to help resolve this, only because Travel Life doesn’t appear to be willing to address it. ……btw, one of the video games doesn’t work. Either have the games working, or don’t advertise them.

Excellent choice!

The place was very nice. It was as pictured and described. Everything was in working condition. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and it looked like new. I had to report a little damage we caused, and the management was extremely nice, professional, and helpful. The location was perfect. It was a short drive in the golfkart to the street that you cross and onto the beach. There were 19 of us and lots of room. we loved having our own room with our own bathroom as each room had its own bathroom. We watched fireworks from our balcony that took place on the beach. Having a swimming pool there made the downtime for our seven kids under 10. Have a great time. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay there again.

Amazing vacation with a large group...

This house is beautiful! All of the bedrooms are the perfect size along with the bathrooms. Having the golf cart was key!!! It's too far from the beach to carry all of your things back and forth. The pool is the perfect size and has the right amount of lounge chairs. A few things to consider are: a 5:00 pm check in time is way too late especially when you need to unpack, go to the store, and cook your first dinner. There are not nearly enough pots and pans when you are trying to cook for 20 people in the house. The 3rd floor might benefit from removing the video games and adding a couch so there is another sitting/TV area in the house. The light in the 3rd floor sleeping area is very large and people bonk their head getting in and out of the top bunk. These are 100% just our suggestions to the owner, not to be posted on any social media. We LOVED this home and would stay here again. :)

Everything was very nice and pretty accurate to description. Although, It was a bummer to hear that we couldn't cook any seafood inside the house itself 30 minutes prior to arriving. That wouldn't be a big deal except there was no propane the first day we got there. Also, more importantly, for the cost of the place, the grill that is provided is subpar (at best). I've seen nicer grills provided at public parks. Secondly, the refrigerator for that size of housing is extremely small so plan on making daily trips if you want to cook for a larger group. Again, everything was beautiful and well described, but for the cost we paid I was expecting something more. Overall, we all had a great time and memories were made. Thanks to the owners and everyone that made our trip accommodating. We absolutely LOVE Destin!!!!
