Absolutely loved our stay at the birdhouse. It was very clean and the surroundings are very peaceful and quiet. Loved our evenings in the hot tub after hiking all day. Host was very responsive to questions. I highly recommend!

Convenient location to hiking at De Soto and Little River Canyon! Hot tub was great and location was private but central to recreation and dining. Would stay again!

Great cabin. The only suggestion I would recommend is foldable TV type trays to eat on. The only table is outside on back deck and in rainy situations you have nowhere to place food but otherwise great place!!

Home was lovely inside and out! Lots of privacy and easy to get to. Host was friendly and responsive. The only negative was you had to go out the front to get to the hot tub that was in the back.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Birdhouse! So clean and quiet/private! We came to the area to visit nearby DeSoto Falls and Little River Canyon where we hiked all day, so the soak in the hot tub afterwards was amazing! There was so much in the area we didn’t get to do since we only had one full day, so we will definitely plan to stay at the Birdhouse again in the future!

Everything about this property is as described. We enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness. Listening to the crickets and owls at night was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and has everything that you need for a short getaway from home. It also has the best hot tub that we have ever been in. The owner, Matt, is very helpful and kind. He is also extremely quick to respond to any questions that you may have during your stay. My husband and I will definitely return. We give the cabin and it's owner a perfect 10 out of 10 rating!

Such a sweet cabin! It was very clean and the host was extremely helpful! We come to Fort Payne once a year to hike and just get away. We would definitely stay here again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a getaway weekend. Everything was perfect! Beautiful property, everything was clean when we arrived, the host answered all of our questions in a timely manner, overall a wonderful stay! I would recommend this place to everyone!
