I rented this property for the pool but upon arrival the pool was dirty, green, and not usable. Communication with contact person was great but the pool was not restored in time for it to be used at all. They refunded “fifty percent” but that didn’t include all the extra fees so it was not actually half off the total price. Very disappointing. Further, some of the flooring was unsuitable and dangerous. The front room had hardwood that was broken and damaged to the point of being a safety concern. I had to struggle with my kids to make them wear at least socks to help prevent injury/splinters. One night during our stay it rained and the decorative fireplace in the bedroom lets water in - drip drip dripping all night, very loud because it was dripping onto metal. Overall, very disappointed in this property itself as well as the minimally adequate refund for all the issues we encountered.

check in was lock box simple when entering home strong smell of cleaning detergent upon inquiring the cleaning supplies were a combination of muratic acid, cyanuric acid and calcium chloride very over powering, The pool was dirty and had frogs mating in it, contacting the mgmt co they said the pool cleaning co was on its way, There is a tenant in the outbuilding exactly next to pool which makes the pool not private the tenant apparently just is not allowed to use pool and would have to keep blinds closed while occupying the out building to give guest privacy, there were no cushions on pool furniture, it was dirty and the yard was unkept. The property is an older property. It is not a highly recommended property unless you do not want to use pool and so not have issue with the smell of acid or want privacy while in the back yard. We did not stay at property, refund was issued minus one night and cleaning fees, vrbo would not issue any further refunds for fees. We literally were in the hours for 30 minutes and 25 minutes were used to try to get refund and find another place to stay.

We appreciate you highlighting the simple lockbox check-in process. We apologize that your stay did not meet expectations and for the issues you encountered with the pool. Heavy rain in Pensacola temporarily brought in outdoor wildlife right before your arrival, but we immediately sent out our pool maintenance company to resolve it. Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each guest, though we are looking into the cleaning products used to ensure the scent isn't overpowering. While we try to keep the outdoor area pristine, Mother Nature can occasionally affect it between cleanings. To clarify for future guests, our listing explicitly notes that a long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate building with no access to guest areas. We use professional cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure the home is ready for arrival, and Evolve is available 24/7 to assist in real-time.

Quaint property with nice pool. A/C struggle d to keep up with the July heat but it never got uncomfortable inside. Pet friendly and was able to keep my dog contained in the yard but it took additional measures to keep one gate from staying open. Gate could use some repair. Ran dishwasher on the last day but it wasn't draining so dishes didnt get clean. Would rent again.

The property was exactly as described. Older charming house with hardwood floors. The pool was clean and nice and there was a swing on the front porch which was pleasant in the evenings. The house is ideally located and the host had some great suggestions for dinners and activities.

Different cars and trucks parked on side of property. Found a person on the property that was in the shed and seems that someone stay on property on second floor up top of shed by the pool.

As noted in our listing description, a long-term tenant resides on-site in a completely separate pool house building with no access to the main home or guest spaces. The vehicles mentioned belonged to our scheduled maintenance teams who visit periodically to keep the grounds and pool in top shape.
