We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was super clean and a great spot. The beach was a bit of a walk, but doable. Everything was comfortable and easy and we felt right at home. There was also a lot to do nearby with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to check out, so we were never bored. Overall, a great spot and we definitely come back.

We’ve rented this condo multiple times, and as always, it did not disappoint. The condo is beautiful, always meticulously clean and very well-equipped. The marsh view and its breathtaking sunsets are spectacular!! Its proximity to both the beach and downtown Charleston can’t be beat. The hosts are wonderful to deal with, and we look forward to staying here again and again.

Incredible place!!

I am so thankful that I found this gem on VRBO. The condo and the host are wonderful. We enjoyed the location, the peaceful atmosphere and the condo is amazing being very clean and everything you need to make your stay great. I give this place if I could over 5 stars! I will definitely be back !

Great place!

Family vacation for five adults. Linda was very communicative and made sure check-in went smoothly and we settled in nicely. Plenty of space for lounging and sleeping. Loved sitting on the balcony just taking in the views and getting some pool time in! Liked that it wasn’t directly in town, but close enough we could easily head there for dinner.

Beautiful view. Sunsets were gorgeous. Beds are very comfortable and decor is beautiful. Everything has been updated, and the pictures don’t do it justice. I could have spent the entire trip sitting on the screen porch. You get the best of both worlds. Super close to the beach and Folly Island’s cute little downtown, and an easy half hour drive into Charleston. Condo was fully stocked with anything you could need including binoculars to watch the wildlife. We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to the Charleston area.

Friendly Folly Beach Town

A beautiful home with peaceful views of the water, boats, and wildlife. The home is beautiful, updated, and has everything you need. Just a short ride to the beach and the pool wad wonderful for the kids. The communication was excellent and provided all the details needed. Folly is a special place to visit!

Great Stay on Folly Beach

We had a wonderful experience staying at Linda’s property. The view was amazing and the unit was clean and had everything we needed. She was also so helpful answering questions we had about the area. We would stay here again for sure!!

Best decorated

This home was so charming and comfortable. The host was the best and so helpful. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!!

We spent 15 years exploring where to purchase a vacation home that may some day become our retirement home. We purchased our vacation home in 2013. Since then we continue make updates and improvements. New linens and towels are continuously replaced for our guests.

Folly Beach offers the location to 'check all our boxes' ...gorgeous beach, boating, Charleston history and shopping. Tourist love it! Yet Folly is a quiet, quaint bohemian town where locally owned resturants and great music venues are found on every corner and side street!

Every season offers festivals and celebrations in Folly and Charleston. From January to December we find plenty to do!! Check out the calendar of events on line.

Folly is located only 5 hours from our home in TN so we can visit often!! But choosing this condo to buy was all about falling in love with the views!!!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Definitely the spectacular views and quiet porch!
9 mile drive into historical Charleston!

We enjoy cooking seafood while we are in Folly and have found that Crosby's Seafood (10 minutes down the road) has the best fresh seafood to buy. Harris Teeter is just minutes away) has affordable lobster and crab legs that they will cook ahead for you to pick up and take to the condo for dinner!

Children of all ages love the swimming pool which is the largest pool on Folly. Very clean with convenient bathrooms. They also may love to go to the Water Park on James Island, the climbing ropes course or to the children's attractions in Charleston.

We enjoy driving over to the Mt. Pleasant/Sullivan's Island area (less than 20 minutes away) to visit Ft. Moultrie. You may enjoy eating at one of the many great restaurants on Shem's Creek while watching the boats go by.

Our favorite place to be on the beach is near the Pier. There are clean bathrooms, nice restaurants, an outdoor bar at Tides hotel, life guards, beach chairs and jet skis to rent, etc.

At the condo, we have an owner's dock where you might like to meet people while sitting in the evening watching for the dolphins to swim by. You can also leave crab traps hanging off this dock for later harvest! There is an easy launch area for kayaks and canoes for paddling around the river and nearby creeks. You may bring your own or rent knee boards or windsail vessels. If you bring your boat just let me know ahead and we can arrange a place to park the trailer. You can also find boat rentals in our notebook of information at the condo.

Of course you could enjoy riding your bikes or rent for the week. we love to ride to the beach, on the beach and in the neighborhoods on the island.

Whatever you do...don't miss the lighthouse walk on the nature beach at the end of Folly Beach. And of course save time to RELAX on our porch!!!
