‘On Island Time’ is on the 2nd floor of the South Building. The condo has an OCEAN VIEW PRIVATE balcony accessible by the living room & the Master Bedroom. The views are absolutely breathtaking. From the beautiful sunrises to the romantic full moons, they do not disappoint. OBX is known for their astonishing sunsets which you can enjoy from your front balcony.
While vacationing at ‘On Island Time’ we provide the linens (bath & bedding) for your condo by an independent vendor. Your beds will be made when you arrive, YOU’RE ON VACATION!!!

Beautiful property with the perfect view in the absolutely right neighborhood. Either having coffee on the patio or watching TV with the fireplace, it was a perfect relaxing getaway for our family.

Totally pet and people friendly! The property managers and the owners are all wonderful - helping to get us settled in, and making sure all was well. And it was! The condo is comfortable, attractive, and welcoming. Amazing view from the balcony - didn't miss a sunrise! Can catch the sunset, too, from the front balcony. I love the Outer Banks - have for many years. I'll be back to stay here at Pier View next year. Thank you.

Location of the property was excellent. The luggage lift didn't work very well, but we had no problem carrying ours up to the second level location. The building is older and could use a little sprucing up. The decor of the condo was great, and beds were comfortable. I was less than impressed by the cleanliness of the condo. Upon moving the ottoman we found a pile of crushed up goldfish crackers which were not from us. There is a sweeper in the unit which I used to sweep this as well the rug and under the rug. Under the rug there was so much sand you couldn't see the flooring and I also noticed there was a large amount of sand, goldfish crackers, pop bottle caps, and a hair tie under the couch as well. I move the couch and swept these materials up as well. The medicine cupboards in the bathrooms were not clean either and had toothpaste residue in them. There was an odd smell in the master bathroom which I found was A LOT of black mildew or mold on the outside of the tub right next to the toilet. I did text the owners about the lack luster cleaning issues, that nothing needed addressed as I had swept up, but just so they we aware as I would like to be notified if I was in their position. I never received any response or acknowledgement from them. I would advise doing a thorough cleaning inspection upon arrival and have the owners take care of having someone come out to correct them if needed. I would stay in this complex again, but would look into a different unit

We have enjoyed our stay at Pier View. It was very quiet and relaxing. The location was central to restaurants and shopping. The only negative was no elevator. As a older couple the stairs were somewhat of a struggle.

Adorable Condo

The condo was beautifully decorated and had a great view of the beach! We were able to catch the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The owners were quick to respond and Mike and Lisa, the local caretakers were very sweet and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Good location - condo needs updating

The condo is dated and needs major maintenance and updates. Plumbing fixtures were in poor condition especially in master bath. Leaking and loose. Also cleanliness is questionable. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The fridge leaks rusty moisture into bin drawers.

Wonderful stay in the OBX! Cute place, well decorated, wonderful balcony.

We spent the week in this cute, two bedroom apartment right on the beach. It has a nice big patio with chairs so you can sit and look out over the ocean and watch the moon rise. I was never up early enough to see sunrises, ha ha! If you leave the sliding glass doors open, you can hear the ocean at all times. Very peaceful. The place is well decorated and has everything you need to stay for the week. We appreciated the comfortable beds, big comfy couch, large TVs, and the decor. This place is centrally located, easy access to beach, food, pretty much anything you need in the Outer Banks. There's plenty of parking. FYI, this unit is located on the second floor, but there is parking underneath the building which means it's actually located on the third floor. There's no elevator, so there are two flights of outdoor stairs you need to go up. They do have a little electric dumbwaiter that helps bring your luggage and groceries up to the second level which is very helpful. Erika, the owner, was an absolute joy to deal with. She was super responsive and bent over backwards to make our stay a good one. We appreciated her most of all. I highly recommend this place, and would gladly stay here again.

The unit was fairly clean. It had most everything we needed. The ceiling in the unit was peeling and falling onto the ground. We were given 4 towels for our family of 5. The proximity to the beach and things we wanted to do was good. The building had a lot of deferred maintenance. Rust stains, peeling paint, concrete was crumbling and the walkway to the beach wasn’t draining properly.

Relaxing beach trip

We had a wonderful time in Nags Head and the condo was great! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. My kids liked the luggage lift. Lol made it easy for taking things to the 2nd floor. The beach wasn't crowded and we had the pool to ourselves a couple days. Love being close to the grocery store and restaurants. We will definitely be back next year!

April at OBX

Great location and pretty good views of the ocean (although I expected that we would be closer). Easy access to the beach. Faucets in primary bath are very tight to turn on and off and may soon not work. The primary bath exhaust fan needs to be replaced. Could use more silverware. Disappointed that the dishwasher had not been run when we arrived, but otherwise the condo was clean and well-equipped. Requested a replacement sheet and it was delivered promptly. Very comfortable accommodations overall, with everything we needed. Great proximity to restaurants, Manteo, Bodie Lighthouse, Duck Doughnuts, grocery stores. Appreciated the many hooks and hangers in the bedrooms. Spent much of our stay on the roomy deck! Loved the pirate ship for kids to play on!
