Great condo, if you don’t have kids

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful, right near a pool and close to the beach. I stayed there to celebrate my daughters first birthday. Unfortunately the lady who lives in the condo underneath this one is the rudest and most u pleasant human. Me and the family arrived at 430pm and was unpacking and she came up 10 mins of us being there and threatened to call security on us if we don’t keep our kids off the floor because she can hear them walking. I don’t recommend this condo if you plan on walking on the floor. She ruined the trip. I wish I knew about that before booking with my two kids.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the money this place is amazing! What a great “old Florida” style of resort. Close to the beach, five pools to choose from. Loved Ricks Sand Trap for lunch while we were at the beach. Lots of activities on site. Just a really fun experience . We are returning in May because we loved it so much.

Location was as described overlooking golf hole 8 and the canal. Pools were clean and used them each night after a long day of activities and beach. Bed was comfy and amenities as described. Convenient to have washer and dryer in unit when you come home with wet swimsuits. Staff was nice and answered all questions or concerns. Being right across from the beach with own private access is much nicer than driving to public access locations. Did not want to leave! Will be back!

We did have to rent the beach chairs/umbrella I thought came with the price but not a big deal. The front storm door was jammed when we got there, we reported it , they fixed it right away. There is a carpet strip missing in the bedroom to the hall. I put a towel down over that, I wasn’t there to inspect & complain, a washer/dryer was convenient! Overall great time there in the condo. I love Destin! I love a private beach! Sandpiper Cove is perfect for us ! From the front gate to the office check in to maintenance guys & the cleaners you are all GREAT ! My kind of people! Hats off to you!

Where do I begin? Staying in this condo was a Waste of Money!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything in this condo needs updating! Start with removing the nasty carpet in the bedroom. The tile floors need a deep cleaning and regrouting. The furniture smelled nasty! Broked glass window, missing screen door on sliders leading to the deck. When opening the kitchen cabinets, the top scrapes the drop down ceiling.

Great Property in a Great Location

My husband and I had a great time at this property. The property was very clean and quiet and the property office had a very friendly and professional staff. Great location with only a short drive to great restaurants and night life. I highly recommend this property!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd winter in this condo and we enjoyed our stay. It is well stocked and the view is great, looking over the canal and hole #8. Always a hub of activity. The condo itself is tired and needs to be updated. The floor is spongy in places, furniture worn and very soft. The chairs at the counter are too big for the space and you keep bumping into them or the dining chairs to get by. The fridge is very loud whenever it is cooling and in the bedroom where the laundry is, everytime some other condo flushes...you hear it echo in the pipe, sometimes quite loudly. The deck is worn and boards are loose in places. The deck furniture is not for lounging in...2 stools, 1 table and some plastic chairs that are cracked and unstable. I would consider staying there again, if it ever got updated. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with back issues.

Beware, this condo is not being kept up.

Reviewer Comments: The decore is very nice but both of the ceiling fans did not work; The ice maker did not work; The fridge compressor is extremely/intrusively loud when it kicks on; Electrical outlet cover in the bedroom was just laying on the ground not covering the outlet. The entire condo could use a re-fresh paint job. At the time of my check out is when I reported all of the above and the rep said I should have called these things in when I got there.... I told him that I didn't want to deal with maintenance issues and people coming and going while on my vacation.... Check other reviews, I'm not the first to have this sort of experience with this condo. This condo should have been A1 working order for the prices we are paying to stay there. One last thing, the bed is not a queen bed... it is just a full... so just know that. We will never stay at Condo 2033 again. Sandpiper Cove is a very nice community but the rentals are hit and miss. Don't just go by what the pictures look like, read all reviews.... Goodluck

Some repairs requested

The fan in the living room did not work nor the TV in the bedroom. We reached out to management and they fixed the TV issue, but not the fan. Otherwise it was a nice place and location.

Nice condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this unit. It overlooked the golf course and the canal. It got full sun all day, which is great in the winter time. Inside was very comfortable and cleaner than other units we have had in the past. Well stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and it was a bonus to have the washer/dryer unit. The only downfall was no deck chairs to sit on and read a book. There is a table and hard as rock stools, but that was it.
