A charming cottage on a quiet cul-de-sac, one block from Lake Michigan's Newcome beach. A mile from downtown South Haven is where you find this immaculate two bedroom, one bath cottage. Sip your morning coffee in the beautiful screened-in porch as you start your day. The back cottage offers a full kitchen, wi-fi, Smart TV with Hulu Live, central A/C/heat, a Keurig, charcoal grill and a picnic table. All you need to bring are your own bath towels and beach towels. There is laundry on property.

So much to do in and around South Haven; all a short drive from the cottage. You can venture out to see the South Haven Lighthouse, bike the Kal-Haven Trail, kayak on the Black River or golf at Hawkshead Links. Enjoy the wine tastings of Cogdal Vineyards or McIntosh Orchards or simply stroll along the beach every evening to watch the magnificent sunsets. While you are in town, visit the many unique shops, bakeries, restaurants and bars.

Nice place

The cabin was very clean and updated in a great location. The reason for 4 stars is we weren’t aware that we had to bring our own bath towels/wash cloths until the day before we were to leave. Maybe we didn’t read the description thoroughly before we rented it but, we’ve never encountered a VRBO rental where we had to supply our own towels so it wasn’t something we thought to look for. Fortunately we were driving up and not flying so we didn’t have to check a bag just for towels. Parking was a bit tricky. Only one spot per cabin and no overnight street parking. (We were there to visit family. Parking was a bit awkward when they came out to the cabin) Other than those things, it was a wonderful place! Really peaceful and enjoyed watching all the wildlife running around.

Fantastic spot!

This place was exactly what we needed and just what we hoped for. It was spotless when we arrived, with great kitchen supplies. Really comfortable couches and beds. Just a couple minutes walk to Newcome beach. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful family vacation

This was the first family vacation my husband and I have taken with our young girls. This home was absolutely perfect! Super comfortable and centrally located. This home was also immaculate when we arrived! Highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Anniversary Get-Away to South Haven

The cottage, exterior and interior, looked just like the pictures...comfy, cozy, and quiet. The location to all the beaches was excellent. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beach get-away. Larry & Diane D.

Cute but small and lacks a place to sit out.

The cottage is back of another cottage. The “porch” was more like a storage shed than a nice place to enjoy nature. Air conditioner unit made a racket as it was in a closet in the bathroom. Good location though.

Cute cottage

Excellent location to rest and enjoy lake Michigan

Recommended location, calm neighborhood with direct access to the beach. The house is small but comfortable with a nice patio to grill and eat outside.

Peace, fun, and adventure!
