Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was clean, cozy and had all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed family time along with some baseball. We would definitely come back to this house again!

Great views!

Great property in Cayucos with amazing views of the Pacific and Morro rock. Within walking distance to the beach, though we didn't as we were there as a point to travel north, south, and to SLO. Downtown Cayucos is close as is Morro Bay. Easy ride to so many great spots. Spacious and clean.

Family Christmas by the Coast

Property was very clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen very wall equipped, we found everything we needed as foodies to prepare delicious and elaborate holiday meals. Thoroughly enjoyed the expansive ocean views, and short walks down to the beach. Sitting on the balcony for sunrises and sunsets was a highlight.

Great spot for a car event in Cayucos.

We had a car rally in town. The house was clean and well equipped. We will definitely book again.

Another perfect stay!

So happy to have returned for another stay at this lovely property. Our family of 5 stayed here for an end of summer beach trip and had a wonderful time - the house is well kept, check-in was easy, and the location is perfect for nearby activities in Cayucos and Morro Bay. We'll be back!

Cayucos Getaway

It was the perfect place to meet up with friends from the bay area. Situated between Morro Bay and Cayucos. Convenient beach access. We would love to come back next summer.

Great view and location!

Our family had a great time and loved the view! We were able to get to Cal Poly easily to visit our daughter and enjoyed walking to the beach and eating at the restaurants in Cayucos.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Kelly was very responsive and respectful. We enjoyed the great ocean views and the quiet neighborhood. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

Wonderful getaway for the family!

Property was exactly as described - extremely clean, well organized and stocked for a comfortable stay. Great location with a quick drive to downtown Cayucos. Amazing views made for a perfect holiday weekend. We will definitely stay here again!

Weekend family wedding stay

Our family of kids and spouses and an infant had a great stay. The place was very clean and spacious. The view is beautiful! Wish we actually spent more time there but we were busy with wedding activities. We would stay again.

Kelly Vandenheuvel is the Property Manager for this property. Jim & Liz Reid and Joel & Nana Smith shown in the picture are the owners. After 25 years of family trips to Cayucos and Morro Bay every summer, the Reids and Smiths decided to sell their mountain cabin and buy a home at the coast. Liz ad Nana, sisters and their husbands chose Cayucos because to them it is the quintessential beach town. Now they have come to appreciate and enjoy all the seasons here. They love all Cayucos has to offer, and hope you do too!

Everyone that stays at "Smooth Sailing" absolutely loves it! It is a wonderful place for a family vacation or a get-away with friends. The home has beautiful ocean views, and is just a short distance to the beach.
