This cabin suited us very well, giving two independent spaces and restrooms for some basic privacy. The location was fantastic, very close to town and sightseeing bases. We had a short stay in Talkeetna and didn't take advantage of all the amenities of the cabin, but thought the "compound" in general would be a terrific home base with a larger group to share a week there. The hosts were very communicative, and the property was clean and well-stocked.

Very nice, clean and cozy cabin. Love the interior materials. Perfect for my family of 5. Location was very convenient. Not a issue with the cabin itself, but the small roads leading to the cabin are full of pot holes. Nothing our rental SUV couldn't handle though.

Great location, near downtown Talkeetna. Place was super cute and spotless! Only hiccup was that the water pressure from the shower was a bit too much for the bottom of the shower curtain so it was tough to keep in place so water didn't spray out onto the floor. The curtain didn't really stay put inside the shower tub. Once we figured that out, it wasn't a problem.Lots of room upstairs to hang out and play games with the family. Overall, great place...would recommend!

Great way to stay in Talkeetna

We loved our stay at this house during our time in Talkeetna. The whole town is easily walkable from anywhere, so it was nice to be out of the way a bit. We enjoyed all of the activity at the airport and listening to all of the planes come and go. The house is very nicely done with lovely furniture, comfy bed, and great bathrooms. We absolutely would recommend this house to anyone staying in Talkeetna.

Amazing cabin in a great location

This cabin is beautiful, clean and more spacious than a hotel suite. The location is perfect for a fly-over and glacier landing tour. And for a quiet evening after a long day of adventures. It’s a very short drive to ‘downtown’ Talkeetna (very walkable if you like to walk). The hosts sent GREAT recommendations ahead of our stay, including a detour which proved to be a magnificent addition to our trip.

The Aviator cabin was clean, nicely decorated, welcoming, and larger than expected. Having the extra half bathroom on the second level was great for our family of 5. Good communication from Lyn and suggestions for before our arrival and during our stay. Easy access to downtown and would recommend to others.

Beautiful Cabin

Very comfortable - beautiful finishes inside with lots of options for sleep. Blackout shades were ideal for a summer visit to help us get sleep. The outdoor fire area and seating were also great - my boys loved making a camp fire. Thank you

Beautiful wooded setting in Talkeetna

Everything was exactly as we expected from the information on the listing. This home is within walking distance from the shops and restaurants of Talkeetna, but in a quiet and somewhat secluded part of town. It is close to the airport so you can hear and see the planes, but not enough to be disruptive. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped.
