Great Place

We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was friendly and welcoming especially the other condo owners we met on the elevator. The condo is a little out dated but that’s not an issue. It does need blinds replaced over the balcony entrances. The lack of blinds in the king bedroom made it hot in there. The pool and beach access were good! We will be back.

Summer Vacation

We stayed 3 nights at the Hidden Dunes of Panama. We enjoyed our stay and loved being waterfront. The pool, parking, and restaurant were all great additions to our stay.

Easy, beautiful PCB

Superb location and spacious 2-BED, 2-BR condo with beautiful beach view balcony. Easy, convenient virtual check-in/out. Has amenities such as washer and dryer, and dishwasher. Great for a family vacation.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We have been renting this condo for a number of years during the month of October. It is a beautiful condo and is always in great condition.The view from the balcony is awesome and the sunsets are amazing. There is so much to do in the area and I would recommend it to anyone.There is a lot going on in Panama City and Panama City Beach, and you are never at a loss for something to do. If you enjoy gambling, Biloxi, Mississippi is only a 4-1/2 hour drive away. We are looking forward to returning to this condo in 2013

Needs updating: low price low expectations

This unit was chosen for the price and you get what you pay for. It is very dated and needs some attention. Blinds were broken, microwave not bolted to wall properly, toilet not seated to floor properly, very dark in shower. It definitely needs some remodeling and attention.

Could not ask for better!

We had an amazing time and cannot thank Dorothy enough. The view was amazing, we had everything we needed and then some. LOL We LOVED the little closet with the extra beach toys, chairs, etc. Thank you also for all your patience in answering my questions. We plan to be back again next year......maybe twice. ;-) Thanks again!

Fantastic view!!

Overall the condo was great! The dining room and living room set up allowed for a fantastic view of the ocean. The flip flop sofa in master bedroom worked great for our young daughter. The owner was extremely easy and nice to work with. The master bath shower was not working on arrival but Dorothy was quick to fix the problem and even called after the fact to make sure we were taken care of. The condo was very clean which can be hard to do with so much sand being tracked in. We were very pleased with our stay.

PCB - Our Winter Home

We loved our stay in this condo for the winter months of January, February and March, 2014. We've spent our winters in PCB for the past 15 years and this condo was very well suited to our requirements. The views of the gulf and the beautiful evening sunsets are absolutely stunning. We love the interior design and decorating. So fresh, bright, clean and tastefully colorful. We are returning for 2015 and looking so forward to it. An additional attraction, our favorite breakfast and lunch restaurant, The Pickle Patch, is almost directly across the street. We would highly recommend this property to all ages.

Great beach- dirty unit

We loved the beach and location. The unit left a lot to be desired. The washer had mold, dryer had a lot of built up lint, shower curtain was grimy, walls were dirty and had a hole, doors and handles were dirty, hair in dresser draws and on trundle bed, blood on elevator walls (speaks to entire condos cleanliness). The size was good for 6 people, and there were plenty of pots and pans but they need replacing due to the Teflon coating flaking off. There wasn't enough cutlery. Closet doors (bifold) wouldn't close. We had the overall feeling of not wanted to touch anything, which makes it hard to relax. This could be a great unit if it was fixed up properly...not just a new coat of paint.

Very nice unit!

We stayed in Dorothy's 18th floor unit back in April and it was nice as well. Be advised that the master bedroom mattress in this 20th floor unit is 10 out of 10 on the scale of firmness. If you are not used to a really, really firm bed, bring a bed topper. Having said that, the master bed in the 18th floor unit was as comfortable to me as any bed that I've ever slept in. Both units are clean and well kept. Nice furnishings. We love Dunes of Panama and I am sure that we will be staying in these units again.

Pleasant

We had another wonderful stay at the Dunes. I've lost count of how many times we've stayed over the years in multiple condos. This was reasonably priced and the only reason I'm not giving it a five star is because I felt that some furniture upgrades in the bedrooms could be made but again we paid less a night to stay with a beach view verses any hotel which would cost you more. It was comfortable and served its purpose. The view is amazing on the higher floors. I prefer a view looking straight out to the ocean and this condo you can actually see in the other condos and people on their balconies but all in all can't complain. I would definitely stay in this unit again if the price is right!

BAD CONDO

The condo smelled very, very BAD, the floor was very sticky. The bathtub drained very very slow. They were dirty paper towels under the coffee table. the condo was NOT CLEANED at all.The bedrooms looked like they had been cleaned or we hoped that they were.

Meh...

Overall location was great, and a decent setup. However... conditions made it a not so great experience. The Carpet made your feet black instantly if you don't wear shoes. TV in the Master bedroom would not connect to anything except the dvd player...but who brings dvd's? The Blinds in the master were all broken, so you could not shut them for privacy and anyone on the balcony can see right in at all times... There was constriction the entire time on the building, with workers from Sun up to Sun down with Jackhammers chiseling on every floor, so you literally could not hang out in the room to rest and relax. would have been nice to know before booking.... Also, construction work on the room next door the whole time, but those guys were drowned out by the jackhammers all day.

Dirty but beach is awesome

Checking in was fine. Elevators were quick but dirty (blood on walls). Door code worked without issue, but as soon as we walked in, I felt like I'd been had. This room is extremely dated and in disrepair. Closet doors (bi-fold) wouldn't close completely, hole in the main bathroom wall (along with something drippy that wasn't washed off), washer had black mildew/mold in it (we didn't attempt to use), dryer was overloaded with lint and dirty (I used wet paper towels to wash it out as best as I could so we could at least dry our swimsuits), there was no bedding for the trundle pullout twin bed and the mattress cover had stuff on it (so we had to use the pullout couch), there were random hairs left behind (inside drawers, on the edge of the tub), the main bathroom's shower curtain wasn't clean (built up soap scum), all doors and handles were very grimy like they haven't been washed in a very long time. It made me not want to touch or sit anywhere. Now moving on to issues not related to cleanliness. The beds were very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when turning over, the kitchen was very poorly stocked (not enough silverware or glasses). The positives were the beach and no lines for elevators. Overall, we had a good vacation and a lot of fun and loved all the food, but we won't be staying here again.NOTE: it won't allow me to upload photos of things described above.

Disappointed in condition of condo

Once we got into the condo, we discovered that it was well worn. Upon further inspection, there were several maintenance issues. The lights in the closet blinked when on, as well as the one in the vanity area. The master bedroom was always hot and could not feel any ac coming out of the vents. The bath tub had a very slow drainage causing the water to back up. Most of the lamp shades had been damaged. The floors were dirty and the carpet in both bedrooms was filthy. It had some really dark stains. The master bedrooms bed was extremely hard. We could not sleep on it, so we sleep in the guest room which was somewhat better. The kitchen was not fully furnished. There were no steak knives or baking pans. And there was no way to save leftovers because there were no tops to bowels. Had to purchase more trash bags ( only had 2 for the entire week). This place really needs a deep clean. I will not be returning...

Beautiful 20th floor view of gulf

Dunes of Panama amenities were nice and the view was amazing. The condo itself wasn't the best. Master bed was the hardest bed that I have ever slept in. We actually cut our trip short by 1 day and came back early because I couldn't bare to try to sleep in that bed again. Master bath tub wouldn't drain properly. Kitchen has basic supplies for a week long stay.
