The communication for arrival was basically nonexistent. I had to contact VRBO to contact the host. I have rented a lot of VRBOs over the years and I normally hear from the host as soon as I reserve. I always receive a message a few days ahead of the stay with arrival information and always get entry instructions the day before or early on the day of arrival. So that set the tone for the entire stay. I assume this host is inexperienced. The unit is dingy and not kept in the best condition. There is lots of dirt on the walls where the A/C blows air on them. This is because the filter is absolutely filthy. We hope we don’t get sick from this experience and stayed out of the unit as much as possible. It is just not a relaxing place to stay. There is a lot of noise from the upstairs and a lot of building noise that is unexplainable. I would not waste time on this unit as there is much better inventory in old town Scottsdale.
