Beachy Keen


Perched on the corner of a quiet residential street in central Lincoln City, Beachy Keen is a clean, bright solution to your need for a fun stay on the Oregon Coast! This one-story home has a spacious great room with beautiful hardwood floors and lots of extra light, thanks to skylights throughout. Watch the large wall-mounted flat screen Cable TV/DVD and enjoy the inset gas fireplace from a trio of comfy couches. The fully equipped and updated kitchen has an island with seating, stainless appliances, and a gas range, plus glass tile and modern lighting. A large dining room seats six. The pretty bedrooms include a queen suite, a queen and two twins, with an additional full bath in the hallway.

There’s a lot to love outside, too—one block to the east, the lively shopping and entertainment district of Oceanlake gives you walking access to an old-fashioned movie house, a bakery, bars and restaurants, Prehistoric, a bookstore and a host of antique and novelty shops. To the west, you’re two-and-a-half blocks to a paved, sloped beach access and miles of sandy beach. Hop in your car and you’re ten minutes to entertainment at the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Whether you’re staying put for a walking vacation or day-tripping up and down the coast, Beachy Keen is a fun, convenient spot for enjoying time away!

Overall its a really nice house with excellent location. The AC might need maintenance it was too slow and house got really hot the AC could not keep up. Wish there was internet too i know it was well stated that there was no internet but during these times its a must. Otherwise everything was great. We enjoyed out stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Beachy Keen, great location & very well equiped with extra blankets, towells, dishes, pots & pans. I would recommend taking any spices, oil or anything you will need for cooking. We had a small gltch, which was taken care of quickly.It would have been nice to have internet.

Beachy Keen

My daughter and I stayed at Beachy Keen for 4 nights. Our stay was very pleasant, your decor was very calming. Beds were quite comfortable. We’re thinking about possibly staying there in the near future. However, I would definitely consider changing a few things. Most importantly, WIFI. That was very frustrating having to use my daughter’s hotspot was iffy at best. Without it I had no search capabilities at all. Secondly buy a keurig coffee maker or another brand. Most everyone would be happier being able to make a single cup of their choice rather than a whole pot of coffee. My daughter ended up buying a mini keurig (wasn’t cheap).

Great house and perfect Lincoln City location

This house was wonderful. The location is great for walking to the beach, shops, restaurants. Beds were super comfy, everything was clean and we had a great time. Neighbors are very friendly too. One nice man gave us a Tupperware full of fudge.

Tons of Beach Decor, Lumpy Beds

Unable to change rating. I would give 4 stars due to the beds being lumpy and the upper section of my shower needed to be cleaned. Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and Lincoln City. Good location foe our group who came for an event at Chinook Winds Casino. The house has tons of beach decorations. The theme is almost everywhere. I founs everything i needed to cook with in the kitchen which is great.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beach theme throughout the house was great. We were always able to find what we needed because of the extra thoughtful gestures. Very short walk to the beach and shopping. We would stay here again.

House was amazing

Pros: -Beautiful home, very lovely beach decorated -Wooden floors, makes for easy sweeping of sand. -sky lights throughout the house for great natural lighting. -Lots of fridge space and freezer space for guests' food -fans in each room. The fan and the light are controlled by a remote. It's great for lying in bed and using the remote. -Bathrooms were very clean. A backup shampoo and conditioner were provided -2 brooms, and a vacuum were provided, making it easier to keep the home clean. -The entire house is filled with more pillows than you know what to do with. -Couches and beds were comfortable. - Children's room (the room with the 2 beds) had lots of pillows. We had to move one mattress on the floor because the bed frame had the bed too high for my 2-year-old. The excessive pillows made for a great barrier to stop heads from bonking on the bed. Cons: -Not enough storage space in the kitchen for guests supplies. Every cupboard is full of dishes. And there are multiple kinds of the same dish. (Multiple sets of plates, cups, bowls.) If the owners tossed the second/third set, there would be space for guests' food. As of right now, the only space available is in the fridge. - Hot water for the shower barely lasted 30 minutes, and never made it above "luke warm". Bathing kids and I was made to be a very speedy task. - No backyard or fenced yard. Which wasn't a big deal. -No Wi-Fi. But they do have a Blue Ray/DVD player. Guests should prepare by bringing their own DVD's.

Family Trip

This was our 2024 Dad and Daughters Trip. Ages 54-85. We had a WONDERFUL stay! SO quiet yet so close to everything we wanted. Amazing folks next door! We are already thinking of when we can come back. While we did not have any kids with us this place is set up for ANY age group. Del;ighted to have found this gem!

Cute and cozy!

The decor was so welcoming and we loved the cozy fireplace. Great floor plan and plenty of towels and blankets, and lots of dishes, pots and pans and even a toaster oven. The appliances looked new. We were disappointed in no TV availability and no internet. Also, the beds were not comfortable so I recommend getting new mattresses. Thank you!

Satisfied Overall But Room For Improvement

We enjoyed our stay and the listing is accurate in terms of space, decorating (very beachy vibe) etc, although the home could use a good deep cleaning and perhaps housekeeping could provide a more detailed cleaning after each use. The table in the living room had rings from where the last guests had put their glasses and crumbs were left as well. The blinds throughout the house were dusty and need attention. The hallway bathroom vent had dust hanging from it as well. If you are planning to cook food, bring a box or something to store the items that don't need refrigerating because there is no pantry or cupboard in the kitchen to put them in. All of the cupboards are filled with dishes & pots & pans, which isn't a bad thing but it would be nice if they could designate a cupboard for food. We used the kitchen table because there was only 2 of us and we used the island for eating. The bed in the master bedroom isn't great. They need to upgrade the mattress or put a pillow top on it. Zero support. This home has NO WIFI, which isn't a super big deal, but it would have been nice to have, since the TV only gets a few channels, so being able to stream a movie from a laptop would've been nice. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and super close to the beach, and main street for restaurants and shopping.The garage to the home is very small, if you have a small car, like maybe a Prius or something similar, you might be able to fit.
