I spent 37 days at this apartment and truly felt at home. The host, Ingrid, was very welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The apartment is conveniently located near all the major attractions in Barcelona.There was a minor leaking issue during my stay, but Ingrid promptly sent plumbers to fix it, her responsiveness was much appreciated. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, making for great rest after long days of exploring. That said, light sleepers should be aware that the master bedroom faces the street, and Barcelona never really sleeps. A good pair of earplugs can help, and the blackout curtains make the room cozy and inviting for a restful night.The apartment was well-equipped with all necessary kitchen and cleaning supplies; I only needed to purchase personal items. As other reviews mentioned, the second bedroom opens to a hall but becomes private when you close the door leading to the guest area. This setup worked perfectly fine for my family, and privacy was not an issue.Parking is available but not included in the rental price. We chose to use the parking spot offered by the host, and it was very convenient.Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place in Barcelona with an excellent host.

Barcelona Stay

The property was situated in an excellent location one block from the major shopping district and close to all attractions. There were some minor issues but Ingrid took care of most of them pretty quickly. My only concern is that there was no elevator and upon our arrival we had to carry our 10 suitcases up two flights of stairs. Also the ad states that the unit sleeps 6 which in essence is correct if two people sleep on the couch. The unit has one full or Queen size bed in the master and one twin bed in each of the two smaller rooms. Apart from all that the stay was wonderful the host was great and the apartment was practical and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Under construction

The apartment building is under construction!!! We were not aware of that upon arriving and when we open the windows they are all covered with plastic. Two of the windows opened to construction workers working directly in front of us. The apartment is in a great location otherwise and it was clean. Kitchen has everything you needed. The owner is also not very responsive and takes a while to respond.

Comfortable Stay in Barcelona

This is a nice apartment in a good location. The sofa is the star of the show, it's huge and fits several people comfortably, definitely my favorite part of the apartment. The laundry machines, dishwasher, & A/C are good also. I was happy and very comfortable here. Having said that, this place is definitely not for everyone. The door/wall to the toilet bathroom in the master bedroom is glass, and the shower in the guest bathroom opens by sliding door directly to the hall. There's also no place to hang a towel in the shower, so you'll be stepping out into the hall naked. The property is listed as "sleeps 6" people, but realistically there's no way you could fit more than 4, as the two additional beds are far too small for even two children. The building seems to host a lot of other short term rentals with a lot of people coming and going, it seemed almost every day a few tourists were trying to get in, just pushing every button on the door buzzer until someone let them in, and many times people knocked on the door lost looking for their apartment. Finally, I booked six months in advance and provided our arrival information a week before we arrived. With less than 24hrs the host informed us there was an extra charge for late checkin according to "house rules" that must be paid on arrival in cash. I never got a copy of these "house rules" at any point.

Live the Center of Barca

We hadden niet heel mooi weer de eerste dagen maar juist omdat het appartement zo luxe, geriefelijk en cozy was ingericht, hebben we ons prima vermaakt. Het was een superfijne week!!

Great stay, highly recommended

I was here for an extended period of time so I was able to make the property really feel like my home. Overall, the location and quality of this apartment are hard to beat. Everything is walking distance, I never needed to use the metro. The design and quality of the furniture is great, well thought out. The couch is extremely comfy, and the addition of a large Yamaha speaker is quite nice. The large windows and small balconies are wonderful to leave open for the day. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you would need to cook, including food processor ect. There is a combo microwave/oven, the oven function is a bit strange so don't expect to bake anything extravagant. The stovetop works great, there is also a dishwasher which is rare for Barcelona. The master suite is lovely, has front facing windows. You don't get much noise from the street due to single lane traffic and mostly pedestrian foot traffic. The restaurants close decently early so after 23:00 or so there are few disturbances, and there are double curtains for blocking the light. The shower head is one of the best I've had in a rental. Plenty of storage space. The other two guest rooms have only single beds, and are quite compact. They are facing the interior and are very quiet and good for sensitive sleepers. They have their own shared bathroom which doubles as the guest bath and the laundry room. The laundry is a combination washer drier unit, and was easy to operate, though I needed to iron most of the clothes I sent through the wash. Again, overall this was a lovely stay I really enjoyed my time here and I would recommend it to friends. I travel often to Barcelona and am hoping to stay here again in the future! Happy I was able to find it.
