Om boendet

Vi designade och byggde detta hem från sanden upp 1997. Vårt uppdrag är att välkomna familj och vänner i en miljö med lugn lyx. Hemmet är Crump-familjen som ägs och drivs av McCarthy-familjen som byggde det. Således vet vi, och bryr oss om varje detalj, och vi delar ledningen, vilket förbättrar slutresultatet! Havsutsikten är expansiv och fantastisk från våra fyra däck. Hemmet har två sovrum med sovrum, alla med king size-sängar.

Girls Getaway

We are four 60 women that plan a trip together once a year. Amelia Island was our favorite so far. This house is in a perfect location. The beach is steps away and it is less than 10 minutes to the historic downtown or the grocery store. Also, the house is very well appointed with everything we could need. We are talking about a returning.

Spring Break Memories

We’ve been coming to Fernandina Beach for Spring Break the last 7 years. The last four of which have been spent at this house. I don’t think there is a more perfect location for our family. The proximity to a quiet section of beach and the relaxing porch to swing and watch the ocean are our favorite features. This house was built for families and we have used it to make memories for ours.

Better Than Before

This is the second time I've stayed in this house; the last was in 2020. If anything, the house is in better shape than before, with upgrades most notable in the bathrooms. The location can't be beat. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Another great visit

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this property and plan to come back again next year. Perfect space for multiple families. Plenty of together space as well as private space. Convenient to lots of Fernandina attractions. Able to bike ride to town. We love it.

Location

The house is spacious, the beach is just across the road, and the view is amazing! Plenty of beach towels. It was the perfect place for six high school friends to spend a week.

Amelia Island our Happy Place!

This house is perfect for our family. This is our 3rd time staying at Sandcastle. The screened in porch was great for our grands. The weather wasn’t the best but this house had books for our 4yr old grand and I to share. The big Lego blocks provided hours of fun. Making memories at Amelia is the best!!

Wonderful Week

The house is well thought out. En suite baths with each of the four bedrooms downstairs. The loft is nice as well, especially if you need a little tuck-away room for a young one. The living area/kitchen/screened porch was ideal for our large crowd. The sunrise over the ocean and the view of the water from the porch made you feel you were ON the beach. The "beach toys" available for use and the shaded, sandy "playground" under the house was really perfect.

Family forever!

Thanks John! We had a great time. Plenty of space for my children (4) and their families. With 15 of us in the house, we were never crowded. so glad you have beach chairs and kids toys available. Hope to be back again...sooner than later :)

Best house in the area!

We just wrapped our 9th annual family vacation in Amelia Island. This house has been the best so far! Location, house layout, cleanliness, comfort, supplies, and the SCREEN PORCH all made our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning next year!

Special memories made

Everyone in our family loved staying here. Each bedroom is spacious and quiet. Loved the screened deck and play area under the house. The view of the sunrise is breathtaking. It’s an easy walk to beach an we were able to make multiple trips a day with small children .Can’t wait to return.

Great location!

We have rented this house for two years and love sitting on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and enjoying the ocean view. While the house is older, you can’t beat the location.

We took the whole family including our 1 year old grand son. the house is perfect for a large family. The location is great, the beach is very quite and the small town of Fernandina Beach with lots of shops and restaurants is a 10 minute drive. Highly recommend this house for a great and relaxing time.

Let's make it a regular thing

This is my our new annual place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, friends and family. This was our third stay, first one without a nor'easter or hurricane coming through. Caretakers are very attentive and personal. Space is perfect for getting away from it all and each other when needed. Convenient to biking to town for brunch or dinner. We love it.

Family Memories

This was our second year staying here. It is just a fabulous beach home. The screened front porch with the amazing ocean views never gets old. Our daughter got engaged on the beach in front of the house, so this home will always hold a special memory for our whole family!

We’ve stayed here 3 years in a row. Great location and great multi-family set-up. We really like this place but furniture is getting old, including living room furniture and beds. Updating that would really help this place. Just a suggestion not so much a complaint.

Amazing stay

This is our second time staying at this fabulous beach house. We had 9 adults and 2 babies. Everything was great. The kitchen was stocked with all you need to cook with even a fryer and a crockpot. It is a fabulous house for many people. The beds were comfy, even in the July heat the air kept up enough for 11 of us. Under the house there is plenty of room for beach things and 5 trucks. They have 2 swings and a sand area shaded that was nice to play in for the babies. You are directly across from the most beautiful beach so walking back and forth for meals was easy. The screened in porch has 2 porch swings that were used a lot. Perfect place to have coffee in the early mornings. We love this house! We will stay again. Thank you to the owners for all your love and care that you put into the house. It is evident.

Birthday week

I started a tradition of having all my kids and their spouses/significant others or friends to join me the week of my birthday. My Mom was able to join us as well. She is 80 and we almost lost her a year ago but she has worked hard and was able to walk to and from the beach everyday!!! We also had some friends stop by for dinner. We had such a great time this week, as always it goes by way to fast. I am already booked for next year!!
