Golf tournament stay

The house was great! Clean and close to everything including the golf courses. Plenty of room for 4 guys on a golf trip. Parking was tight but manageable.

Nice home with everything you'll need for a comfortable visit

We had a great time staying in this Seaside VRBO rental. Yen was a great host who thoughtfully provided everything we needed for our stay. The parking situation in the neighborhood is tough so we were relieved to find that Yen had a parking spot right in the driveway.The rental is conveniently located near many tourist sites in Monterey. We also appreciated having plenty of space to spread out which helps when traveling with three teenagers.

Great location

Overall, our stay was great! The house was very clean upon arrival. Very close to the aquarium. Grocery stores are close by too. The only issue was that there was 1 space for parking in the driveway. If there’s a second car you will need to find street parking. I would return here!

Had a wonderful time here. The house is very nicely maintained, and the rooms are clean. My favorite thing about the house was the couches-- there was a couch that was deep with a pull out function so you could lay down on it and extendable headrests, it was awesome to chill on!

We refused to check in

The neighborhood is completely unsafe. We did not check in. We are working towards a refund of over $2000 - but no one has responded positively at this point. The home smelled very strongly of garlic? or other cooking odors.

Great time at the Sunny Bungalow

My family and I had a great time at the Sunny Bungalow. The house had everything we needed to make meals, relax, and have a great time. We played board games, relaxed in the beautiful backyard, and slept comfortably.  We spent most of our time at cannery row, the wharf, and the aquarium. The drive from the house to these areas was not far at all.  I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Yen for opening up your home to my family.

Family Girls weekend

Great little get away

The owner was incredibly responsive. The house was perfect for our stay, had to make some slight adjustments for a very mobile baby but we all had enough space to hang out, spacious kitchen that we didn’t really take advantage of. Room setups were nice too! Great location in respect to getting out and spending the day in Monterey at the wharf. I would stay here again.

Well Appointed House

This is nice house in a decent neighborhood. There's plenty of room and a nice back yard. The house is tastefully decorated. The house is about a mile and half from the interesting parts of Monterey -- the beach and the Wharf, etc. We thought we'd walk but it's a strip-mall wasteland. Much better to drive and then park. Certainly there is plenty of parking in the area (strip-malls having parking!) and the Warf parking is only about 1.50 an hour. It's it's only a 15 minute drive in the worst case. If we decide to go back to Monterey (and it's long been a favorite of ours) we may very well rent this again. It sure beats playing for a hotel! Dave

Good Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very well kept and very clean and management was very responsive. The one reservation I would have staying here again is the neighborhood. It’s definitely dodgy looking and we were pretty apprehensive driving in as we did have young kids with us. I would say there are things to walk to, I’m not sure I would feel safe doing that at night with kids. But as far as the place itself goes, I really don’t have any critiques. 10/10 as far as that side of things goes.

I really liked how the nieghborhood was really peaceful, most of all I really liked how clean the property was. The beach is also a three minute drive which my kids love and the property also has a beautiful garden to enjoy a picnic. Overall it was a very beautiful experience and for a fare price. I would definitely come back.
