Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The beautiful autumn setting was so relaxing. The decor is wonderful. It had everything we needed and was well stocked. Very clean. Thoughtful little touches, such as having the fire ready to light in the wood stove. The beds were very comfortable.

Loved, loved, loved this place! Gorgeous inside and out. Felt very much at home, everything was very comfortable. Enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards and stayed nice and dry on the deck while it was raining. Very quiet and private. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Great getaway experience! The cabin was better than the pictures on the website; clean, cozy and in an absolutely fantastic spot! The views out the windows (which were very clean) were amazing every minute. Loved the wood stove! Excellent draw and easy to start! Thanks again for a satisfying stay!

Great getaway spot

Cool little modern cabin in the WI northwoods. Very clean, very private, and the place is just a vibe. Great communication from the host. Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend.

Fantastic and Private

We had an amazing time, Home was perfectly set up, Not a thing to worry about. Amazing views, and everthing you needed from information about the property to the Stand up paddle boards and the canoe. Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Hayward

Peaceful and clean cabin

This place is wonderful. Beautiful view of the lake, cozy wood fire, nice amenities. Wouldn't change a thing. We look forward to coming back to unwind.

We had such a wonderful time at Cassidy's Hayward Haus. The property itself is gorgeous and so serene. Nestled in the woods on a peaceful bay of the lake. The cabin is beautiful and very well appointed. Clean, cozy, comfy, airy, full of everything you'd need, well designed and perfectly located. It was one of the most relaxing retreats we've ever been on and perfect for celebrating our anniversary. We were so sad to leave. And can't wait to visit again. Cassidy was easy to work with and communicative. Highly recommend, especially for couples.

Amazing Lake House

The Hayward Haus was the perfect retreat. The views are beautiful, the indoor and outdoor spaces are comfortable and clean, and it was a quiet and peaceful place with plenty of outdoor activities to do nearby. We needed more time!

Such a lovely place in the woods! It was peaceful, pretty and serene - perfect for the 2 of us. The cabin is furnished beautifully and tastefully - just like the photos. I recommend the canoe to Eagle Island and as recommended in the house binder, we took a hike to St Peters Dome, it’s a good workout and worth it to see the fall colors. Recommend Pine Ridge Supper Club for their fish fry (that also includes chicken), Chippewa Inn for their prime rib and Tally Ho for their dinner specials. This cabin is a great place and hope to return next year.

Very nice

We had a great time. The cabin is so nice and in a great location. Ample firewood provided and the kitchen has everything you need. The king bed was super comfy. We had a rainy day and the covered deck was awesome, we were still able to be outside and stay dry. We saw numerous deer and even heard some loons. Close to downtown Hayward and a short drive to the casino. We would love to stay again.

Hayward Haus was incredible! My husband and I loved it so much that we now want to build our retirement house in this style! I know Cassidy can’t control the weather, but we lucked in to 5 gorgeous fall days of hiking in the area. The cabin has everything you need, the wood stove was easy to use (thanks to the lumberjack providing wood ;-) ), and breakfast on the deck looking out at that view every morning was just what we needed. We saw bald eagles and listened to loons while laughing at the geese that populated the cove. When you’re here, do yourself a favor, turn off your phone, ignore the news, and get out there on the lake in the canoe. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing Cabin!

An amazing cabin! Absolutely beautiful from the inside to the outside. The owner thought of every detail from heated flooring to a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The location was perfect, just a 15 min drive to downtown Hayward. Within an hour upon arrival we saw a dozen deer and an Eagle. The owner Cassidy, answered my questions promptly. We look forward to staying here again. A wonderful experience!

Magic Frozen Lake Retreat

Stunning views and a beautiful house with all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable! We arrived in the late afternoon with temperatures in the low 20s. It was wonderful to realize that the housekeeper had made us a fire in the wood burning fireplace! About 10 minutes to the OO Birkie Trail head. We’ll be back!!

Thanks for staying with us! The TV problems may have stemmed from the fact that there is no cable or satellite hook-up (as is advertised across the listing, streaming only), and I'm sorry that the weather and great wealth of nearby hiking trails of all difficulty levels listed in the welcome book didn't suit your preferences :)
