This beautiful 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 story oceanfront home located on the boardwalk is a remarkable hideaway with a king-size bed, en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and a private balcony featuring seating for two and panoramic ocean and Catalina Island views. The second bedroom is a second suite, with queen-size bed, sleeper sofa, and en suite bath with walk-in shower. Just 3 blocks from the Newport Pier. 1 parking spot in garage.

The Space:

2314 W Oceanfront A is professionally managed by Newport Beach Vacation Properties. This 2 story boardwalk home offers a private retreat perfect for people-watching and sunset-gazing. Be home before sunset to watch the dazzling display of colors over the ocean from the open concept gathering space. Surrounded by windows overlooking the beach, the dining area for 6 offers a perfect spot for soaking in the views. The expanded kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare meals with ease thanks to large counters and a full suite of appliances.



Gather around the fireplace and find your favorite movie on the flat-screen TV for a peaceful evening at home. The stylish, yet cozy living area offers a sofa and loveseat for relaxing together.



Treat yourself to the master suite, a remarkable hideaway with a king size bed, en-suite bath with a walk-in shower, and a private balcony featuring seating for two and panoramic ocean and Catalina Island views. A sleeper sofa accommodates additional guests.



The second bedroom is a second suite, with a queen size bed, sleeper sofa, and en suite bath with walk-in shower. The home sleeps eight in total, and an additional bathroom off the main living space ensures there’s never a wait to wash the sand off after a day at the beach.



Spend more time in the sun with an outdoor patio that’s all yours to enjoy. Wine, dine, and people-watch at a shaded table for four overlooking the beach, and grill up fresh veggies and seafood on the BBQ.



The home has a one-car garage, which houses a washer and dryer.



The boardwalk location places you within easy reach of the best of Newport Beach. Start your mornings with a tranquil stroll or bike ride, then spend afternoons sunning and swimming. The views of the beach were breathtaking. The house was clean and comfortable. Over all it was a great place to stay. We were celebrating our 37th anniversary, the setting was romantic and very peaceful. Tue surrounding restaurants and shop were fun and good food. Spent hours just enjoying the beach . We did have an alarm go off early the first morning but it as taken care of quickly. The host was awesome and very helpful. Check in and check out were a breeze. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to my friends. Thank you

Great view, comfy beds

We had a great view of the ocean despite the rain. Easy walk to food. We were told someone from management would be but to fix our beeping fire detector but they didnt show, the house was chilly and no instructions on how to turn on heatbut it was

Location great but extremely loud

Location was great but the very loud all hours. Unit was clean but felt like there was a layer of sand on all the floors. Outside furniture on lower level was very dirty and gross. Needs a good clean and power wash. Beds were very comfortable! Don’t rent a big car if planning to use the garage. We had a Nissan Pathfinder and it was extremely hard getting in and out of garage especially if cars were parked on street. Disappointed that we couldn’t check in 1/2 hour early even when unit was empty and cleaners had left.

Thank you for the feedback, Stephanie! We do apologize that the outside patio furniture was not cleaned well, we would've loved to send a cleaner to address that if we were made aware of this. We do also apologize that your vehicle did not fit, but we do make sure to note that the space available is meant for compact cars only. With the early check in, we do try our best to accommodate them when available. But unfortunately, your home was not ready until moments before your check in time. We wait to get the go ahead from our cleaners & inspectors before allowing early check in to ensure the home is ready to go for our guests. We hope despite these small issues, that your stay was still great down in sunny Newport Beach!

Fun family vacation but filthy house :}

Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very dirty. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am not usually the person that writes negative things about anything... But when we got to the property, I cried and was so upset. I have been saving up and planning a family vacation all year. It's the first time I was able to take my whole family (my adult 3 children and their spouses and 3 grandbabies) on vacation so that we could all be together for a week. This house was filthy dirty and in disrepair. I was so very disappointed. And it had a dangerous situation for young children in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. The sliding glass screen door was rusted and broken and couldn't close and was bent off the track on the bottom leaving a large opening...a perfect situation for a young child to put their foot/leg through and fall/get stuck or get cut or really hurt so we couldn't leave the sliding door open during the day (no A/C so was hot with no breeze) without locking the bedroom door to keep the little ones out... it is definitely a dangerous situation. The blinds were filthy and some were trashed, the baseboards and window sills and screens were caked with dirt and the floors were filthy; our feet were all black on the bottom from walking on the floor barefoot the very first night we got there. Other than the dangerous sliding door and the broken blinds and the dirtiness of the place it was a wonderful vacation. Just another note, on Friday and Saturday nights there is ALOT of noise and people partying until 1 or 2 a.m. because this home is just a few doors down from the bars and at 5:30 in the morning the street sweepers start so you won't get a lot of sleep so definitely not a good property for families with small children but would probably be great for young adults just having fun. However, the ocean and the view were awesome and it was wonderful to be able to walk right out onto the beach and people watch on the boardwalk. The beach is beautiful and the sand is very soft. Will definitely go back to Newport for years to come but never to this property... Manager responded on 10/25/2017: First, we want to apologize that you arrived to a property that had not been properly cleaned and had an outstanding maintenance issue. 2314 Oceanview Family Vacation

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all, this vacation rental is worth it. While not as expensive as many other beachfront properties, it definitely has it's strengths and weaknesses. The location is ideal if you want to be close to where the action is (just a couple of buildings over from the hotel, restaurants, bars, etc). It is great for people watching and just a step away from the beach/ocean. It isn't as renovated as other properties along Oceanfront for sure, but it still is clean and spacious. This property does not have AC and that made it a little hot, stuffy, and humid even in our mid-October visit so it would be something to keep in mind if you are looking for a summer rental. We kept the garage door cracked and the front window open to keep a breeze coming through but with the location, you do hear a lot of folks leaving the bar at night so if you're a light sleeper, it may be a challenging fit. We had ants the first day but called Burr White right away and they took care of everything within an hour. All in all, we're going to be coming back.

On the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our two night stay at this house was great. The location can't be beat. Right on the beach. No road for the kids to cross to get there. Located on a dead end, one way street so there isn't much traffic that way either. Within a couple of blocks of restaurants and a bakery. We really appreciated the sand toys in the garage for the boys to play with. Cons: The house has a garage (or two if you rent both units). It was a very tight turn to get the minivan in the garage if there was a car parked across the street. We ended up parking across the outside of the garage and had no trouble. The upstairs carpet felt weird. It was like it didn't get rinsed well last time it was cleaned? The staff at Burr White were very accommodating with our late reservation and arrival. Manager responded on 3/2/2015: Unfortunately, the garages here on the peninsula are smaller because Newport Beach built most of the housing before larger cars became popular. Also, the maintenance team has been notified of the carpet issue. We will have that addressed immediately. Again, thank you for your input so that we may improve our services and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the beach.

The property was clean and looked just like the photos. The only minor problem was that the internet was pretty spotty. Other than that, great girls weekend, we are even considering making it annual! I would highly recommend this property and Burr White as a rental agency. I was able to handle everything over email from NYC - even signing the contract.

Wonderful Getaway
