Beautiful place for a Martha's Vineyard weekend

This is a most amazing property! From the location to all of the features of the house itself, its decorations and furnishings (including all of the items in the kitchen that anyone staying there would need), this was a perfect place for me and my family to spend a fall weekend. An added bonus was the weather, which was especially gorgeous. As we were staying during a non-peak time, the host was wonderfully accommodating about checking in and checking out, and all of his communications with me were prompt and courteous. We really appreciated this. All of the technology was up to date and cutting edge, some of which we had to figure out, but that's more on us than on the host. This is a five-star property with five-star management, and we would love to stay there again when we next visit the Vineyard. Thank you, Michael, for everything!

Great option in Oak Bluff

Loved every aspect of this property. There were three of us, all brothers in their 70s. Be sure to note that getting up to the two upstairs bedrooms and TV room requires climbing a spiral staircase and a steep set of stairs to the third floor bedroom. Perfect for most renters. Just be aware.

Perfect little “surf and turf” getaway

We absolutely loved our weekend stay. House was lovely, clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The outdoor space was fantastic with views of the woods, a quick scenic walk to water and turkeys roam the property freely. Great choice if you prefer some relaxing down time and cooking meals in addition to being out and about. We agree with the listing that having a car is ideal, we didn’t and used the bus and Lyft which was fine but a car would be much more convenient given that this house is off the main strips. We absolutely loved our time and hope to get the chance to stay here again one day.

Ideal Location for Relaxation

Great house for our family of 5. Away from the crowds and bustle of the towns, yet an easy 10 min bike ride to Oak Bluffs. A little further to Edgartown, but not bad if you don’t mind a beautiful bike ride. Relaxing back deck and chairs. Well-appointed kitchen, too! Thoroughly enjoyed the house, loved the decor!

Relaxing week in Martha’s Vineyard

Excellent place and comfortable for 3 couples and then one in the children’s room. Large deck, walk to water, and nicely located between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown with bike paths to both. Very clean. Stayed last year and decided to come back and would do so again.

Perfect cottage for a Vineyard getaway

The cottage is exactly as described in the listing in a very quiet and private neighborhood. Would definitely recommend having a car or other mode of transport as it's some ways from the nearest towns. Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury and Edgartown were all just a short drive away, so we were able to easily take advantage of everything the island has to offer. The kitchen is very well stocked, so staying in an cooking a meal is an easy option, too. Everything was clean and the room setup worked well so everyone had a space to retreat as well as space for us to come together. We were there with a 2-year old, so had to pay attention with the spiral stairs - that would be my only caveat, but otherwise it's great for kids with plenty of space to run around, we'd come back.

Lovely October getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the crisp October weather. The house is perfect for relaxing. Very well equipped kitchen. Immaculate and beautifully styled with interesting art. Location convenient to Oak Buffs, Edgartown and Vineyard Haven if you don’t feel like cooking. Spacious outdoor deck and longview down to the water.

Pulpit rock way sums up the best of a Vineyard stay. Close to all towns, water view and salty air, clean and modern but charming and rustic home. Very comfortable, lots of outdoor access. Thank you for another great stay!

Cozy cottage with high end decor and amenities. Located in a secluded neighborhood area of MV but close to beaches, shopping, dining. Great communication from the owner. Would highly recommend staying here

Absolutely wonderful property and stay.

Our family of four, including 2 teenagers, truly enjoyed staying in this lovely home. The house is compact and the layout of common spaces is split, with the living room area on the second floor accessed via a spiral staircase. But we we able to make great use of common spaces for lots of family meals (+guests), movie nights, puzzles/games, etc. with still plenty of space for folks to "retreat" to their own places for quiet and privacy. The house itself is so tastefully and artfully decorated, and OMG is it well equipped. Fully (and I mean FULLY) stocked kitchen, smart TVs in all the right places, huge outdoor deck area, plenty of beach, picnic & entertaining equipment. We could have left 1/3 of what we packed and still have been so well set for the week stay. Owner was always readily accessible for any last minute questions. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem in the trees

Beautiful home in the trees. This home is well appointed with beautiful decor and amenities. There were 5 women and we each had space to spread out. Be advised that the spiral stairwell leading to the 2nd and 3rd floor can be tricky to manage with luggage. Communication with the owner/manager was always pleasant and prompt. Overall, I highly recommend this home.

Motorcycle MV Trip

My boyfriend and I are our two friends come over every year on motorcycles for a day trip to the Vineyard. This year we were able to stay here! It was so amazing and was our first time staying over there. It was conveniently located to everything, and easy to access even on a motorcycle! We ate all of our meals out so did not get to use much at the house, but it was so clean and spacious. We ended up only having 4 people instead of 6 so there was plenty of room. The outside lounge area was awesome. We struggled to find how to walk down to the water, but that is okay! Would definitely stay again!

Great home!

We had a group of 4 reuniting from a study program from 5 years ago. There was plenty of room which each of us having our own room. The house was well equipped and clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The outside deck was wonderful and provided a lot of extra space. I would stay again

MV Family Stay

I stayed at this cute house with my family (husband, 2 kids) and my parents. We found the house to be a great set up with a fully equipped kitchen. We absolutely loved the access to the little beach (and using the outdoor shower after the kids were super sandy). I agree with some other reviewers that the 2 beds on the main floor were quite low, but they were super comfortable. The spiral staircase to the second level and the staircase to the loft could be challenging to impossible for some, but it was fine for our group, including my parents (in their 70s). Our ferry home was quite late in the day, but the owner was very gracious and pushed off the cleaning to the day after we left, so we were able to use the house after the usual check out time. It was a great location to quickly go into Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, but a little bit of a drive to Chilmark and the SW of the island. We had a lovely time and would love to use this property again!
