Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The house and property are exquisite and the views are epic. Steve went above and beyond in all respects, even kindly offering to extend our stay when our flight was unexpectedly canceled. This is the way to do St. John - perfect location to visit the beaches, hike the trails, try different restaurants. Luxury in the middle of a National Park!

Wonderful, clean, mountaintop retreat

We had a great experience with this property. Cleanliness is really important to us and we found the house to be nearly immaculate. The property owner also makes it easy to access. For us they sent a house manager (Raymond was great) down to Cruz Bay to drive us up to the property on the first day. That may not sound necessary, but the road in can be a challenge on your first attempt and it's good to have a guide. A utility truck was literally stuck in the road leading to the house on our first day. Raymond was a big help for that. Some reviewers noted that the owner is in the guest house on site. For us, no one was there during our stay which worked well. We always had quick access to Raymond if needed and we didn't mind the extra privacy. The house is well stocked with everything you'd expect in a rental at this level with just a couple exceptions: - A TV in the main room is connected to a FireStick and works well. The downstairs bedroom doesn't have a TV. The upstairs bedrooms have TV's that aren't connected. We brought our own FireStick for one and it worked well. With our four kids it would be nice to have all three TV's ready to go. - There is no backup power. Power was out for the first few hours of our stay. I'm glad it came on before sunset.Other than that, this is an excellent property, worthy of booking. The house, outdoor areas, property management and VIEWS exceed expectations. We hope to be back.

Amazing

Friends had an amazing stay! The easiest way to just enjoy a vacation. Definitely get a jeep, the roads are pretty rough in places and smaller non-all terrain vehicles wouldn't do well. Thanks So Much!!! DH & Friends

Spring Break with the family

Beautiful villa set up in the mountains of St. John’s with a gorgeous view. House was beautiful in great condition great shape, infinity pool had a view of coral bay and the BVI‘s.

A little slice of paradise!

We stayed at Bordeaux Falls with our 7 yr old and each of us loved our time here. It is hard to find places on St. John that have the bedrooms all in one building, which feels safest with little kids, so we were thankful for the layout of this property. The driveway is steep, but Steve helped us learn how to maneuver it best our first day and afterwards it was totally manageable. The views are breathtaking, and Jeffrey the turtle was a big hit! We loved having breakfast at the outdoor dining table and happy hour by the pool after a wonderful day of beaches. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean and well maintained - it's truly a magical place to stay.

Slice of Heaven

Beautiful home with amazing view and amenities. From booking to our week long stay, everything was perfect. My husband and I, along with our young adult daughters loved our week there. Easy access to all the beaches. The view. The pool. All the attention to details in the home for making us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for giving us so many wonderful memories.

Our Slice of Paradise

Bordeaux Falls truly is a piece of Paradise. Drop dead gorgeous views, settings, and peace of mind. The home is so beautiful and well appointed... we had everything we needed. We got a "kick" out of the serenading every night by the frogs - so cute! Steve was a delightful host, ready to help with any of our needs and enjoyable to talk with. Couldnt have picked a better place to enjoy family.

Wonderful family vacation

Our family of 6 (kids ages 1,4,7,10) had a great time at Bordeaux Falls. It was a perfect location to explore the island. It was close to some of the best beaches, including Maho, and the kids loved swimming in the pool in the afternoon after a morning at the beach. The drive to the house was a little intimidating the first time we drive it, but Steve met us and showed the way and after a day I felt totally comfortable driving. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to St John.

Bordeaux Falls

I, my wife and 2 friends just ended a wonderful week at Bordeaux Falls. Steve was a wonderful host. He lives next door and was always helpful with any local insights and trip preparation questions. The house was in immaculate condition, is fresh, airy, well furnished and perfectly comfortable for two couples.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful trip! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Steve was so helpful and made the check-in process a breeze. The home has everything our family needed during our stay. Fantastic views, well appointed kitchen and relaxing setting - just what we were looking for!! The 3rd bedroom queen bed is a Murphy bed - which was a surprise and should be more clear in the listing. Two adults used the room - the bed was OK - a traditional mattress/frame would have been preferred.

Breathtaking views and beautiful house

We cannot say enough good things about this absolutely beautiful house. Everything you need, perfect, impeccable condition, and the most amazing views from two decks. Felt like we experienced the beauty of the mountains in St. John while only a 15/20 minute drive to the north shore beaches. Steve is a wonderful host and takes perfect care of the property. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful and Quiet Retreat, best vacation!

The property is stunning, truly a beautiful and quiet retreat. My family had the best vacation and would come back again in a heartbeat! The villa is well appointed with just about anything you may need, very clean and comfortable. Steve is very helpful with any questions or needs and delightful to chat with. Fantastic villa

We've been going to St. John for over 25 years and stayed at many villas. I think this was the best one. The house is beautiful, extremely comfortable, and impeccably clean. It has a really nice pool and a great view. The location is great as well. Being up on Bordeaux mountain means that there are cool breezes even during the day (the house is also fully air conditioned - which I love). Steve, the owner, lives on site in a separate cottage, which is also a big plus. He was a fantastic host. It's very clear that he takes great pride in the house and keeps everything in exceptional order.

Absolutely loved this home!

This property is gorgeous and it worked perfectly for our family of four (2 teenage daughters - 15 &16). Steve is a wonderful host and we really enjoyed getting to know him during our stay! He met us upon arrival to guide us to the house as it was starting to get dark. This alleviated a lot of potential stress! The house was immaculate and is accurately represented by the photos (and even better in person). It had everything we needed during our stay (kitchen dishware/appliances, beach towels, beach chairs, etc.) We really enjoyed the pool and we especially loved the upper balcony where my husband and I spent a lot of evenings reading. The breezes are amazing up on the mountain, which makes the temperature so comfortable. All of the rooms have air conditioning units and we did use the ones in our bedrooms and they worked great! The house is closer to Coral Bay, but it is not far to get to any place on the island. The house is in a great location to visit the popular beaches. We enjoyed driving into Coral Bay as there are a few great restaurants and it is so much less crazy than Cruz Bay. We will absolutely return to this house on our next visit to St. John! Steve, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful, Secluded Retreat!

Bordeaux Falls Villa was gorgeous! Tucked away in the forest atop Bordeaux mountains with stunning views and a relaxing setup, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our host, Steve, who lives in the guest house on site met us at the grocery store in Cruz Bay to help give us the lay of the land and led us to the property. Having Steve available for questions and advice/recommendations was really helpful without feeling intrusive at all. The villa does feel a bit remote, but that's honestly part of the charm and nothing is really all that far just a bit of driving required to get around. I would recommend the villa for anyone looking for quiet solitude with access to all the beauty St. John has to offer!

What a gem!!!

Bordeaux Falls is immaculately maintained with a lot of love and care by owner Steve. Our desire was to be more remote than Cruz Bay and take day trips and return home for dinners. It was a fantastic home base for exploring beaches. Steve was awesome meeting us after renting the car to help us get groceries. We loved our trip and would happily return to this beautiful home for another trip.

Incredible Views from the top of Bordeaux Mountain

You can’t go wrong with this house! The views are incredible and it’s a really well laid out 3br house. Fully stocked with all kinds of household supplies. A short drive to Coral Bay restaurants and only a 20 minute drive to much more busy/commercialized Cruz Bay. This is the right side of the island to stay on!

Five star house!

Wonderful house, views, and host! The house was clean, comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. The views were amazing and the house had tons of natural light. It was perfect for our group of six. Steve was very attentive and helpful as a host. We truly enjoyed staying here.
