Den ena är en bekväm och ren lägenhet med 1 sovrum som ligger på första våningen i ett tre våningar högt komplex med fantastisk utsikt över havet där stranden är bokstavligen din lekplats. Med trägolv överallt och TV-apparater i både vardagsrummet och sovrummet behöver du inte kämpa om fjärrkontrollen. Både vardagsrum och sovrum har utsikt över havet. Du har till och med full tillgång till en delad tvättmaskin / torktumlare under din semester också! Genom att flytta till drömlandet på en bekväm king size-madrass kommer du att föryngra dig för din nästa dag ute på stranden. Njut av en vacker morgonsoluppgång från din balkong följt av främre radstolar för att titta på delfinerna leka medan du njuter av ditt morgonkaffe. Natthimlen är perfekt för att stirra och lyssna till havsvågorna kraschar på stranden. Du kan parkera din bil på den privata parkeringsplatsen hela tiden du är här eftersom allt du någonsin skulle behöva ligger inom gångavstånd på Center Street. Små hundar är välkomna med husdjursavgift.

Perfect location

We loved our stay! This is a corner beachfront unit with windows facing the beautiful sunrise. We enjoyed the screens in the windows which allowed us to hear the ocean while inside. There just enough kitchen supplies to make some simple meals. The shower was incredible! Dogs are allowed on the beach and our pup loved staying here as well! Would absolutely recommend.

Misleading review rating

This unit is highly rated however the condition is not good. This unit has multiple areas that need peeling paint and water damage repaired. Every room of this unit needs something including an exterminator as we found multiple roaches during our 2 day stay. Very unfortunate experience since the location is prime.

Perfect location

This was our second year renting the condo for Thanksgiving weekend. It is the perfect location. Burt’s market is our go to place which is a half block away, everything is in perfect walking distance.

Wonderful place to vacation!

Upgrades are very nice! Had a corner condo on first level and the views were exceptional! Kitchen was well equipped. Would suggest the owner invest in a new mattress.

Terrific place to stay

Situated right on the beach….it was great for relaxing and going into the water. Management very accommodating. We would rent this unit again for sure.

Nightmare

This property must be taken off your listing immediately! It’s unsafe, filthy, and the worst unit we’ve ever been in. Black mold in bedroom wall, floor and window sill, rust in microwave all over inside , all screens torn, huge paint chips pealing from bathroom ceiling, roaches in bedroom, no broom, vacuume or mop to clean up sand, filthy rug in living room, Hoke’s in walls in many places. I have pictures of everything and will post on Internet along with sending to health & regulation agencies so this unit is not allowed to operate to the public until it’s cleaned, sanitized, appliance replaced, unit sanded, patched, painted, items list above replaced.

Folly in March

Very nice condo. Walked everywhere so we literally moved the car once to go eat at Bowens Island. Bicycled on the beach. A lovely, and very windy, week 😎

A Perfect Perch!

I love winter beaches and this spot on Folly Beach was perfect. I travel with my dog and the first floor access to the beach made it so easy to hop on the beach first thing in the morning. Gorgeous views and it was peaceful and quiet. Be sure to use the shower because it had all the bells and whistles! We were super comfy here and will be back next winter!

Beautiful view, high fees

We've stayed in several units in Folly Suites including 1A before. It's an awesome unit for 2 people and maintained well. It would have been nice to be able to enter just 30 minutes early to dress for an event, for the almost $800 in service fees tacked on but it is what it is. I also left a few things in a bag and called right away but the cleaning people just couldn't find somehow. Kind of sad but you can't beat the view and location

Updates Needed

Property needs to be uodated and repaired. Flaking paint, deck boarda broken, water damage in bedroom, signs of mold and cockroachea throughout the room. Staff was wonderful, but the property need repaired prior to renting again.

Folly Beach!

Had a great stay. Enjoyed beach access, close to downtown. Short walk everywhere. Bert’s (grocery, sandwiches, beer and wine) is a block away, really fun place! Loved the end unit - great sunlight. First floor is easy to get to. Other minor comments: no keurig, so bring ground coffee. AC wouldn’t stop blowing cold, even when we shut off thermostat. Low water pressure in bathroom sink. Could have used a broom and dustpan in unit to help us keep sand at bay.

Great View / Buyer Beware -great location but disappointing

Too many additional fees that are not necessary. We would have made a different choice had this not been a last minute reservation with more availability. Take the time to review the second page itemized billing before you pull the trigger. These are all separate and additional fees: Linen Fee $100.00 Damage Waiver Fee Management Fee Booking Fee Cleaning Fee 65.00 Rug was filthy and so was the couch. Address or throw them away. Baseboards, a/c registers... not clean and unit really needs painting. I am also a vrbo owner and a Damage waiver should always be refunded if no damage has occurred. I have never seen nor charged all of these fees. Heard everything upstairs all night long. Kept us up. On the good notes: beautiful view and super location. Unfortunate, that we walked away feeling disappointed and ripped off.

Noise and a bit worn

We’ve rented houses right on Folly Beach several times. This is the first time we rented a condo. It’s very busy. Lots of people coming and going in the building. Dogs barking- our neighbors dog barked nonstop while they were out of the condo. Also there was construction of some kind of shed being built on the other side our window where the public access is. The upstairs neighbors moved furniture a lot so that also made many noises. We’ve lived in an apartment in NYC for 30 years so I’m used to some noise and activity from building neighbors but I wasn’t expecting it to be so constant here. The space is fine a little run down. Verticals blinds didn’t close and sometimes came disengaged. The shutter on a bedroom window is breaking off. Lighting in main room only has one light. The chairs on the porch are so low when you sit in them your view of the ocean is blocked by the palm tree. Very little space for suitcase- drawers in wardrobe were broken. Immediate access to the beach and to restaurants was great.

Love-Hate

I had a love-hate relationship with the condo. Loved the location, and it was perfect for me in every way -- with three exceptions: I did not have air-conditioning for at least half of my stay. It was VERY difficult to find the condo at night, and the walls are VERY thin. I could hear every word the family next door said, and I could hear the dog whining whenever they were gone. Noise is not a big issue with me, but I suggest the two condos be pet-free.
