We had an excellent stay. The home is centrally located and provided quick access to all SD has to order. Everything is exactly as pictured. The check in process was smooth, communication was great. The hosts took great care to ensure the home was clean, stocked with essentials, and ready to enjoy. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Great house and location

Loved this house, it was beautiful and very clean. Pretty much stocked with anything you need. They even had beach chairs to use which were very nice. Washing machines for normal clothes and one for beach stuff. The neighborhood was very quiet, never really heard anything. Great little restaurants and shops near by. Would definitely love to stay again. Thank you!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would

I have stayed in several VRBOs around the world, and this is the best I have ever stayed in. Excellent quiet location in North Park, exceptionally well equipped with everything you would want for a short or a long stay, including a really nice and nicely equipped back yard. Communications with Mick and Lynn were very speedy. Next time I am in San Diego I will definitely want to stay here!

Our Holiday In San Diego

This was our second stay at this North Park house. The property is very well kept and offers more than comfort, i.e. the beautiful garden and general decor inside the house which surpasses most holiday lets. The owners were more than hospitable. Special thanks to them both for their kindness. Special memories of this place will last.

Beautiful Home, Amazing Neighborhood

This home is even better than the listing. My husband, two kids, and I stayed for almost a week and had all of the amenities of home, including step stools for the kids, laundry supplies, and more. We loved being able to walk to some great restaurants, a coffee shop, and a grocery store, and the easy proximity to Balboa Park and anywhere else we wanted to go was a definite perk. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe and a private back patio was a beautiful oasis and a nice place to relax once the kids went to sleep. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great home away from home in San Diego!

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely stay. Communication with host Mick was very smooth. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated and has everything you could need (and more). We loved the neighborhood feel and proximity to restaurants, shops, and Balboa Park. We also appreciated the beautiful landscaping and backyard patio for relaxing and dining el fresco. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Schönes Haus in einer angenehmen Nachbarschaft

Das Haus ist sehr modern ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt und alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Im Garten gibt es mehrere SitzplĂ€tze und auch hier ist alles sehr gepflegt. Wir haben uns in der Woche, die wir hier verbracht haben sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und angenehm. Die Lage in North Park ist ideal, 5 Minuten Fahrt zum großen Supermarkt, 10 Minuten zum Balboa Park und Fashion Valley. Wenn wir wieder nach San Diego reisen, werden wir das Haus sicher wieder mieten.

the house was adorable in a great quiet neighborhood. such a huge benefit to have a driveway and not have to worry about street parking . really high quality amenities, towels, bedding and cooking implements were all great. host friendly and very responsive, would 1000% recommend this property to anyone staying in san diego.

Old school charm

It has been years since we stayed in a walkable neighborhood. Groceries, coffee, BBQ and restaurants all in walking distance. Location is very centrally located if you are looking to explore the city. The home itself has a craftsman feel, is well decorated, very clean and is likely the best provisioned rental we have ever had.

Perfection!

We were so happy with our choice to stay at Mick and Lynn’s home. It is in the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping in North Park, and just a short drive to most of San Diego’s attractions. Street parking is abundant. The home is impeccably decorated and the thoughtful provisions and amenities made us truly feel at home away from home. We enjoyed meals on the peaceful and spacious back patio. We would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you Mick and Lynn!

Best Short-term Rental We Have Experienced

My spouse and I recently spent a delightful month at Mick and Lynn’s place in North Park, San Diego. It is a located is on a pleasant, walkable, residential street and its mature desert landscaping might make it the prettiest house on the block. I don't think the listing photos do justice to the place itself. The location is ideal: very close to Balboa Park, which we visited several times. Easy onto the freeway gave us access to downtown, the coast, La Jolla, the mountains – just about anywhere. And if you don’t want to drive, there are plenty of shops, grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Everything was immaculate and well-kept. The backyard is a peaceful oasis with multiple seating areas where beautiful plantings and small fountain attract birds. It was just unfortunate that the chill kept us inside at night instead of outside under the garden lights. There is reliable and strong wifi with many outlets equipped with direct USB ports. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to cook meals, which we did often. The hosts are most thoughtful and available to answer any questions. My husband and I have done quite a bit of traveling, and without a doubt, this house is the most professionally run short-term rental we have stayed in.

Home away from home!

This incredible bungalow was perfect for me to call home base while making me memories with the family. Everything was thought of, from the bottle of wine that greeted me after a day of traveling, to the bags for shopping. Everything was perfect!

We loved the North Park area, walking distance to restaurants, shops, even Balboa Park. The immaculate house was beautifully decorated and outfitted with everything we needed for our week stay—especially appreciated the comfortable bed and outdoor spaces. Beautiful; exceeded my expectations.

Delightful, cozy in every way. The only problem I had was with the check in. I arrived at night and could not see the house number from my car. I wound up having to walk from house to house (there was a cold rain at the time) and found it after 15 minutes of searching. If I had arrived during the daytime, this would have been a perfect stay. Hosts excellent.

There's small market within half a block, barber, hair dresser on a quiet street, in an out of the way back block of North Park. Baron's Market on north end of Bancroft St, about 5 minutes away.
Scooters are usually close by though they're getting rarer as the craze wears off. Rideshare (Uber and Lyft) are a great way to get around.
