The Little Red Cottage - Ideal for long stays!

Beautiful, peaceful, Lake adjacent property, Less than fifty steps from the porch to the lake (shared access). Enjoy picturesque lake views from your lounge, kitchen, and porch. The high end mattresses (Endy) provide a beautiful night's sleep (in every room). There is plenty of backyard space for playing, entertaining, and outdoor dining. BBQ and firepit on-site. Alternatively, take a short walk downtown and visit Fenelon Falls' shops, restaurants, Lock 34, the waterfall, or walk to a full lounge and play beach. Why not bring your boat, there's plenty of space on the drive! You can easily carry your board, kayak, or floating flamingo to the water. The spacious backyard is perfect for games, or relaxing by the fire pit. It's only a ten to fifteen minute walk downtown (no need to find a parking spot), or to the beach. The recently renovated space is generously stocked with tools, utensils, and gadgets for the kitchen, and a library with books and games for adults and children. The interior of this space is thoughtfully decorated. This space is perfect for longer stays!

The property was just as it looked in the pictures. Quiet location close to amenities. Very clean and well presented, Cozy and close to the lake.

The property is GORGEOUS! A boat is needed, there isn’t much of a beach but the home itself is gorgeous.

Absolutely Perfect.

We ended up spending more at The Little Red Cottage than expected simply because it was such a lovely spot. The large front porch and back deck were perfect for lounging and conversation. The inside was immaculate and well stocked. I loved that the kitchen knifes were actually sharp, there was extra toilet paper provided, there were lots of towels (beach towels and bath towels) and the mattresses were new and comfortable - no big valley in the middle! I highly, highly recommend this spot. And Fenelon Falls is adorable with good restaurants.

Fenelon Falls, a village in Ontario, Canada, is part of the city of Kawartha Lakes, and nicknamed the "Jewel of the Kawarthas." There is an eclectic mix of antique stores, gift shops, coffee houses, health and wellness services plus fine dining restaurants, steps from Lock #34 on the Trent-Severn Waterway. The beach park boasts green spaces, splash pad, sand beach and playground for a full day of fun and relaxation. Take in the picturesque lake views and countryside from our multi-use Victoria Rail Trail, accessible year round. There are so many things to do and see in and around Fenelon Falls.

The best part is, you're still just a ten to fifteen minute walk into town, or to the beach. Also, the cottage is lake adjacent. You're steps away from water access, where you can drop your kayaks, or paddle boards. We're 'lake adjacent', meaning you get all the benefits without paying 'lakefront' prices.
